Luke watched Jethrow leave quickly. He took the bowl full of the herbal medicine and had Lunnora take some of it. She was barely awake and it seemed to settle her a little. He sighed and tucked her in and pet her red hair softly. "Don't worry. You'll feel better soon, sister."

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow continued to read through books, flicking them away as soon as he'd discovered that the pages didn't hold the information he wanted. There were strange details about diseases that didn't work with the behavior exhibited by Lunora. It was fever, restlessness, and a strangely sickly aura that needed to be found; the first two were symptoms of almost every malady known to man. The last one, the aura, was odd and had yet to be mentioned once through all the books. Finally, out of desperation, he began to read various dark arts books he'd collected secretly; books that even Anya wasn't allowed near for fear her demonic side would be unleashed after all the work he'd put into sealing it away. Angrily, he flung all the books at the wall with a flick of his wrist.

Lunora woke after a while. She began to cough and gag, feeling something rising in her throat. Luke helped her roll over as she puked into a bucket he had ready for such occasion. She coughed hoarsely as Luke rubbed her back to soothe her. Her vomiting continued for a bit before she settled back down, going back into a listless sleep.

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Restlessly, Jethrow began to pace along the edges of the room. Finally, he thought to himself and looked at the nearly empty bookshelf on his left. There was a small, purple bound book that he'd only looked in once when Anya had first arrived, brimming with conflicting power that needed to be contained. Flicking his wrist, the book zoomed into his hands. He opened to a page and found the seal spell...and conjoining potion. He looked at the complex system. It would take the wizard days to create...but for Anya it would only be a matter of minutes. Quickly, he collected the ingredients necessary, having them follow him out of the study and into his room where he dropped them into a dry, empty cauldron that he floated ahead of him as he strode to Anya's room, knocking on the door urgently. A maid passed and he told her to tell Luke that he would be there in a moment with a remedy for Lunora. If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya jumped at the sound of the door being knocked on and she looked over at the creature; it was fast asleep. Quickly, she pulled her covers over it and ran to the door, opening it to be met by a cauldron. Jethrow began to read off potion instructions and ingredients flew into her hands as the cauldron put itself over her fire. Quickly, she started following her teacher's instructions, sometimes tilting her head and changing some of the directions without telling him. It was always easier to stir counter clockwise than clockwise and always better to put less nightshade than suggested. "How long does this have to boil?" she asked, only receiving a silencing glance from Jethrow. She tried explaining that she needed to know so she could perfect the measurements, but he told her there was no defined time and continued reading ingredients.

Luke nodded to the maid once she had delivered the message. He looked back to Lunora, her sleeping on her stomach. He rubbed her back softly, sighing. He worried for his little sister. "Everything will work out, Luna. Don't worry. Everything will work out."

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Finally, Anya looked at the potion and determined that it was as blue as it was gonna get. There was sweat beading on her forehead from kneeling by the burning fire for the last fifteen minutes; her hair was pulled back messily and was starting to fall down; and she still had no idea what was with Jethrow's attitude. While she'd been finishing up the potion, he had a maid fetch five spare eucalyptus-infused candles and a bowl of water. Once the supplies had been brought, he'd taken a vial of the unfinished potion and put three drops of water into it, shaking the potion and putting it away in his robes. Utterly confused, Anya found herself following her teacher down the hall, cauldron, candles, and water floating between them, into Lunora's room without even knocking. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow nodded quickly to Luke before directing the candles to sit in a circle around Lunora. They immediately lit themselves once they reached the edges of her aura, their flames turning from a healthy orange to a faint gray as they sat down. He then conjured two tables, one for the bowl of water to sit on and one for the potion. "Luke, Anya, I'll need you to stand back for now," he walked towards Lunora, reading through the instructions. It was a simple seal; all he needed to do was say the incantation and she should be contained, the candles would indicate so. He recited the words a few times to memorize before closing the book and placing it by Lunora's head. "Mackhi nolotus defirey mortog awonf," he said softly, and the candles, one by one, began to burn a healthy fire color. He gestured Anya forward and she brought a cup and ladle to the table with the potion, spooning out the correct amount and handing it to Jethrow, who had Lunora drink it, even though she was in an uneasy resting state. The flames began to burn brighter and higher, and he extinguished them swiftly, sending them out of the room. He put a hand on Anya's shoulder, steering her from the room and stopping by Luke before he left. "I'm under the impression that her fox spirit was becoming uneasy in its contained state. She'll be bed-sick for a few more days. The potion should be administered in place of daily meals." and with that, the two were gone. [OOC:]I would like to point out two things: 1. I love random plot twists... A lot 2. Jethrow forgot the book...

