Zane walked inside the bar, his revolver fully loaded and his katana in place. He spotted several others at the bar including Arete, but really he wanted a drink to himself. Zane sat down at the opposite end of the bar and nodded his head to the bartender. "Long Island," Zane told him as the bartender nodded to him and prepared his drink

"Well, I hope you're right and wish you the best." Arete said, trying to cheer Rachel up. "Actually you might want to check that large ship that everybody's been talking about, the Spire. I hear it was suddenly created right after Uuma's destruction, and its a safehaven for rogues. Maybe your brother went there?"

Zane finished his drink and tipped the bartender. His ears were piqued with interest upon hearing of a large ship. The thought of finding it brought about his curious mind, for Zane himself was a rogue long before arriving in Kusana. Standing upright, Zane waved to Arete goodbye, being polite and stepped out of the bar. Taking in a deep breath, Zane leapt from branch to brach as he headed towards the clearing. He suspected the Queen to be there.

 Rank: Trainee ≈≈≈ Energy: 438 ≈≈≈ Seer The smell hit her as the food was finally brought to their table. "Mmmm," was all Liliana managed before shredding into her plate. Aura almost perfectly mimicked Liliana with her own plate. Both ate in the silence that comes from not having a decent meal in some time.

Arete smiled a little as Liliana and her cute pet ate their food quietly. "And what about you, Liliana?" he addressed her. "Is there anybody you're searching for?"

My first real solid memory was when those bards..." Liliana couldn't finish. She didn't want them to know about that. They might be out to get rid of run-away liabilities like herself.

Taking a bite and chewing slowly, Liliana felt ready to speak again. "I want to assume the bards had what I needed to survive whatever killed the village. So I was lucky in that regard. Then I jumped from home to home until I finally said enough and came to Nocturne."

Arete lightly rubbed his chin with a small smile and nodded with Liliana's comment about the bards. "Hmm...well the power of music is indeed strong, I'll admit." He allowed himself a slight chuckle before glancing back at her. "Still, growing up without any parents must've been hard. Are you sure your entire family was killed in that attack?"

Liliana finally caught onto Arete's comment about the bards' music. "I'm not sure music is what healed me but then, you wouldn't expect Seers and Demons to be running around, would you?" Liliana finished her steak and probed to find out if Aura was done. All that got her was a nipped finger.

"Heh, I guess not." Arete sad, taking it how sad Liliana's past seemed. He sympathized with her pain. "But hey thats what makes the world fun. You never know whats around the next corner. What may seem impossible one day becomes possible the next." Arete smiled cheerfully at her, even if she couldn't see it. "I'm a bard myself ya know. If you'd like I can play a song for you."

Arete blushed and started to shift away from her at first, but then caught himself and instead moved closer to her. "Y-You really want to do that here? W-Well we are in public after all. But if you're into that kinda thrill I guess I can go along with it." He said shyly before he started to undo his zipper.
