"Well you know Darkness isn't really a bad thing at all. everyone has a bit of darkness in them, some just have more than others.... but when you fight the darkness thats when you struggle... Makyo NagareboshiBlack Cross (Human Form)Her voice was soothing and calmling, but what she was saying... it wasn't correct to Makyo, so he tried to cal himself the rest of the way down. Makyo put his hand down, as the moment was definitely ruined. He wanted to leave, but with her here... he didn't know what to do. He said back to her, still looking down " Then I willnot accept your help. Madness is lost reason. Insanity is a lost mind. I learned that from my best friend, and the one who was there for me first than anyone else... Kora. I do embrace my darkness because I use it for good. What happened to you...? You weren't like this when I fought you. I fell in love with whom I fought, but this isn't that person anymore..." Makyo said speaking his mind. " Makyo... you are right to not want my help.... and you are right for wanting to use your darkness for good....." Rachel told him as she thought of an answer to his question. "What happened to me was what i told you before.... the thing thats effected me the most was the death of my older brother.... since learning that i guess ive been leaning more towards the darkness than the light.... but lately ive learned to control and harness my darkness, allowing me to be my own self with no worries...." Rachel told him calmly as she stared at the now setting sun. "And i fell in love with whom i fought as well...." Makyo said as he saw the sun setting and he stood up from the tree branch trying to find balance by holding on tothe base of the tree, and said " The man you seek is in a slumber. I will not allow him to awaken." Now that the sun was about to set was the time to sleep, so he could wake up early the next day and train. "Well the past is the past..." Rachel said to his remark about her brother. when he told her that the person was in a slumber she was puzzled for a moment before she figured out what he meant. He simply looked downward to see a way down, and said to Rachel " I'm having the best time without him. Anyway, my offer still stands on what I said if you want to sleep in my classroom. After climbing all of the way up the giant tree with Conner, Faith was slightly out of breath and was now relying on Conner to keep her standing. "Didn't expect it to be this tiring... I need to run more..." But then she saw the beautiful view, they were so high up! But that was bad, Faith was terribly afraid of heights. Suddenly, she stiffened up a bit. "Uh... Conner... Do we have to be so high?"

When Aveline began getting tired, Conner didn't mind at all that she was using him to stay up. Conner was perfectly fine, he was a traveler at heart and he was used to walking for days on end. So trekking up a tree was nothing for him. But Conner smiled when Aveline stiffened up when she saw how high they were. "Not afraid of heights are you, Aveline?" He said with a grin. "I thought you aren't afraid of anything."

Conner's teasing only made Aveline grab onto Conner's arm tight, "I just don't feel safe so high in the air, I like my feet on firm and steady ground."
