I love Japanese snacks. I've tried some different snacks...some were strange to me. I loved the snacks anyway. Here's what I tried: 1. Dango. I love dango! I bought some at the Sakura Matsuri. 2. Ramune. I love the melon flavor ramune. 3. Botan. Rice paper candy. A friend of mine got me addicted to botan. 4. Mochi. I love mochi. My cousin told me to try it. It was delicious. 5. Calbee shrimp flavored chips. Shrimp flavored chips are yummy. 6. Hello Panda. A panda shape cookie with a chocolate or strawberry filling. 7. Koala’s March Cookies. They are like Hello Panda. 8. Pocky. I love pocky. 9. Bubble Milk Tea. Bubble milk tea goes by many different names. It's popular in Asian countries, Europe, Canada, and the United States. I see no one has mentioned bubble milk tea. I suggest everyone try it. It's a great drink and comes in many flavors. Just be careful of the chewy tapioca balls. Make sure to chew them. 10. Onigiri. 11. Different hard candies, gummies, and chocolates. 12. Different rice crackers. 13. Those mushroom cookies. They are like pocky, but they are small and look like little mushrooms. Kawaii!

...This is me we are talking about Freaky. Of course I've tried Japanese junk food. Though, surprisingly, when I was in Japan, I didn't have a single bit of sugar. Then of course, I saw all sorts of candy at the Airport when the group was getting ready to leave and I just *had* to get about $50 worth. Stupid me and eating candy on the plane when I hadn't had any in 2 weeks. The bathroom became my friend for a good solid 15-20 minutes. sweatdrop Overall though, I like the Japanese versions of sweets better than our own... most of the time. Probably because it's something different and I don't have it all the time.

I like pocky, rock candy, Okinawan donuts whee , Magic Koalas, Calbee shrimp flavored chips and vegetable flavor (I think it was), Hello Panda, rice crackers, watermelon ice cream (it had chocolate seeds in it) xd , chocobanana icecream, and "C.C. Lemon" soda. I also like the chocolate and gummies in Japan.
-sigh- Too bad, I can't get any of it where I'm living at now

an pan = love 4laugh
as for pocky since there's been so much discussion about it I think my favorite flavor has been pumpkin, but I also very much like the green tea ones, so maybe I'm not a very good gauge for flavor lol

I love Japanese candy, actually. Well, most of it. But American candy and junk food can be really bad too. I really like Hi-chew and Pucca! I love Pucca a ton. It's like Hello Panda but a lot better in my opinion. I really like the chocolate in them. I also like Pocky, but the melon flavor, my favorite, was discontinued. Oh! I also like Salad Pretz. They're delicious. Ramune'd good. I really, really like Geisha caramels. They're really more like toffee. I also like Yan-yan, especially the kind with the chocolate sticks and vanilla dip.
Tomorrow I'll be trying some more stuff too. I'm getting a bunch of candy from Asian Food Grocer for my birthday and I get it tomorrow.

I like what I've tried, but that probably doesn't mean a ton because I just love sweets. I'll probbaly like everything, or at least most of it. ^^ Lacus_And_Kira Ramune soda, green tea ice cream, pocky and bubble milk tea are so delicious. I really want to try wagashi (Japanese sweets) when I get the opportunity to go to Japan as they look so good~ heart Mmm, bubble tea. We have an excellent Japanese restaurant nearby where I live, and it's the best. Of course, I get bubble teawhile I'm there getting REAL Ramen.
