Riku Itsuki Amakura  All night staring at theceiling
Counting the minutes I've been feeling this way
So far away and so alone ((This will be my only post for tonight cause I have to go to bed early tonight. I will post tomorrow.)) A shadow danced around the trees nearby the two fairies, Mina and Selene. To any normal eye, the shadow would just be taken as the darkness coming off the trees shined by the sun. To an assassion however, they could see what most could not. The fact that this shadow had a name and that name wa Riku. Riku Itsuki Amakura. One of the few assassions still around that didn't just do it for the money. He did it for the thrill of the kill. His red purple eyes watched the two closely. The idea that they were after some legendary warrior both amused and disappointed him. A princess, believing in such fairy tales? How naive. Though, I can't helped to be peaked. If the undead believe this warrior exists, then that means I could possibly see that Linda girl. Then my revenge would be extracted. My search could be over...But you know it's alright
I came to my senses
Letting go of my defenses Riku jumped down from his hiding spot, landing behind Mina. He smirked and stood up, tall and proud. "Hello." Riku told in a smooth voice, keeping up his cocky air and smirk. There's no way I'm giving up this time
Yeah, you know I'm right here
I'm not losing you this time

  King Darian
Darian Was in his throne room 3 of his finest Death knights in front of him kneeling. Darian had a map of his dear brothers land in his arms, his blood red eye scanning it with caution, looking at the villages he destroyed and the ones whom where yet to be destroyed. Darian marked 3 villages with black ink, rolled up the map and gave it to the Death knight in the middle. "You know what to do, but this time, turn the in to undead as well." The King has spoken and the Death knights just gave a nod and vanished in to thin air to gather the troops to start the invasion on the 3 poor villages Darian had selected.
As Darian heard the knock on his door he immediately knew who it was, his dear spy Linda has returned from her mission. He knew she would return and he also knew that the intelligence she gathered wasn't going to disappoint. "Enter my dear Linda" The words echoed threw the large room, as Darian made his way back on to his throne to sit.

Linda entered the throne room and walked the long hall towards the throne, kneeling in front of the King, her head bowed.
"I bring news news both good and bad my King. The bad is that I have not yet found the warrior, but the good is that the youngest daughter of King Oberon has left in search of the warrior as well. She is headed towards the seaside to consult the Oracle, and from there will be able to find him. If I follow her, then I will be able to find him as well," Linda said. She peered up at Darian with her one good eye. "I can kill the Princess Serenity and take the warrior and kill him as well when he is found..." Her voice sounded almost gleeful, her smirk very much present upon her deadly beautiful face.

Selene
Selene gasped, but immediately pushed Mina behind her and drew her sword in one fluid motion, glaring at this new stranger.
"Who are you?" she asked coldly. "You will do well to answer before I slice you from navel to nose..." She was in truth very frightened, but she would not let anyone hurt her or Mina, especially not Mina. She loved her older sister very much.

 Mina Mina followed behind Selene, walking slowly so that they didn't get too tired too quickly. She watched and listened to Selene, her eyes looking at Selene, but was seeing all around them. Mina was still walking behind Selene when she finally turned to her once more. Selene was looking to Mina, still calling her sister, and every time she did Mina's heart would break a little more. As Selene grasped her hands and begged her not to return her home Mina gave a small smile and nodded her head. She wouldn't upset Selene if she could, she would do whatever she could to make Selene happy. She would even allow Selene to look for this chosen one, something she knew was likely to get her beaten by the King and Queen. "I will help you Selene, I will come with you to make sure you are safe. That way the King and Queen will be a little more at ease once we return."Mina looked to the male who had just jumped in front of them, her eyes focused solely on his form and nothing else. She allowed Selene to push her behind her, knowing that if she tried to protect Selene she would feel like she was being treated as a child. As Mina looked to the male she spoke softly, her tone even and without emotion. "Now Selene, let us not be too hasty in passing judgment. We must be cautious not forceful. Sir, who are you and why have you chosen to jump out in front of us? Please state your business for we are busy and cannot be delayed."

Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron blinked as they came across a group of others in the woods, adventuring types, by the look of it... well, seems like this guy was right... He just sighed, looking off to the side, disinterred... there was way too many people here... This "Meiun" guy had better know what he was doing... I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above "Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the falls..." Meiun, walking up, nodded to the group, and said "Hello, my name is Meiun... I was charged by the King and Queen to find those I need to in order to find a way to defeat the forces of the undead..." Honestly, he really didn't want to be going around like this... it was too official... but... He needed people to help him, and he was given a quest... It was out of his control... "Among you, who has the capabilities to take up such a task?""...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls"  Never gonna save me

