Kandrix "If that's even possible," Kandrix replied as he poked his head out of the kitchen, looking around the main room. "Where'd Fate go?" He'd been too focused on his search in the pantry to hear the conversation. ((Out Of Control: Sucks her computer broke))

Xebraxis laughed a bit "true to true." he said putting the rest of the ingredients into the chicken and than placing it in the oven. "Alright now just have to wait for three hours before its done." he said grabbing the mushrooms "Allright now to the appetizers." he said cutting the stumps off of the mushrooms.
(sucks, and their called stumps right? i can never remember. XP)

Kandrix Kandrix looked at the bed and saw Bliss and Blaze still frolicking happily. "Odd..." he mumbled, "Thought she never left her side..." Shrugging helplessly, he spun around and leaned heavily on the door frame. Xebraxis looked over at Kandrix when he finished chopping one of the stumps "Where all the Anubis came from, Egypt." he said turning back to continue chopping the mushrooms. "Well the mushrooms are almost done." he said grabbing a tray to place each mushroom on. He placed each one on the tray a few centimeters apart and put a piece of crab meat on each mushroom than covering it in cheese. "How do they looks so far?" he asked going to the fridge to get a stick of butter.

Kandrix "Oh," Kandrix said, undecided of whether he should be insulted or embarrassed. "I'm not yet familiar with the surface world, I spent most of my time wandering aimlessly. To be honest, this is the longest I've stayed in one place since fl- leaving the Underdark." When Xebraxis walked over to the fridge, Kandrix stretched out his head a little to get a better view of the mushrooms. "For surface cuisine, they don't look too bad."

"Oh well sorry if i embarrassed you then." he said placing the cheese over the crab meat. "The under dark... is that like the underworld? and thanks its something i picked up on my travels." he said placing the tray of mushrooms into the oven with the cooking chicken.

Kandrix "The Underdark is a vast, cavernous network hidden away beneath the surface world." His eyes glinted with pride as he spoke. "It is as large and as culturally diverse as the surface wold; but not even your blackest nights compare to the darkness that is... was my home." He paused for a moment, reflecting on his decision to leave the Underdark. "It is home to the most vicious, maniacal, cunning, deceitful, and ultimately dangerous creatures you will ever come across; lest you venture into the Shadowrealm, or the Infinite Layers of the Abyss." A chill swept through the room as the last words rolled off his tongue. ((Out Of Control: I could go one for ages xd ))

Xebraxis looked over at Kandrix "Interesting... all i can say is that that is partly like the under world same monsters and all except the underworld is endless." he said shivering a bit "Is it me or did it get a little chilly in here?"

Kandrix Lekri, finished with the biscuit, scurried down into Kandrix's pocket as he pulled his coat around him a little tighter. "I felt it too..." he said as he pondered for a moment. "Perhaps your under world is the Abyss, only a different name? That is a place even us Drow fear, though rarely will we admit it. No mortal should take the Abyss lightly, I have heard that even the dead do not linger."

Xebraxis thought for a moment "Ya i guess you can say that." he said when a "ding!" went off from the oven. opening the oven once more but pulling out the chicken with the smell going through the room. "The chicken is ready." he said grabbing a couple of plates from a shelf. "Yes not even the dead linger in the underworld only gods and demons." he said now grabbing the forks and knifes. "Well help yourself to whatever you like." he said cutting one of the legs and putting it on his plate.

Kandrix When Xebraxis opened the oven, Kandrix's eyes went wide. "That smells GOOD!" he said. Then all emotion slowly drifted from his face as he slowly made his way to the bench and picked up his plate. "Forgive me, I have become terribly homesick. Leaving, was not easy."

Xebraxis looked over at Kandrix "Thanks." he said with a smile "Its alright ive been away from home for a long time as well." he said passing him a large knife "Here cut yourself a piece." he said when another "Ding" went off "Looks like the mushrooms are done." he said getting up and opening the oven once more.

Kandrix Taking the knife, Kandrix cut off a leg and a wing and put them onto his plate. When he took a bite of the leg his eyes widened. "Oh, that's good!" he barely finished speaking before taking another bite.
