Alex blushed slightly, "I do have it under control most of the time. I've only let it slip once accidentally, and once on purpose because I was battling it, finally, for dominant control... That's what the recent incident was about."

"That's why I'm here," Alex sighed, slumping slightly against the wall, "I managed to conquer it, but it's not fully in my control... She's the side of me that's the nephilim. When I conquered it, I actually broke a wall that my mother, a friendly demon, created to separate the two personas when I was born..."
She shook her head, "The final battle against it will be in two days less than a year from now... I have to master both my own and the nephilim's powers in all this time before I can have full control of her."

Rabbeka looked at the girl She sighed and put her sword on the table again. She undid her necklace and handed it to alex. "Here. This will give you full control over it. To help you learn how to. Wear it, and you gain control."

Alex took the necklace and stared at it.
"You sure you don't need it or anything?" she asked, a bit hesitant in doing so.

Alex nodded, "Alright. Thank you."
In her conscience, it was like Xela was being merged with Alex, though none of her own actions were working at all as she tried to break free.
'Grahh! That infernal necklace!'
Alex smiled. She tested herself...
Her eyes changed to black from their glowing blue, and she became taller, her hair wild. She was suddenly cloaked in shadows, and her skin was pure white. Her wings elongated to that of a fully matured angel, one being white and the other being black. She smiled, though it was evil in intent.
"It... Works."

Several minutes after Alex fell asleep, quiet murmuring could be heard:
"... Can't... Stop it... Won't leave Haydn... Behind..."
'Alex... Stop murmuring, you're gonna scare people.' an annoyed Xela voiced in Alex's mind.
'... Xela... Nightmare...'
'Ugh,' Xela sighed. She softly kicked Alex.
Suddenly the murmuring stopped.

Lucy walked in and looked around. She twirled the cross necklace she had wrapped around her finger. "Hello? I'm looking for an alex." Lucy called out.
