"Langley, Roost!" Nyx's fists were clenched and she seemed to be starting to get into it. Just a little. It helped that aerial battles were cool.

"Geot!" Langley dove for the nearest perch-able object and grabbed a hold. He needed to be as ready as possible for the coming onslaught. That, and Ran seemed to be faster and more maneuverable than he was, and Nyx wanted a moment to think.

Langley was not able to take off from his perch and dodge the twister fast enough, and was caught in the surge of winds. He looked worn out, but luckily that roost had given him the boost he needed to stick it out a little longer.

"Uh, oh, yes, Langley, Wing Attack!" Nyx was having trouble with strategy.

The pidgeot spread his wings after he was swept up in the tornado and used the momentum to dive at the other prettier Pidgeot.

Though Langley would have been able to go claw to claw with the girl pidgeot for a few more rounds, one hit from the jolteon knocked him right out. Electricity met bird, and bird started heading to meet ground.

"Langley! Return!" Nyx held out his pokeball and he disappeared as a beam of red light hit him, mere feet above the ground. She sighed. That was too close... And now things were getting difficult... she only had two pokemon left. One was a water type, and the other was new... But type disadvantage left little choice.
"Mendel, go!"

A striped Chikorita appeared in a flash of white light onto the field. "Chikaa!" The grass type had her game face on, ready for orders. "Poison Powder!" Nyx had no idea how well her new pokemon would fare... but she had high hopes. The little pokemon had spunk, and had survived against Jen's Pidgeot for longer than either had expected.

The large leaf on the pokemon's head began to wave around, releasing purple spores into the air.

Splat!

Mendel was none too happy with the toxic goop that smacked her in the face and got in her mouth... and it didn't seem to make her feel so good either.

"Sh-Razor Leaf!" Nyx raised her hands to her cheeks and held her face. Now both pokemon were poisoned. The clock was ticking.

The grass type shook what goo she could from her face and swung her leaf in a great arc, sending many dagger like leaves towards soaring towards the Jolteon.

Mendel cringed as she was sent tumbling back. Nyx's expression mimicked the pokemon's. It was hard to watch. And now Nyx couldn't think. Maybe four vs. four had been a bad idea... maybe battling all together had been a terrible idea. Her head seemed to be full of bad ideas at the moment.

The Chikorita noticed a lack of command and a surplus of hurt and began gathering the light in the room and turning it into energy with Synthesis.

Nyx noticed what her pokemon was doing and nodded. Not a bad plan.

Nyx nodded at Mau. "Synthesis, again!" She crossed her fingers. There was no telling how much damage the tackle attacks were doing combined with the poison, no way of telling if her chikorita's healing ability was going to be enough to outlast the jolteon. All she could do was hope.

The tackle hit Mendel and she tumbled back again. The pokemon was still concious, and so continued to act like a plant and photosynthesize

Mendel made little to no attempt to dodge the tackle. "Chikah-" She cried out. The poor thing was on its very last leg, so to speak. Waiting out a victory was not going to work.

"Razor leaf!" Nyx looked away as her chikorita swung its leaf around to throw off the spray of leaves... then fainted. Nyx winced as she recalled her pokemon and threw out her last one.

"Blaaaaas-toise!" Beaker materialized and stomped on the ground like a sumo-wrestler. She was ready!
