I'd rather just buy them, too. I don't get to download much from SLSK b/c I don't share many files. sweatdrop
I should just use the banners, anyway, even though I feel fake b/c I haven't even heard of some of them.

hell yes! hehe heart if anyone asks, like quizzes you on what the best rtack is or something, i'll feed you some good lines so you'll look smart! cool edit: btw anyone else noticing the guilds acting like poo? i have to edit this a second time now stressed so i was saying that i love praise and all, but i'll keep making them regardless -- i'm an addict. so what i really need is some constructive criticism stuff. there are more banners and more alternate colors on the photobucket... http://photobucket.com/albums/v480/poopykins/ ...so do you guys want more, want more of a given band, prefer diff't colors, want me to touch up my sloppy collages, fix the transparency on the hellshit/carhouse, just go crazy with new ones, include any from the photobucket instead, or care? naa mean? i'll seriously keep pumping them out for a bit but i'm not trying to spam this thread up with 100s nor do i think that anyone (but me) would want to use all of these. so... i need a little direction! two (three? four?) questions i have in particular are borders? and bands? and, do you like the abstract "soundlounge" ones? or would you like to keep going with the band photos and stuff like that..?

Well, I can't view the banners and stuff because it says it's private and I need to log in.
It personally doesn't matter to me. If you have time for it, creativity is always welcome, but it's not really necessary if you don't want to do it and just want to stick the guild name on a band image. It's all fine with me!
Oh... and if anyone wants to make like 10 Melt-Banana banners ... xd

I'd make abstract logo banners all damn day, but I wasn't sure if I was getting away from the guild concept a bit there or what. Like I said, I don't want to spam up the thread and make anyone feel like they have to like them or whatnot. I'm just a loon who'll probably make a couple dozen more whenever I get bored, for a few weeks. And Melt Banana banners should be fun to make! 3nodding nalfy, i'm glad you like em. but that's not constructive! scream but thanks. wink whee

ok, i uploaded a pretty shitty MB banner just now. Sorry, but I was on vacation all this week, and I'm about to go out for the weekend right now, so I figured I'd just post what I was working on today, no matter how shitty ^^; Proper MB banners next week! heart

Sorry, but the current MB banner project has yet again met with technical dificulty (my incompetence!) biggrin I'm having trouble using the smudge tool on a .gif with transparency. Myabe someone can help? I was able to get this by taking a screenshot:  which, I like anyway wink Unfinished but you get the idea. the prob is this was made by smudging her pants into the transparent area of the Layer. For whatever reason (like I am a noob), I can't seem to get this color data inculded in the image -- I think PShop is just using these colors as representation of the effect the smudging would have on the layer below it (were there one!)... aigh! when I save to .gif (or Flatten Image) it looks like this:  or if I save suing a matte, I can get it to this:  (sorry for the big images, that's the working size)

Thanks! biggrin But I wonder which version you are referring to sweatdrop here is my terrible bastardization of a once-decent-idea:  unless someone wants me to clean this one up and go with it, or unless someone can tell me how to tell PShop to turn a certain color (grey, in the topmost case here) into transarency, I think I'll just move on with yet another M-B banner idea xp stare whee EDIT: ummm... kayyyy.... so, I went ahead with that idea (it's on page 2) and it sucked, too xd I think i'll try a K.I.S.S. idea this time... sweatdrop
