Celeste eyed him warily, her anger slowly cooling off as he talked, doing a fairly good job of convincing Celeste that he really might not know Freja. His mention of a fairy shrine just helped to solidify his innocence, even as it upset her more.

Maybe he was just a believer who had come up here to pray... did you pray to a fairy?... to talk to the fairy. She was however, still weary of him. Though if he didn't know how much she hated the subject she might have a chance of getting off the topic before he figured it out.

She shook her head and forced herself to relax, trying for an even voice. "Freja is... not a place. Freja is a person." She said, still eyeing Robert as if she wasn't quite ready to believe he hadn't been making fun of her. And then another thought hit her. "Wait a moment... you believe in fairies?" She asked suspiciously. "How do you know it's not just somebody playing a trick, sneaking into peoples houses and leaving strange, slightly flattering letters and beautiful shells?"

As stood there, in front of the stair, listening to what Celest was telling me, I couldn't help but wonder if that was a sort of a test. Somewhat to make me prove my worth to her, or else, either I would be killed on the sport, or returned to my bed, believing that everything that had happened today was just a dream. "If a fairy is someone playing tricks, who enter your house and leaves letters and shells and there's a person playing tricks who enter your house and leaves letters and shells, should we call that person a fairy?" I said, answering her question with another question. That was the way of the detective. There should always be more questions in the air than answer, until you could wrap everything together nicely at the very end. Until then, there was no point of answering them all. I might miss something important and answer one wrongly. That was an amateur mistake. "Now, shouldn't we get going, miss Celest? Or do you miss this place already?" It was clear that this was her home. It was normal to be homesick even before leaving when you weren't sure when you would returned. I felt some pity for the girl. Whatever her mission was, she had to be a strong woman to go through it.

Wait what? Celeste blinked a few times as she looked Robert, playing his question over in her head a few times as she tried to figure out if there was anything of use in there. But all that succeeded in doing was hurting her head. Deciding that she wasn't going to get a good enough answer out of him she decided to drop it. The shell was pretty and whoever this lavendar person was, well, maybe she didn't want to know.

She was pulled from her random thoughts and reminded of Robert's presence by his questions. "Hmmmm...?" She asked absently, then recalled their conversation. "Oh right. Yes. Let's go. I'm sure I shall come back here eventually but for now... I am more than happy to leave." She said seriously. The idea of being near in the same room as Robert and his fairy shrine made her uncomfortable. She gave him a blank look. "Uh... where are we going again?"

"I do not know. You know." I told her as we left the lighthouse. She was the fairy! She was suppose to guide me! I did not yet understood my role in all of that. All that I knew was that... somethign was happening, I needed to help the fairies, Habanero and Celest were fairies and they had to stay hidden.... There was one way to know where to go... I walked behind Celest, grabbed her by the shoulders and made her spin on herself, one, two, three, twelve time. "We go that way!" I told her as I started to walk in the direction she had pointed. I had absolutely no idea where that would lead us.

It didn't take as long as one would expect for the boy to reach the lighthouse. Though it was near dusk when June and his new companion had made there way to the lighthouse. But, that just added to the cool feel of this place. It was really... Spooky. So run down, abandoned, and mysterious, a great place to begin an adventure! Approaching the tall and dark spire, June slowed his bike to a stop, careful not to make the girl fall. The area was rocky, so June's bike only made it to the end of the road. The rest they walked. Which was fine with him. IT made it feel more like an adventure. He hopped from one rock to another, not thinking about Yuri. That is until he looked back. He frowned and stomped his right foot onto a larger rock. "Hurry up! We don't got all day," And they didn't. The sun was fading fast. And June wanted to explore it before the light was gone.

