Odette crossed her arms over her chest and looked at him. No, she hadn't met him, hadn't introduced herself to him, and most certainly hadn't complimented him in such a manner. Because he was not incredibly handsome and being around him gave her the jitters.
His fang filled grin just proved it. She would have remembered meeting a vampire in this place. That also told her why he unsettled her. Oh yes, a lot of questions were answered in the fang filled grin. "You know mister, maybe it is you with the memory loss. 'Cause I haven't said anything like that." she stood her ground, not bothered by the fact he had leaned down closer to her.

Odette didn't like this stranger making up things, she didn't like him making up things and she didn't like the way he was circling her and she didn't like him mocking her. She hadn't met him, she would know his name if she had met him, and they didn't dance here either. Could she have met him? During her black out? He should stick out to her, he was a vampire for crying out loud!! She would remember that!!"What's my name." she demanded angrily, he had called her Marie, that was obviously not her name, and if she had introduced herself she definitely wouldn't have used that name!!

Odette narrowed her eyes at him. She knew it!! He didn't know her name!! Therefore everything he had been telling her was a lie!! She mentally sighed in relief because it would have been quiet odd if he had been telling the truth. She looked at him confused. "Wha-" then she retorted angrily "Why does everyone call them fangs!? They're just teeth, those quack doctors keep saying it's part of something that's wrong with me, I personally think it's the slop they're trying to feed us." she looked at him coolly, then decided that getting back to her room, was more important than hanging around in the hallways. He knew she was a vampire, but she would deny it!!
But wait... this guy was a vampire too? Could she- could she use this guy to help her find food? He didn't look like the type to be easily taken advantage of though... ******** it, she would get out on her own and find her own meal then. "Good night then mister." she said and began walking down the hall again.

Odette looked at him warily when he ended up in front of her. "Oh you know, about five weeks ago when I supposedly killed all those people." she remarked sarcastically. Which was actually almost the complete truth. Lucky for Odette the doctors had wrote down everything they had observed and learned about her and a quick look through the files told her everything she needed to know about why she was here. And the way her body felt it really must have been 5 weeks since she had last fed. And you know, bathing in blood sounded like a fantastic idea. She tilted her head to the side and regarded Rufus with a cool stare.

  Five weeks? Five weeks! That was crazy talk! Did she have an eating disorder!?
"Dear God that is terrible. Five weeks? Aren't you starving?!" Rufus couldn't go two days without at least a taste!
Granted he had a sort of condition but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle without the authorities on his tail.
"That's disgusting." He spat shaking his head. "I hate those lunatic 'fighting for humanity' anorexic vampires." Rufus shot his head to look straight at Odette.
"Dear," he said grabbing her hands as though to signify a serious conversation. "killing people is okay. Don't be fooled by laws, or morals, if you're upset, or a little hungry, it's okay to let your eyes wander about the room, pick out a target, seduce them later and suck out all their blood. Human lives aren't very important, you don't have to keep living like this!"
What a talk...you usually didn't hear that one.
And what was great about the location: if anyone overheard, they'd just account it to Rufus being a patient at a mental hospital.
"Oh and darling, they aren't just teeth. Teeth can't pierce solid stone or crush a human femur bone...not unless they belong to a hyena." True, very true.
"Teeth aren't two centimeters long with an edge like a knife either." He shook his head.
He was just, such a good person, for telling her this.
Rufus shook his head.
"I'd start throwing up your food the night you eat it as well...that's why you probably feel sluggish every once and a while. All that slop and bred just sits in your bowels and waits to be regurgitated...it even starts to smell like a dead puppy, and let's be honest, no one likes a dead puppy."
"Now you may think I'm crazy, and if you inset I'm missing a few marbles or perhaps need to get my head examined, you wouldn't be the first, but I assure you I am here for one reason and one reason alone." He took a breath. "I suck men's genitals and by the way, you're a vampire."
He nodded before smiling brightly.
"I've released you from your ignorance and now you can prey upon the living! Tra la la! Ha zah!"

You know, if she didn't already know she was a vampire she would have been very confused. And also very angry for him trying to con her into something. But as the way things were, she learned something new about throwing up her food every night, she personally wouldn't eat the foul stuff and she would slap any b***h who tried to make her.
She also found out the man in the hat was what people called, homosexual. "Well, won't that be fun." she said and looked at him with a rasied eyebrow "And I suppose you will join me in my preying then mister?" she asked.

You know, he was surprised no one had come to check and see if they had actually made it to their rooms. What kind of shitty sanatorium was this!? Whatever, if they wanted to be dumb ******** and let their patients run around, that was their prerogative.
Well Rufus had caused a lot of collateral damage so they were probably taking care of that and recasting people's noses.
"Hmm, you mean dinner?" Rufus pursed his lips and looked around the hall.
"Here?" Rufus nodded his head. "Sure, sure, I'm confident I can attract us a fine meal." Rufus thought very highly of is predatory skills. He could make people come to him that's how good he was at hunting.
It was easy. He flashed a smile, caught their eyes, flirted with them in their hypnotized state and killed them. Hell sometimes he'd just suck on a a slit forearm the victim had slashed themselves.
"Please excuse me a moment before we go, I must rid myself of the discomforting contents of my now full stomach."
Wouldn't that be fun.

Odette frowned, she remembered all of about... three days here. But she had figured out the schedule very quickly, she had to if she was going to get something to eat. Then she had blacked out again and it seemed that she didn't eat while that was happening. "Both of us need to go back to our rooms first. They will come around and give everyone a sedative that allows the pig guards in this place to just go home, obviously it doesn't effect you or I." boy she sure sounded like someone who knew they were a vampire for much longer than just a few minutes. "I'll meet you in the hallway again once the guards have made their final rounds at 1:00." And then she walked off again.

Odette sighed and rolled her eyes, looking at him "If you didn't notice, they stuck me a few times with that sedative and it didn't so s**t to me. I'm using my brain and assuming it was because I was a vampire, because it works on humans anyways." yeah, she was quick on making up s**t. She always had to account for s**t she didn't know happened during her black outs, she was quite good at lying. "Now though you obviously my loath the idea of parting from my company, I must get back to my room before the guards make their rounds. I will see you in a few hours mister." she said with a raised eyebrow and stepped around him once again.

No, no ,no, something was very off with that answer.
b***h thought she could outsmart him? Aw hell no. Rufus was highly educated for several different reasons and he was such a liar that he knew when someone wasn't telling it straight.
Vampires, especially the baby ones that had no idea vampires existed until they were one and someone told them, identified themselves with humans for quite a while. Her diction was just all off. Why say 'humans' instead of 'the other people' if she had just figured out she was a vampire? Hmmm? And even if everything fit together, wouldn't a normal person have freaked out knowing they were a vampire?
She just sort of accepted it. If you didn't have prior knowledge you didn't accept being a vampire right away. If you did accept it, you exposed to vampires before being turned or you knew you were a vampire already.
So hah! Take that crazy b***h! Rufus:1949556373, b***h a** ho mother ********, 0.
"Ah yes my dearest lady, parting is such sweet sorrow!" He threw his arms arm and cast his head back to dramatically his hat flew off his head and into the air.
Rufus spun to retrieve his prized possession.
"I hope you recall what such a line is from my dearest." He placed the top back on his head.
"When I return tell me what play I have just quoted!"
Testing her intelligence was important because, well because if she was educated he'd have to make sure to lie a lot more!
