Cool? Did she really think that? Him acting like a beast was cool? Lennox was not certain what to think of that. He supposed it was a good thing that she was not disturbed or thought badly of him. So perhaps it was not too bad after all. So long as she did not expect him to go all feral on command or anything. That would have been seriously embarrassing. The more he thought about it, the more he was able to calm himself and reassure himself that there was nothing wrong with him. Babies bit after all right? Just because his teeth were sharper meant nothing. It was just a survival thing.

"You were...pretty cool yourself." Lennox murmured after getting the odd little thumbs up gesture from Revi. Seeing her sigh in such a way made him think back to the girls from his school. They often put up such little acts too when they were not really upset. Lennox felt his wings hanging looser on his shoulders as he relaxed some more.

"If mice are your favorite perhaps we can split it then. You want the head or the tail?" He gently teased Revi as he moved to a door and pushed it open. Hnn. No. The lock on this door was completely wrecked. To say nothing of the room itself. Revi began to talk again...and Lennox wondered if perhaps he had missed something somewhere.

Len glanced up as Revi began to just...vomit verbally. Perhaps she was the sort, when upset, just kept talking in order to keep her mind from focusing on what was really bothering her? "Well. I am sure we'll find a place with a working shower. If not I can always take you to the girls showers? I think there is a public one on this floor..."

"What? Weirdo? What nubs?" Without thinking, his wings twitched and he glanced at the one on the left. He kept hoping that someway the cut off piece of flimsy membrane would grow back. He may not have ever used his wings, but it sort of irritated him to have one of them damaged. It was sort of like having a perfect set of something, then someone scratching one of them.

Lennox's tail twitched as he looked at Revi awkwardly. Just what had she meant? By the context Lennox had thought that it had been a compliment. Hadn't she just sort of implied that she trusted him? AH...but as she explained herself his head began to bob up and down slightly. "I think I follow what you mean Revi. You don't mean trust as in a sort of personal trust, but more like a professional. You've never 'worked' with me before so you don't know if I will pick up on your subtle signals, like someone you have worked with before right?" Lennox formed a faint smile and gestured down a side hall as a indication they ought to turn. "Well for future reference I'll remember you prefer to stay and beat someone senseless, so long as you try to remember I prefer to run and hide?"

Hearing her jesting so easily about eating a mouse made Lennox want to tell her about his own experience. Chuckling softly though he let it go. She didn't need to know he'd actually eaten a mouse due to hunger after being lost here a few days. "Well, either way if you prefer I will stand guard and make certain no one sneaks up on you while you wash off if you'll do the same for me?" He found himself snickering softly at the visual image Revi's description of someone coming in on them though. "Oh, I am sure that if we found the perfect room like that there would be a secure lock on it too. Speaking of which, When I go scavenging I will keep an eye out for working locks if you will do me a favor and look for nails?"

Nubs..what -could- she possibly mean by that? Lennox watched her bounce ahead so merrily and shook his head at her. It was nice to see that there was still some light heartedness down here. "Hey now, wait up!" He called as he picked up his pace with a grin. "The girls showers are two halls up and then a turn to the left."

Lennox was glad that he understood what she had meant, and in turn that his acceptance of her feelings made her smile. Lennox grinned faintly and flicked his tail upwards in a little flourish Having her call him clever also helped a bit to improve his mood and self image a bit. He could almost forget the terror and the unsettling feeling of biting that man earlier. "Well! I rather like the chipper attitude you have. So I guess we both have things that we like about each other then." Lennox cheerfully replied despite the fact Revi was clearly making more noise now then when he had hushed her before.

"Hmm. I suppose I could settle on that." Lennox mused. "I mean, it would be easier to run away if he was having trouble telling up from down." He doubted Daniel would have had any problems with that brute below at all. In fact...he was willing to bet the guy would have taken one look at him and backed off. Lennox ran a hand over his upper arm and gently squeezed the muscle as he compared it to how Daniels probably felt. Lennox allowed Revi to ramble a bit for a moment, though as she questioned him why he needed nails he shrugged his shoulders and cast his gaze down the hall.

