He spun Jane around. Using one arm to pin her arms to her sides, he used the other to tilt back her head, presenting her smooth neck.

the girl didnt seem very apetizing to nariko but she was very thirsty.she hesitently bared her fangs and leaned into the girls neck,and going against her oath,bit her gently.

Jane struggled as the other slave bit her. She didn't know how far the girl would go now that she had insulted her kind. Even if her words were true, she didn't mean to be so snide and heartless.

nariko drank what she thought was a fair amount and backed away,her eyes returning to normal.

Her master's request rang true, for Jane felt a great wave of fatigue settle in her brain now that the girl had backed away. She sank to her knees, her vision blurred.

Stephen pressed a handkerchief against the wound on Jane's neck. He said into her ear, "If I let go, will you run?"

She considered his question, but shook her head. "No..." She whimpered quietly. She was too tired to run anyhow.

"Good." He let her go and had her take the handkerchief to hold to her neck. "Now slave, what are you good at?"

Jane took the handkerchief in her hand, applying pressure to her wound. "Nothing you're interested in..." She muttered, fiddling with the collar secured around her lower neck.

"I'm a servant, I do what servants do," Jane answered shortly. "I cook, I clean, I care for the animals and plants around the house....Master..." She finished with a pained expression.

He smiled. "That's more like what I expect from a slave." He looked at the clock. "Go cook us something. I have very high standards."

With a very strong will against tearing his head off where he stands, Jane bowed to her master and marched to the kitchen. She wasn't familiar where everything was, so she searched the fridge and cupboards for ingredients suitable for a gourmet meal. Once the ingredients were laid out on the counter, she went to work preparing the food.

He sat at the table, waiting. She was still too headstrong. He had already decided that he would hate the meal, no matter what she brought. That would mean punishment.