It had been a rocky ride, despite June's best efforts, to the lighthouse. The bicycle was a little back-heavy, or maybe it was just Yuri's imagination. Still, she had almost fallen off on several occasions, due to the fact that she had one hand holding down her skirt to her knees, and the other was frantically patting down her hair. Eventually she decided that she could only pick one, so she went with her skirt. She was wearing pantyhose, but she had dignity as a woman to uphold! ...That's what her dad always said. So when the bike came to a stop, she hopped off as soon as possible and spent the rest of the walk up to the lighthouse combing her hair with her fingers. She was distracted fixing her hair, and June was so busy hopping from rock to rock, eventually a large gap spread between the two of them. "D-don't go so fast!" she called after her, trying to hurry after him, but her careful movements made her slow, and she clumsily followed after him, trying her best to climb over the rocks. She liked the feeling of climbing things, but she was also careful not to slip in her patent leather mary janes.

She had just about reached the lighthouse, when she lost her footing and slipped. "Hyaah!" she let out a short squeal as she slid down the side of the rock. It was short enough that she didn't hurt herself, but upon stepping away from the rocks and back onto the path, she noticed that she had torn a hole in the right knee of her stockings. "Oh noo..." she breathed, fretting for a moment over the state of her clothes. He was going to get mad! She continued staring at her knees, poking the small patch of exposed skin as if by doing so, it would reveal that she was imagining it and that there was no hole. She didn't stop until June called to her. That's when she put the stocking issue aside and looked up. June was still a ways ahead, but farther than that was the lighthouse. "...Wow." She began to make her way up the path to the lighthouse. Look at it! It was so old and crumbly! It was enough to make her heart race~

Watching Yuri fall put a bad taste in June's mouth. He never liked seeing other people's misfortune; though often times he was the cause of them. So seeing the girl look saddened made his chest tighten a bit. But, it did not last long seeing the girl's expression as he eyes locked onto the tower. With a couple more hops he reached the ledge of the building. Firmly planting his feet he held out his hand for Yuri to climb up and afterwards he headed to the door. It was old, old and worn down looking. It had to be locked! Thinking this the boy put aside his backpack and lifted his leg up. He kicked the door with all his strength only to find that it opened easily. And with that, he fell through the archway. With a cough, the boy looked up while on his back. The room was dark with a small red glow from the outside sky. It felt dusty and a bit slimy from the ocean air. It had a real... Adventure-y feel to it. He got back on his feet and let his eyes adjust to the darkness. "This place really IS cool!" June said as he stomped from one side to the other, getting a feel for the place.

Yuri continued to make her way up to the lighthouse, admiring it as she did so. She didn't know why things like this pleased her so much, but for some reason, she had always liked the old and broken. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, living here. Sure, there were plenty of lighthouses in Seattle, where she had lived for the year before, but there was something about this one, all abandoned and beaten by the wind and the water, that made her smile. She took June's hand to climb up onto the ledge, letting go immediately to help herself balance. She followed the boy silently, pausing where she was when he kicked the door open -- and fell. "Mmf!" she clapped her hands over her mouth as she was hit by laughter, holding it back as well as she could. He looked so funny, trying to be cool by kicking the door open, only to end up tumbling in and landing on his back. But she should at least make sure he wasn't injured first. She hurried after him, standing in the door way just in time to see him stand up and begin to stomp around. She couldn't hold it in anymore, and she was hit by an intense wave of laughter. She wasn't sure why she was laughing so hard, but she held onto her stomach and laughed, her voice echoing in the empty lighthouse. He was such a dork!

June obviously know what the cause of his companion's laughter. However, he could have cared less. This place was way to interesting for him to care about anything else. And now that he had a feel for the place, he knew just what to do. He hurried back outside for his backpack which when he picked up and throw into the lighthouse made a lot of noises of metal clanging together. He walked over to where it had landed, somewhere in the middle of the room, and crouched next to it. Unzipping the bag revealed an assortment of spray paint cans and on top a flashlight. June already had a plan for the night, just not a target. But, the lighthouse was perfect. As the shade of night began to darken the room more, the boy found it irritating that he was losing the ability to see. Hence the flashlight. He flicked it on and stood it up in the middle of the room. Afterward he pulled Yuri into the room with him. "It'll be a hassle if someone sees us" He told her as he emptied his bag onto the floor. He then put it up on a ledge above the door's window to block any light from shining out. And after all that was settled and done with he looked for a spot on the wall where he could start his project...

