Dec enters BARC and slids his Racing Card through the reader in front of the elevator. The door opens and he holds it for Katana. She steps in and they rise up to the second floor, the Racing Center.
Inside the smell of fresh paint is fading. "Well this is it. Bar is over there. Bookie is there. The observation deck is through those doors." Then he is glomped by Bonnie. "Ack!"

She laughs as Dec is attacked from behind by Bonnie, and then looks around the racing center. Walking slowly to check everything out, she heads to the bar to get another vodka over ice. She takes her drink from the bartender and makes her way back over to Dec and Bonnie, sipping her drink.
"Bonnie...this is quite a spread you have here. Very nice. smile "

Bonnie lets go of Dec and smiles at Katana. "Welcome lassie!" She loops her arm through Katana's. "Jimmy, her drink is on the house. Put that money on her tab." Drinks in hand, Bonnie begins to show Katana around, with Dec trailing behind.
"Let's go out hinto the Observation Room." The deck is a wide plush area with sofas and chairs. The entire outer wall is glass and overlooks the greyhound racing track as well as an undeveloped land.
"There be the track and we can take a look through the kennels if you like. They'll be a race soon if ye wish to wager on it. Of course we will have to visit the other races as well, so ye may not wish to bet until you've seen all the te do."

She smiles as she listens to Bonnie's lilting accent, being led to the observation deck so she can see the track.
"Bonnie, this is your show. You lead me wherever you want to, hun. I'm just admiring all the scenery here. This really is a beautiful spot you've chosen."

"Whell then" Bonnie whisks her out of the Observation room and leads her to the Random Races. "Here ye can place a bet of a random race. We race chickens, Turtles, Weasels, and Chinchillas." There are four small tracks down in sunken pits. There is plexiglass fences to keep spectators from interfering in the race. Bonnie points to the rules posted near the small tracks. "That's how you play the game. Quote: Roll a D4 to find out what type of race is being run.
1= Chicken Racing 2=Turtle Racing 3=Weasel Racing 4=Chinchilla Racing
And roll a D100 to find out if you win. The winning numbers for each type of race and the prize money for each race is listed below. The chances of winning vary according to the animal racing. You may collect after a win or go for double if you keep playing for another win within the next 24 hours.
Ex: 1 win at Chinchilla racing = 50G, 2nd win within the next 2 hr = 100G, so 150G for the two wins. The cap is 5 wins in 24 hours.
Chicken Racing - Win (1-5) - 500G
Turtle Racing - Win (1-10) - 100G
Weasel Racing - Win (1-15) - 70G
Chinchilla Racing - Win (1-20) - 50G

Dec grins, "So we don't have to pay extra? Just roll a D4 and then a D100? I'll give it a shot!"
"Turtle racing? Really?" The turtles are set up and begin their race. Some are faster than others but Dec has fun cheering his on.

She grins at Dec cheering on a turtle. Chuckling, she goes to see what she'll get to watch race.
"Weasels?" She laughs, "I don't think I've ever seen a weasel, much less seen one race?"
She cheers on her weasel, watching their long bodies race around the track.

She can't help but laugh at the sight of a group of weasels racing...they were rather cute.
She looked up at the board when the race was over.
"Omigod, DEC! I won! xd And on my very first race too!"
She looked over at Dec and grinned.

Bonnie cheered as Katana's weasel crossed the finish line first!!!
"Congradulations! You won 70G!" she hugs Katana. "If you want you can collect from the bookie now or wait until you finish betting."

She finds herself being hugged by Bonnie and then by Dec. She kisses him back, and just gives him a silly grin.

Bonnie grins and continues leading Katana through the back rooms where the weasel's, chinchilla's, turtles, and chickens were kept in separate pens behind a plexiglass wall. Then they spun through the greyhound kennel. The whining barking hounds were lean and fit; eager to move. They had cages, pens, and a long run for exercise.
They finished back in the Observation Room just in time for a greyhound race. "Whell do either of ye feel lucky?"

"There are the rules," Dece says and motions to a large sign on the wall. "I think I'll give it a try." Quote: Greyhound Racing Twelve greyhounds race in a single race. Roll one D12 to pick which animal you are betting on. This is your greyhound's Number. At this point, you have two options: 1. You can choose to take a SIMPLE bet and just roll another D12 to find out if your greyhound wins. In this case, if you get the same number as you rolled before then your greyhound wins and you win 500G. 2. You can add money to your bet by trading BonnieWeeLassie the gold you would like to place on your animal. The cap is 1000G. You must specify in your post: Your greyhound's number, the type of bet, and the amount of gold you placed on the animal. (Types of bets are below) Please do not cheat. If I notice people are changing their type of bet in order to win, I will make the rules more complicated and therefore less fun. Play nice or the rodeo clowns will get you. Types of BetsSTRAIGHT bet = Send your Bet Amount to Bonnie, Win = 500G + BAx2XXXXX(Roll 1 D12 and if you roll your greyhound’s number, you win. Same process as Simple Bet.) PLACE bet = Send your BA to Bonnie, Win = 500G + BA +(1/2 BA)XXXXX(Roll 2 D12 and if you roll your greyhound’s number, you win. Same process as Simple Bet.) SHOW bet = Send your BA to Bonnie, Win = 500G + BA +(1/3 BA)XXXXX(Roll 3 D12 and if you roll your greyhound’s number, you win. Same process as Simple Bet.)