"Daniel and I are merging two rooms into one and he thinks we should nail the second door shut. I sort of agree with him, as two entries will only make it easier for a person to creep in on us." Chuckling his lifted his hands and raised them at her. "I don't think I'd have the confidence to use any sort of weapon. My only skill is..ah... Not impressive at all." Revi chose to speed up her pace then, and Lennox hurried up his own to keep pace with her. As they reached the hall, Lennox pointed to a door and spoke up. "There we go! That one! I'll stand out here while you shower okay?"

"I will admit I am looking forwards to the extra space." Lennox replied with a brighter note to his voice. "I'll have a place to keep my things, a nice tidy space where Daniels underwear will not be flopped willy nilly. Once we find kitchen things we'll really make great use of the kitchen too!" He paused though and found his brows knitting as Revi would mention the 'opinion' of the Asylum.

"Well, if it disapproves it has not done anything to shop it yet." He mused, then flushed darkly. Well...darker then his cheeks normally were. Playing House? Cute? Daniel would have grumbled had he heard that for certain! "I...I ah..." He murmured and flicked his tail against the backs of his legs.

It went without saying that Lennox's cheeks were grateful when Revi vanished into the girls locker room. He crossed his arms in front of himself and turned to face out into the hall with his back to the door. Lennox doubted that there was anyone lurking around here now, but he would rather be diligent and ensure Revi was not accosted while in a vulnerable state...or would it be? Lennox tilted his head as he murmured thoughtfully. "Actually..she probably wouldn't bat an eye." He mused aloud to himself. Revi seemed too bold to care if some threatening person was trying to stand her down in the nude...it was odd but...she sort of reminded him of Daniel in that way. Feeling somewhat more content with his role as guardian of the girls locker room door, Lennox twisted about as he heard it open. "Done alr---ack!" He blinked and grabbed at the cloths thrust at him. Looking down at them, he felt his wings fluttering behind his back. Stupid wings! "R-right!" He spoke to the closed door. Lennox turned and closed his eyes as a naughty urge came over him. "I will not paw through them. I will not paw through them. I will not paw through them." He muttered like a mantra under his breath.

It took a great deal of Lennox's self control not to finger through Revi's belongings. He never realized how much of a snoop he was. He was certain it was just curiosity. It wasn't like he wanted to steal from her. No...no...He was not that sort of person. All the same, the type of person he was had broken out into a faint sweat by the time that pale arm pushed the door open. Lennox's tail ceased it's agitated snapping back and forth as he peered with clearly large and surprised eyes at the image before him.

The male in him could not stop looking at Revi's chest as she bounced, and his cheeks turned so dark a black he was certain it was reaching up to his ears. His tail stiffened into a rather strait stick like position behind him. So...that was how it had looked to Daniel...he could see now why his room mate and perceived protector had such a hang up about them...he would have to let Daniel know that Revier had a very fine form...

Her distress though helped click his mind from such blushing thoughts. "Ah! You have goosebumps all over Reverie. Was your shower cold? I...do not have..." He glanced at his dirty vest unhappily, then shifted all of Revi's cloths under one arm. He reached out with the other towards her bare arm. "Here. This is a trick I learned at camp. Let me wipe the extra water drops from your arms and legs. It will help get you dry at least. I am so sorry. I should have thought of this in advance...OH! I have an idea!" Lennox's eyes brightened then. "Come. Let's get to the kitchen. I can get you inside, and it's far warmer, and there are paper towels there!"

"We really need to find you a proper room...with a lock and a working bathroom. Maybe if we found some tools I could try and fix one of them up. I'm good with my hands." Lennox murmured softly under his breath. He paused and glanced up and down the halls as he considered his answer, then replied. "I do think it would get very hot here Revi...I will ask Daniel though. He has been here longer and would know better then I. If it does get hot...well...maybe a room with a window too? Or do you think that is all just too much to hope for?"