And now it's over cause I'm stepping out, again Athrius blinked as he was led off by her, and said, somewhat more passionately than he realized, "How could any of them be so ignorant? It's your energy and spice that makes you so-" He stopped dead in mid-sentence. He realized both that he had been saying that with more care than he usually spoke, and that he had been about to admit something he really didn't want to admit... His face heated up, but he quelled it when he decided to answer her question. "It's simple, really... In the faerie kingdom, during the time I had really lived... If you killed someone's child, your child had to die... Eldest to eldest, youngest to youngest... My brother was the eldest, and his best friend had been accidentally killed by my dad... Miron ran away... So they had to compensate, and took me instead. I was shot by the executioner firing squad, and from there... Mom died of cancer... Dad committed suicide, my sister was sold into slavery and died in childbirth as far as I can tell... and my brother is still living out there... after all he had done, after sacrificing our whole family for himself... I... I just can't let that happen..." He sighed... He normally would tell nobody that story... but... he felt like he wanted to tell her... Never gonna break me

Selene Selene looked up at the new person, then looked at Mina. "Mina... Does Mother and Father already know that we are gone...?" she whispered. "He doesn't seem like he's going to take us back though..."

Sheridan  Sheridan smiled as she looked to Athrius, her eyes sparkled with the happiness that she felt. A happiness that was born of someone wanting to actually spend time with her other then her father and her 'teacher'."I cannot blame them, they are part of the undead, and most do not enjoy my happiness. They find it too much for them to handle."She looked to him as he started to tell her of the reason he wanted his brother dead. Tears appeared in her eyes as she looked and listened to him speak. She stood up not thinking if he would appreciate it or not, but she stood and hugged him, a hug that was genuine. A hug that showed no matter how different they might be, she did care about him, maybe more then she did for any of her father's other men."Oh, I am so sorry to hear that! How could they do such a thing to a child? Let along allow their whole family to parish because of one act of stupidity. How could they have such a law, that would just cause more hurt and anger."Sheridan shook her head, she would never understand such things. How could pain make a previous pain better? That was one thing she didn't agree with her father on, but she would never question him. He had taken her in and had cared for her, when he could have so easily told his guard to leave her to die.

The formal style really wasn't his thing... he didn't even know any of these people, and he was knew here... but formal just felt uncomfortable... "Screw it... If none of you want to help, so be it, I can probably find this "Ancestral Hero" or "Ancient hero" or "Legendary hero"... Whatever it was... myself. I was looking forward to some help on this, since I don't even know the guy, nor would I recognize him if I met him... but whatever." Slowly, he turned, and began to walk away from the group... He really didn't care... He just had to finish this job so that he could move on with his life... If he got the job finished fast, he might have some more clocked time to do some things he actually WANTED to do. The more time he waited on people to bicker, the less time he had for entertainment. Selene "Wait!" Selene called. She hadn't forgotten the stranger who had jumped in front of him, but she had heard the other new one mention the Legendary Warrior. "I am looking for the legendary warrior too! Mina and I are both looking for him! Please... You would join us, or we would join you? I think we would have far better luck if we went together..." Selene had lowered her sword by this time, and it was in a low gaurd, though she was still in a defensive position.

And now it's over cause I'm stepping out, again Athrius's heart beat ten times faster once she had hugged him, and he didn't know what to do about it. His face had gone staunch red, and he was breathing heavily... Anyone walking by would have been able to tell he was crushing wildly on her... but he accepted the hug, even though he restrained the will to return it. He sighed, and said "The law was revoked... and it was less their fault than Miron's fault that the family crumbled... Dad and Miron were the main sources of income... They couldn't afford taxes after Miron was gone, so they took Aloyena as payment... slave labour... not the government, but the money loaner we had borrowed from... Mom lost will to fight the cancer after that, and died... She had lost all three of her children, it was understandable... Dad... It was only a matter of time... Too much had been happening to him... All Miron would have had to do is at least send some money... but he didn't... If he had done that, they might have been able to make ends meet... That's why I blame him, not the government..."Never gonna break me

MinaMina looked to the two new people that had walked up behind them. She adjusted her stance, allowing her to watch all three of the new people. She looked to Mina, her voice only heard in Selene's head as she responded.'Selene, I do not think they know of you leaving the castle. I think they have asked this person to search and find the hero you seek. Maybe we should join them? But I think we shouldn't tell them of who we are, for I am sure the King and Queen said that none of the royal family could join in the quest.'Mina turned a little more fully towards the now retreating men, her eyes watching as they walked away. When she finally spoke her voice was audible and loud enough to carry to the men that were retreating."Sir's, I think if we all just talk we can figure something out. I am sure you need all the help you can get, and we need all the help we can get, for we too are looking for the chosen one."

SheridanSheridan moved back to sit on her chair, tears were still in her eyes, tears she tried hard to keep from falling. She looked to Athrius and nodded, understanding what he said, but also hating the fact that he was blaming his brother."The law should have never been, but it is good that they have revoked it. But I am sure that it wasn't revoked until many children were killed. It is horrible what they did to your sister, I would never had allowed such things to happen. What if your brother, due to the shock that he was going to be killed, couldn't remember the situation with your family? I am not saying it was right for him to leave but would you have been able to live with yourself if he died? Would you not be heart broken upon his death? Forget your anger at him and think back, did you care for your brother? Did you love him? What would you have felt if he had stayed and been killed in the exact form you had been killed?"
