Air Arete didn't seem to catch onto the fact that River had used his last name, but Luna did. She stood there and watched and when it seemed like the girl was asleep she stepped up behind him. "I don't think you've met this girl before. So how did she know your last name?" Luna looked over to Arete before leaning in a little and sniffing the girl. The body odor told her she had indeed been through a lot.
Rubbing her nose lightly, she looked back to him. "She's definitely telling the truth though." She sighed lightly. "I feel bad for her." She didn't have to explain why. Luna had dealt with her own trials which left scars that covered her body.
The Kiranu's white ears perked up as she turned and looked to Zane. He looked different but she knew his scent. "Ah! Zane, glad to see you're alright! Oh um..yeah..Mind healing my bruises, the stab wound from the Charlie and now the deep gash caused by the scalpel that girl has? Wait a minute!"
Luna walked over to the scalpel and picked it up. But she didn't stop there. She grabbed pretty much every other sharp or blunt object in the room that could be used as a weapon. Even the pens and pencils. The female took them out and into another room before returning.
"Alright. Now if she wakes up I don't have to take the hit for Arete."

"Oh come on...you think a couple of Charlies can defeat me? Actually I should probably say defeat you, since I was fighting as you were...a Kiranu Berserker. I am only as strong as the people I copy, therefore, never let anyone tell you that you are weak Luna. Cause frankly, if it wasn't your power, I wouldn't have been able to fight on equal footing with those beasts," Zane explained to her. The fact of the matter was, without the ears and nose of the Kiranu, and Luna's skills...he wouldn't have put up much of a fight in the darkness of the mines. As Zane prepared himself to heal her, he watched her curiously as she took out all sharp and blunt objects out of the room. "Anyways....MINOR HEAL!" Zane exclaimed as both his hands began flaring up with white energy. Zane placed his right atop of her wound on her arm, while his left was placed atop of the stab wound. Letting his energy flow inside Luna's body, the cloth that was wrapped around Zane began swirling around him as he began closing up her wounds.

Description: Being one of the focuses of the Clerics, healing is very simple to them and using the Paladin's minor heal takes less effort for them. It is basically the same skill. Minor heal requires for you to touch the person with your palm.

"Maybe her mind told her?" Fenrir jokingly replied to Luna as he strummed a few notes on his guitar. He played a very gentle and pleasant lullaby for River. Arete glanced at the sleeping girl and softly smiled. "You see a lot of yourself in her, don't you?" he continued saying to Luna. "Your past, I mean."

Air Luna continued speakin to Fenrir as Zane healed up her wounds. "I do. Although her mental state is fragile right now. Speaking from personal experiance, she'll be feeling drawn to you since your the one that calmed her down. She's looking for a friend, someone who can help her out and protect her. And since you've already done that, she'll more than likely be attaching herself too you. Quite frankly, I'm surprised she was able to calm down. Whatever was done to her left deep mental scars. Make sure you don't bring her up next to someone you think is going to abuse her or say something rude. Otherwise she might do what I did: Flip out and murder someone."
Luna turned her attention back to Zane. Arete had hit it right on the mark. She did see a lot of herself in River. Mental scars that would never heal, probably some physical ones too...and that empty feeling. Feeling worthless, weak, and scared. Though, Luna was the type to cover those feelings up with a rough exterior. No doubt River would be the same way until she felt completely safe around him.
"Thanks Zane. I really needed that." Luna undid the makeshift bandage she had over her arm and tossed it into the garbage. She leaned her head back slightly and looked to Arete once more. "I say we take her with us. When we go to Nocturne. What do you think?"

"Anytime," Zane responded to her as he sat back down on a chair and sighed. Frankly he was exhausted. He has depleted a lot of energy during his fight with the Charlies, the transformations, and all the healing. Looking over at the girl curiously, he then placed his hands behind his head and leaned back on the chair in a relaxed position. "So you two are going to Nocturne? I'd be careful if I were you...Lumira is not one of the safest places in the world. Have your wits about you or else I won't be seeing you again," Zane warned them. Having walked and traveled through Nocturne in his wandering days, Zane knew that it was home to lycans and vampires alike.

