Juniperus looked at the crowd and back at Kari, "Nice to meet you...My name is...Juniperus." He said slowly. People were always freaked out by how strange his name was. He looked back at the group of people who still watched, "Come on guys...theres nothing to see here..." He walked towards them waving his arms through the air making them move back.

After a majority of the people had left, Kari stooped to pick up her sandwhich out of the water. Well, what had been her sandwich. She sighed, and walked over to the nearest wastebin. She tossed it in, then sat on the fountain once more.
"So, Juniperus," she said slowly, making sure she got his name right, "are there any job openings around here?" she asked, and wrung out her ponytail.

Juniperus looked up in thought and heard the light bulb above his head click, "Yeah, I work as a waiter by a nearby restaurant and their hiring new jobs for a waiter or waitress." He took his hood off his head revealing his whole face. He leaned unto the fountain next to her.

Kari smiled brightly at him. "Great!" she said, and pulled off a boot to let the water drain out. She sneezed several times, and put the boot back on. "So, where is it?" she asked and stood up, eager to go apply.

Just go up those stairs leading to the great palace but just go straight to the right instead, "I'll come with you, follow me."

Kira nodded, and coughed into her elbow lightly. "So what kind of food do they serve there? Because I can cook as well." she added, and shuffled her feet a bit.

Juniperus pulled out his hand and counted on each finger as he looked up, "Stewed Squid and Seaweed, Sea Prunes, Giant Sea Crabs, Soups, and Cookies." He looked over at her to see what her next answer or question would be.

-The meeting room was silent, except for the crackling of torches that lined up perfectly on the scarlet colored walls. At the head of the room sat Arion, wearing a red and golden silk dress. Her eyes seemed to be in a trance as she re-thought about the topic of discussion that would take place during the meeting. Her guests were expected to arrive at any second.-

Juniperus walked ahead of Kira leading her the way to the restaurant. As soon as the restaurant was reached, he reached the entrance. He extended out his arm and moved the thick curtain hanging by the entrance out of the way. As he walked into the restaurant, the tasty aroma filled his lungs. The restaurant was quite warm due to all of the cooking and boiled food there. Juniperus looked at Kira and pointed to a back room that was to the right, "Just go in there and ask for a spot as a waitress, then he'll interview you stuff like; What nation are you from? How old are you? Childhood...nothing big." He put on his apron and worked an extra shift to accompany her, "Good luck."

Kari smiled her thanks. "I owe you!" she promised, and swished down the hall. She knocked on the door Juniperus had stated, and was greetedby a friendly looking older woman. "Why hello, deari. Are you here for the job?" she asked kindly, and Kari nodded. She was steered inside and seated at a table, across from an elderly man. He looked up through his spectacles and sighed.
"Well, lets get this over with. What is your name?"
"Kari Tailang."
"What nation are ya from?"
"I'm from the Earth Kingdom, but I have been to all four."
"All right, are you a bender?"
"No, sir."
"What's your age?"
"Twenty years of age."
"Any previous jobs?"
"I was part of a travelling cirus, but I ran away a few months ago."
"Very well. Well, can you cook?"
"Yes, sir."
"Then consider yourself hired. Aprons are in the kitchen, talk to one of the other waiters for your table numbers."
Kari smiled. "Thanks!" she said, and stood up. She trotted through the door, and grabbed an apron from a hook just inside the kitchen doors.

Juniperus smiled as she came out to get an apron, "Easy, huh?" he asked smiling and sending a cloth over his shoulder. He pushed out the doors and served a table of two. He walked to the counter and waited for anything else to occur.

Kari smiled back. "Yeah! My last job I had to audition..." she said, and shuddered dramatically. She slipped on the apron, tied in twice around her waist, and pulled all the loose hair from her ponytail back up. "So, I was told to talk to another waiter about table assiagnments?" she prodded, and swiped a towel from a hook near the apron wrack.

Mao sit at his desk not please by the result of the monster rampage.
"My calculation was correct that the benders would be too scared to use their bending to defend them self. The republic city did it again with it fear tactics," Mao laugh
"Any news on what the Pheonix's group is doing?" Mao asked his secretary
"Yes there is...from what we hacked from the police's main frame is that they are hiring a new spy to go into the the hideout and gather info. The new spy is a street thief and wear no shirt. It is reported that the new spy is still in the main police building," Mao secretary replied
"Sound like a good turn in event for the benders to lose more today. The benders might as well be gone after that failed to defend themselves. Please send me a horse at the door because I want to join this interesting spy," Mao ordered
Mao got to the door and ride his horse to the main police building. Mao got to the police building and waited outside of the door waiting for someone that doesn't wear a shirt.
