i'm so totally into the lord of the rings trilogy. but if it had to be a movie not based on a book then i would say kill bill. oh wait it has anime in it shoot. ok ummmmm oh yeah rear window!!! it's all about the classic suspense movies. so many other movies i like. i prefer the movies with a realy good story. gosh you hit the one topic i could go on and on about. but i'll hold back *holding himself back from the keyboard* movies are my passion.

Oh! Good that I hit a good topic. hehe! I love the lord of the rings trilogy too, even considering the fact that Pete used it as an expiriment on how to bankrupt nerds. My having two copies of each of the three movies being evidence of this. I'm just glad I'm more reasonable then the average fanboy and didn't bother getting the extended version with the bookcases, statues an so on. Kill Bill rocked my proverbile socks off. ^_^ So it had some anime in it, I say it's still a live action movie. Teratino (Think I spelt his name right) has always done great movies in my opinon, but I LOVED his action stint. I'm an old chinese kung fu movie fan too. Never seen Rear Window. Nor heard of it in fact. When was it made?

it was made in 1954 by alfred hitchcock. it has james stewart and grace kelly.

Ah that would explain why I didn't know it. I mostly seen stuff from the 80's up. Except for the original "House on haunted hill" I saw the old black and white version of that and liked it worlds better then the current one.

yeah classics are hard to improve. the only think they should do, at the most, is restore the colors with THX but otherwise people should leave them alone. ok i will admit there are some remakes that are pretty good, king kong for example was done very well and respectful to the original one.

I gotta admit I've been really skeptcle about king kong being a good remake. I mean yeah it was gonna be good. Jackson has talent, and with all the effects it'd be interesting, but I couldn't be sure about the story, the characters and all that being good. Specially with Jack Black being in there... Good for some comedies sure but kong? So I am waiting for it to be out on dvd.

bebop21 i still see jack black as the guy from tenatius D and less of an actor. but it wasn't bad Exactly. Even then Jack was focused on comedy in his Tenacious D days. It's ussually pretty bad when an actor tries for a part they don't normally do. An, Hiya Takalis.