Air "I've got a bad history with Lycans and Vampires. I'm really going for two reasons: One is to prove that I'm not a coward to Arete over there and the second is to see if Arete is right about them not being all bad. We'll see how this works out for us. Besides I want to explore someplace new. I dislike staying in one spot for too long." She looked over to Zane who seemed tired.
"You used up a lot of energy didn't you? Maybe you should just lay down and go to sleep for a little bit. It can't hurt ya right?"

"You and I are similar in that, neither of us like staying in one place. Unfortunately, traveling the world can get tiring and lonely. That's why I decided to settle down," Zane told her. "Whatever your reasons are, you still owe me a meal, so you better come back alive in order to feed me," Zane laughed as he kept his position, his eyes still closed. She was right, he should lie down and sleep. But he should be fine for a couple of hours. "I'll be fine, don't mind me...you should worry about your own health."

"She'll be relying on me." Arete muttered as he watched River sleep. She looked so peaceful while she slept, and yet this was a person who'd suffered a past just as brutal as Luna's? He glanced back at his friend. "In that case then I think you're right. We should take her and move on out of here. Ah! Actually before we leave though." Arete turned his attention to Zane, the strange man Luna had been talking with. "You must be that shapeshifter Luna was talking about, right? Do you know any useful skills I might be able to learn? I'm pretty inexperienced myself."

"Huh?" Zane asked as he opened his eyes, paying attention to Arete for the first time. "Yeah, I am. You must be the guy Luna's been traveling with...the one that's alright and not the pain in the a**," Zane pointed out as he remembered Luna's explanation of the two she was traveling with back in Pine Creek. "Technically...I know tons of skills...but it all depends on what class and element you are. From the way you play that instrument you must be a Bard. And I gotta say...you play it so well it was actually pretty soothing. What's your element? Or do you have a special bloodline?" Zane asked him

Air "No problem. I don't die easily so I'll be back before ya know it." Luna smiled to Zane and gave him a thumbs up before looking to Arete. "If you're gonna train with him then I'll start heading off right now. This will be good too. I think that River might feel threatened by me since we got off on the wrong foot. You can try to explain things to her on your way there. How about I meet you at the graveyeard in Luimira? It should be a pretty nice spot where very few people go so I'll wait for you two there alright?"
Luna smiled to Arete as she got ready to go. "And don't worry, I won't start any fights."

Raphael entered what seemed to be a hospital of sorts, and looked around for any other signs of people. And indeed, he found some. Some strange blue haired boy, a girl with... cat ears? And some other dude. ''What an odd place...'' He whispered to himself, and although he was curious, he simply sat down, and basically.. eavesdropped on the others.

"Well, we better hurry then...I don't have much time in this form to be able to teach you. You're in luck...my element at the moment is wind," Zane told him as his mind began rummaging through the wind elemental skills he can perform. "First outstretch your hand and let your energy flow through it. Use the energy you're expelling to bring the wind towards you, suctioning the air in order to bring people or things. It's fairly useful and it costs more energy to bring people towards you. The other skill is an Air Punch, compressed formations of air that are fired off your fists. Make sure to use your energy and gather it at your hands.

Description: A technique used to bring people or things towards the Elementalist. Though pulling people is going to cost as a C rank and if higher rank they can choose to resist your pull.

Description: air punches or air kicks are small, compressed formations of air that can be fired off the fists or feet of an Elementalist. It’s commonly used in rapid succession

Arete glanced at Luna. "Nocturne? Have you been there before? How do you know there's a graveyard?" he asked curiously.
Then he glanced at the fellow shapeshifter. "Actually I already know the wind skills. sweatdrop More specifically what I wanted to know is how to copy someone more thoroughly. I can copy different appearances, but thats the extent of my knowledge."

Air "If there is no graveyard then what do they do with their dead? There has to be something like that there. Not everyone there is a vampire. From what I've heard it's a real mixing pot of people. So they'd either have to have a graveyard, or just eat the bodies. And despite my opinion of them at the moment, I doubt anyone is cruel enough to just toss a body and leave it to rott. But in the off chance you're right and there isn't one, just come look for me in a dark and spooky place."
Luna smiled and waved to him. "Be there soon! And don't forget to bring River!" The female turned and dashed out, nearly running into the kid who was eavesdropping. Her large white ears twitched as she eyed him before gently moving past him. "Don't just stand there like an idiot kid! If you've got somethin to say then say it but listening in on other's conversations without joining in is just creepy..." She turned her head and muttered the word 'Weirdo' as she headed off.