Lennox kept a guard now on Revi. By that, it meant he was careful not to let his eyes drop below her chin. Lennox was not certain how he could explain, or how Revi would respond, if she caught him studying her chest. "I...I like your hair...as it is...and you know...if this place get's real cold later, long hair would be a blessing?" Lennox offered with a faint smile while she took her cloths back.

Lennox glanced over himself and cringed slightly. "I...I do need to get these washed but...you know..I can do that back in my room with Daniel. I'm sure I can borrow a pair of his shorts while I wash my cloths..and he has a working bathroom...so I'll wash up there. I'm more worried about you. You can't get a cold Revi. There is no medicine and...and I would feel really guilty if you got sick." He watched Revi as she would wrap herself with the feathers..and while it did help some..he still worried a little...until she mentioned his tail.

Lennox glanced back behind him and quickly grabbed at the stiff appendage. "N-nothing!!"

"You were brave enough to at least pick out a room." Lennox spoke while examining the tufted tip of his tail. "I was too afraid to chose a room and be alone. I practically begged Daniel to let me spend the night in his." Lennox's eyes lifted a little as he hazarded a faint smile. "I am not really a go-to guy..but I've always had smart hands. I really am better at making trinkets. However, I would not mind trying to help you out. I may be able to figure out how things need to be fixed and discover a useful talent or something."

Lennox found himself...awkwardly glancing away from Revi as she would start to talk to the feathered ornament in her hands. He felt embarrassed for some reason. Maybe it was because she seemed to be acting so odd towards the object. Talking to it as if it could understand her and all. Lennox was relieved when Revi chose to talk to him again rather then her ornament. His eyes flickered over towards her hair and he gave a faint nod of his head. "They sound like they were mean... I can't say I really had that problem myself. I was ignored a lot...but I do remember getting it caught in car doors or zippers. It hurt and I did not like it at all, but I hated sitting still long enough to have it trimmed short. Something about scissors makes me very very uneasy." He admitted with a shrug of his shoulders.

Having Revi compliment him in such a way was...very nice. Lennox felt the tip of his tail flick and he ducked his head to hide his cheeks behind his streaked hair. He chose not to respond to her comment concerning his kindness, and instead watched her dance like antics. "I would be afraid to meet a nurse. All I've heard is terrible things about the people in charge." He admitted. It was good she had a strong immune system. So long as he stayed away from anything that made him sigh he was sure he'd be fine as well. Lennox drew up short when Revi stood nearly toe to toe with him. He glanced at the tail he was holding and nearly bit the tip of his tongue. He caught himself though, his teeth were no longer the dull edged ivory's anymore after all. "I'm of mixed feelings concerning the tail I have. It seems to have a life of it's own and tends to betray how I'm feeling at times. It's a liability as it can get grabbed, and I've shut it in so many doors already. Yet I'm glad it's not a dragging one, because it would get so filthy...and since I've gotten it I haven't been nearly as clumsy as I used to be. It just seems very...very....gay."

His roomie.... Lennox's eyes shifted off down the hall as he found himself, not uncommonly, thinking of Daniel. "Daniel has made mentions. But it is just in jest Reverie. I suppose his jokes have only served to make me self conscious about it. I mean, my hair and wings are pretty...brilliant for a boy. Don't you think?"

He paused for a moment, then pointed towards a pair of doors halfway down a hall sectioning off the one they were walking down. "There is the kitchen. I'll warn you now, the food can be downright frightening. I wouldn't suggest eating more then small bits at a time until you get used to this..stuff they try feeding us. But there should be plenty of paper towels and such here."

(My apologies for the long break and then shoddy reply. I'm still sick and trying to get back into the swing of RP and Lennox is just the one that appeals most to me for that purpose ^_^'' )
