well....i need help with my profile. i came up with an idea of a genjutsu, but i don't know if its legit.
its a jutsu where you open up a crag in the ground and it drops only about 5 feet, but its filled with a black mist. if you fall into the mist, your mind thinks that your falling endlessly.
but i guess i can join mist.
i still need help with the jutsus regardless

I am no crew, nor vc, but I have applied tons of costums in other guilds and I think this has a good chance if you fill in the aplication correctly.

Well thinking up a jutsu is mainly about the rp example you can give with them, so the crew/vc who judges it can see how you are going to use it and what exactly it does and how an opponent can escape from it.
If you're genjutsu class, wouldn't it be easier to create a, say chuunin ranked, jutsu that makes a fictional hole appear beneath your opponent with black mist coming out of it and he still thinks he falls endless. Since genjutsu class isn't that powerful to crack open ground and it would take some real skill to get your opponent to fall into that hole.

Other question for DSW: Would it be possible to uprank me to crew so I can actually change and edit things around Mist if the need arises or do I have to beg any other crew member to do that for me?

I hope I helped a little ^^ you just gave me an idea. take what you just said. heres what im thinking the genjutsu activates on contact, meaning i have to physically hit them, making them step back. genjutsu activates. they think that they just stepped into a hole and will start to fall. the one where a hole appears under them can be a higher rank jutsu, the area is wider, can affect more then one person (if i can do that) and doesn't require physical contact.

I see where you are going. I just say, apply for it in the costums and see if it gets accepted. As I said, I am not really good with accepting stuff, maybe they can help you more if it doesn't get accepted. But to me, it sounds just fine.

can I be chunnin or higher in Leaf it would seem there are no active high ranks in konoha. so us low ranks can't get the training we need, if I am a chunnin I could lead a team of genin and train them and hopefully get some training in myself.
