First: CID HIGHWIND!!!!!
Second: Vincent Valentine a.k.a. father of Sephiroth
Third: RedXIII/Nanaki!!!
And there you have it. I didn't like Cloud all to much because he's the main character. I like the little guys that actually pull the team through. I don't know how many times Cid had to use Life on Cloud.

My favorite characters in FF7 were Cloud, Vincent, and Sephiroth. Vincent because he's cool and I like dark brooding types. Cloud was the main character and a seriously messed up one at that. In being so screwed up, he is cool. And I know Seph is not a playable character, but he's as cool as Vincent, as screwed up as Cloud, and a dark brooding type. Seph is my favorite character in FF7.