Soon Yuri's laughter subsided, as the thing that had been so funny had moved onto other things. Meaning, June had continued to explore the lighthouse room like a normal person. Coughing lightly, she wiped the tears from her eyes and took a moment to look around the room as well, from where she was standing. It was dark enough in there, as the few sources of light were clouded with age, but it was also beginning to approach evening. That made her nervous, she had to be home by dark, and she doubted she'd be able to make it. Sure, there was no one home to make sure that she got home on time, but what if there police officers walking around, watching for children out past curfew? She opened her mouth to say something about it, when June yanked her into the room. She looked at him curiously as he emptied the contents of his bag, quite noisily. A can rolled over and bumped against her foot, and she reached down to pick it up and examine it. It was a metal can... A spray can? Of paint? It took her a moment to realize what June was doing with it. Graffiti! A nine year old was defacing public property? He was just a little kid! She stared at the can in surprise before glancing up to see him examining the wall. He was going to spray paint the inside of the lighthouse! "What are you doing?!" she cried as she stepped forward, then shoved June hard to the side. Overkill, perhaps. But the last thing she wanted was for this beautifully old building be marked by a kid's sloppy drawings!

In the middle of his inspection, June was... Forcibly interrupted by Yuri. From the unsuspected force of her push, the boy staggered back and eventually fell onto his rear. "What the hell was that for?!" He snapped at the girl harshly. He picked himself off of the floor and moved towards Yuri, his teeth clenched and his eyes locked on her in a vicious glare. The hell was her problem? All June was doing was looking for spaces to hide some of the things his parents wouldn't let him keep in the house. It was a hassle to not be able to keep them. However, his parents didn't give him much choice. So the boy had decided that this place might make a good spot for it. Along with maybe becoming a new secret base. So why the hell was this girl freaking out? Of course the boy was completely oblivious to the fact that he was just examining a wall and had spray paint cans littered across the floor. But... June was rather dense when riled up. Letting his fingers curl into a fist and moving directly in front of the girl, he began to speak once more, "What is your problem? Attacking me when I'm just looking at a wall!"

Somehow, even though they had only known each other for a short time, Yuri had been expecting June to get angry with her, and she fumbled with her fingers tensely. Of course he had gotten mad, she had done something totally over the top and out of hand. For a moment, she shrank back. She hated it when people got angry with her! It made her feel small and insecure. But wait -- that's when she remembered. She was angry with him first! After a moment of looking like she had just done something terrible, she then frowned once again. Her actions aside, that wasn't something little kids should do! "What are those?" she asked, pointing to the messy pile of spray cans. "You're just a kid. That's bad, really, really bad." She could deal with a foulmouthed little boy who acted bigger than he really was, but graffiti? That wasn't okay, no matter how old you were.

Somehow her pointing out the cans and making June realize what she was assuming, just made him angrier. "Their just spray paint!" He yelled, the tower echoing his voice. To think this girl was accusing him of graffiti!... Well it wasn't beyond him. But still! This place was cool looking as it was. Well... Maybe it would look cooler with a bit of his touch. However, he just moved here. He wasn't going to do anything that got him in to much trouble right off the start. His glare grew stronger as he thought this. Although, it broke quickly after his comment, "I know you were a goody-two shoes." As he spoke his hands moved into his pockets. He turned his back on her with a slight hmph, "But I didn't think you would freak out just because I was looking closely at a wall." Really, what was wrong with this girl? Besides, calling him a kid! She couldn't have been older than him more than a year or two. And she was treating him like some ruthless brat.

Ahhh, he was so frustrating! Yuri was getting more and more annoyed, and now it was just confusing her. She didn't know what was true, what wasn't, and she wasn't sure how to act. She let out a soft sigh and covered her eyes with her hands, before running her hands up through her hair. (She then had to pat her bangs back down, but that wasn't important.) That's when June called her a goody-two shoes, and her head snapped up. "I am NOT a goody-two shoes!" she exclaimed, looking at him in surprise. However, she couldn't continue to argue. If she wasn't a goody two shoes, then what was she? She was constantly nervous about getting in trouble... That sounded like a goody-two shoes thing to her!
