Mayo looked at Dre, her head still down as he reassured her. She sighed softly - almost unrecognizable, in relief. Foot steps sounded louder in the direction of where Dre was. Lifting her head, eyes wide, unprepared, she took a step back, but thought, 'If i want to get any closer to my goal, then.. I shouldn't be scared.. No matter WHO it might be.' Standing her ground, he held on to her hands, looking at her as if he was looking THROUGH her, and uttering some words which made her blush slightly.
Repeating the words in her head over a couple of times, Mayo confused her self before snapping out of the thinking, and back in to reality. "Won't won't....Pinky promise you won't ever over work yourself?" Tightening her grip on his hands.

Koji began to snoop around as if looking for something important when in fact he hadn't a clue as to what that may be. "I wish there was some cool stuff in here... All I see is old books" He sighed

Dre paused, he noticed his mistake that sounded like less of a mistake and more like a double negative. He didn't bother to call attention to it though to keep the conversation moving. Dre stood up straight as Mayo tightened the grip on his hands, his smile still apparent. "I pinky promise that I won't over work myself." He repeated to her, making sure to only say won't once. He once again noticed Mayo's blushing, but didn't call any attention to it, almost known that it would cause her to blush even more. Dre paused as he looked into Mayo's eyes, but while looking her heard rustling sound, but cast the sounds aside in his mind for the moment.

Mayo held out her pinky in front of her face, gesturing him to do the same. "For reassurance.." She said, hoping he'd do it; looking in to his eyes, then taking a quick glance over her shoulder as she heard faint movements before looking back over at Dre.

As my held up her pinky, Dre paused, but only for a short period of time; thinking to himself that is had been a long time since he had done this. He nodded lightly. "Ok." He did the same and held out his pinky, locking it with hers. "Pinky promise." He said without any hesitation, a smile still on his face.

Mayo also locked her pinky with Dre's as both of theirs intertwined together. "Pinky promise" She said after him, smiling and tightening her grip a little. Letting her pinky go after a good few seconds, she looked over her shoulders again, "About him..?" She said, glancing over at Dre, waiting for a reply.

Dre let go of her pinky too after a while. He looked back to the door as he paused. "Hm, maybe we should go and see what he wants.." Dre said as he thought to himself. "If he actually does want something." She still held onto Mayo's hand as he made his way over to door.

Mayo nodded her head as Dre spoke. Her hands gripping his as they moved towards the door, looking for the intruder. She glanced to both of her sides, not because she was scared, but because she's a very cautious person.

Dre pull open the door and stepped out of his office. He paused, what ever was making the sound had seemed to stop, which only made him wonder what to source of the noise was even more. He didn't speak to loudly as he spoke again, still listening for another sound to follow. "We should wait.. See if we can hear it again." He had general area in mind, but with another noise he could almost pin point the location.

Mayo stood behind Dre. Her eyes shut, listening to the noise that had suddenly stopped, give Mayo a fright for some reason. Jumping a little more as Dre spoke, she froze in her spot, coming back to reality after a few seconds. "Ahh.. Yeah. Okay" She whispered back.

After a long pause of silence Dre noticed that the noise had seemed to stop. He sighed lightly as he looked back to Mayo and smiles. "Well it seems as if whatever was causing the noise has disappeared." Dre said with a smile.

Mayo smiled back, her cheeks a light baby pink. "Yup, has disappeared," She uttered. "For now..." She added, muttering to herself as if she was paranoid.

He finally found himself in a room that seemed to have a large trunk in the middle of it. Sure the rest of the room was covered in books like the last couple. "Finally, something worth looking at" His face lit up with a grin and his eyes lit up as his hands rubbed together deviously.

Dre paused as he finally realized he had exited his office. The last thing he would want to go would be to go back into his room and get bogged down with all that paper work. He would much rather use his now found time doing something that he would enjoy. He pauses as he hears the rumbling noises again, but he had completely cast them out of his mind. He looked out of a near by window and then looked back to Mayo. "It's so stuffy in here.. Hows about we get a little fresh air?" He said to her with a smile.