Luke nodded some, and looked to his sister, who was resting much easier. He set the potion where neither of them would knock it over and placed Jethrow's book next to it. He rolled her back onto her back and tucked her in. She deserved this peaceful sleep, but he wasn't going to leave her. He moved onto the other side of the bed and fell asleep. He was very tired from this whole ordeal.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya pushed the hair from her face, splashing water from a basin by her door over her forehead, and pulling off her boots and belt, curling up by the furnace-like creature snoozing on her bed and falling alseep instantly, her cheek resting on its scaly shoulder. She couldn't think further than those simple actions, after the stress of having to concoct the potion she'd just finished. Her last thought was how Jethrow had refused to let her see the recipe in the book. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow returned to his room, exhausted. Too much excitement was hard on him in his old age, and it took all of his remaining strength to properly go through his late-night routine. Laying comfortably in bed, he found that he could not rest long enough to sleep, and he lit a candle, pulling an old tome into his lap and flipping through the pages. Lately, there had been fear of a dragon threat in the nearby village, and he'd been researching peaceful methods to negotiate with the creatures. He knew that once they matured to a year and a half, they could communicate quite easily with magically gifted beings, but he wasn't sure if they'd be peaceful.

Luke woke the next morning, yawning deeply. He found his sister still asleep next to him, tucked under the covers. Luke got up and went out into the hall, going to get some breakfast for himself before seeing to Lunora.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. By breakfast time, Anya had been up for three hours, reading over spell books and potion books with Jethrow. It was getting harder and harder for him to find complicated potions for her to do, and the spells were getting more and more boring in her opinion. The two walked down a flight from where they were practicing in one of the ballrooms, walking into the dining hall right after Luke. Today was a quick buffet, with everything possible laid out along the table. A small pile of plates was there and Jethrow's and Anya's flew into their hands, of course. Anya walked forward, picking at the food. There would be a small break now and she needed to feed the creature in her room. And come up with a name for him. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow sighed as Anya merely picked at her food. Now she was losing her appetite at most meals. "How is your sister?" he asked Luke, sending his plate off ahead of him to get his food. He was worried that Anya's lack of hunger was due to the seal on her demon side, and if Anya's seal was malfunctioning, it was only a matter of time before the fresh seal on Lunora would begin to break as well. If the seals are loosening, something is working against them.

Luke collected some food, looking to Jethrow. "She's still asleep. But her fever isn't as bad as it was last night. I think she'll be better soon." he said, smiling in relief.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya heard Jethrow and Luke talking, but ignored it. It wasn't that she didn't care about Lunora, but she trusted Jethrow to take care of her. She found a maid and told her that she wasn't hungry again, but would like to take food to her room like the previous night. The maid began piling bacon, eggs, toast and such into the box and handed it to Anya, who left quickly, without a word. She went straight to her room, inside it, and began to put food onto a conjured plate so that it would be ready before the creature woke up so she herself could eat in peace. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow nodded, relieved immensely. "That is good to hear. Keep her in bed, but do make sure she has a little bit of solid food with the potion," with that, Jethrow followed after his plate, looking at what it had collected for him and sitting down for what was sure to be a solitary meal.

Luke nodded some. "I got her some bacon. Thanks for helping her." he said, smiling. He bid goodbye to Jethrow and headed back to his sister.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. The creature woke up at the smell of bacon, jumping down from Anya's bed and running over, sitting obediently and wagging his tale over the floor. Laughing, she pushed the food towards him, standing up holding the still pretty full box. She pulled a table and a chair from the corner of the room towards her, sitting down and having her own breakfast. "What kind of name would you like, little guy?" she asked, and the creature tilted his head at her. He clearly understood what she was saying, but for some reason she could never understand anything he tried to communicate. Sighing, she put her chin in her hand, chewing on a piece of bacon as the creature starting lapping up the water she'd put out. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow nodded to Luke as he left, sighing as he started to scoop food up with his fork. It looked like another long day of trying to find something that Anya could do. Though she had the potential, it seemed the only real power that her faerie side gave her was healing, and there was only so much Jethrow could do to hone those. He himself was not a healer; all he could do was make potions for the ill. If he really wanted to unlock Anya's powers, he would have to let her try and control her demon side. Which was too dangerous for the other tenants of the castle, and for Anya herself, to do so. The old wizard had experiences what dark power could do to the magic user's body, and their mind. The risk was not worth it.

Luke went up to Lunora, who was awake now. He smiled, letting her eat some bacon as he poured her some of the potion. "Do I have to drink that?" "Yes. Jethrow's orders." Luke said, giving it to her. She drank it obediently.
