Freak remains on the ground for a moment, resting up... Still having trouble believing the newcomer was getting the best of him. Freakshow stands up, hunched over a little bit from gut buster earlier. He had a smug look on his face, feeling smart for pulling off the successful counter. He strolls towards Nate... Puts his hands to Evans exposed back, and digs his fingers into them! Clawing downwards for a back rake! Staying on the opponent, he would follow up by grabbing him by the hair to pull him off the ropes and guide him to the center of the ring for his next move...

Nate still lay slumped with his chin resting on the middle turnbuckle pad when he felt Freak's hands on his back, he braced himself ready to feel the sting of a kick or chop but let out a slight gasp of pain and surprise when instead the Manhattan Freakshow raked his fingernails hard down his back.

While it wasn't the most technical of moves made in the match, it still stung like a b***h and moments later Nate felt Freak grab a handful of his pale blond hair and yank him away from the corner to lie pretty much in the center of the ring. He wasn't sure what Freak had planned next, but whatever it was he knew it couldn't be good for him.

Freakshow let go of Nate briefly... Only to grab him around the head, reach an arm around his thigh, and attempt a quick scoop slam! But that wouldn't be enough to satisfy his meanstreak. He would go on to stand over the laid out opponent for a brief moment, taking a moment to balance himself out. The fans waiting in anticipation for what Freakshow would do...

Adding insult to injury, he looked left, looked right, put a knuckle to his nose, turned his head, and blew a snot rocket at Evans! Disgusting! The fans groaned, Freak had a look of pride on his face at their reaction. Fortunately, his sinuses where clear that day. In preparation for his next move, he turned to run the ropes.

((Eeeeww!! xDD))

Nate just barely felt himself being lifted up as he tried to clear the fog that was still lingering about his senses from having his bell rung against the turnbuckle. He definitely felt it when he came down and hit the mat back first though. The scoop slam was one of the most basic slams in all of wrestling, but it was a tried and tested move from way back in wrestlings history and it was executed to perfection here today by the Manhattan Freakshow. Nate arched his back and slid his right arm underneath him to feel where he had taken the most impact. That was, until he felt something moist and sticky splat him directly in the forehead.

"Eeuach!" Nate wiped the snot ball away with the back of his hand and looked around him, trying to get a handle on where Freak was at. There was no way he was going to let an insult like that slide.

Freak was running for the ropes to set up some kind of offensive move, but Nate didn't plan on lying there waiting to be hit again. While Freak had his back to him, Nate tucked his legs into his chest for a second before kicking up at the same time he sprang off the mat with his thumbs, performing a picture perfect kip up. Now when Freak came back off the ropes Nate would attempt to catch him by surprise and drop him on his face with an Inverted STO!

Nate was on the ground when Freakshow ran towards the ropes, the move he had in mind was a falling double axe handle, but the only person who would know that was Freak... He bounced against the ropes, and before he could stop himself, Nate was standing! The only thing he could say before the attack was "Huh?" Completely taken aback, he fell prey to the Inverted STO! He took a faceplant, and rolled to his back after the impact! The fans where extremely impressed with the display of not only athletic ability, but near perfect timing of the move.

The GWF crowd cheered loudly and exploded back into their "Natural! Natural!" chant after seeing the comeback move from Nate. Feeling confidence and exhileration flood his system once again Nate got back up to his feet and came to stand alongside where Freak was laid out on his back. Returning the favour of insult to injury that Freak had given him before, Nate ran both hands through his hair and flicked the sweat down at Freak as he lay there before launching himself into the air for his biggest leaping elbow drop yet.

"Yaaaaaah!"

If he connected with the move he would immediately hook Freak's far leg and go for his third cover of the match.

Freak began to sit up, angered as Nate flicked his sweat down at him. But was brought back down, hit with the second successful elbow drop of the night! He flailed and kicked around in pain, bringing his arms to his chest. He was hooked for the pin. The ref counted... 1...2...Thr- No! Freakshow barely gets shoulder up at two and a half! Some in the arena leap up, thinking that it was a three count. The referee signals two to avoid any confusion.

Refusing to let frustration set in, Nate goes right back on the attack. He grabs Freakshow by the head and drags him back up to his feet and pulls him into a front chancery, throwing Freak's left arm over his shoulder and reaching to hook in Freaks near leg with his right arm Nate sets him up for Natural Extinction! One of Nate's signature moves that is essentially a Fisherman's Brainbuster Suplex, but delivered quickly and with style.

If Freak didn't pull out a counter to this then Nate would drop him onto the top of his head and likely try to follow up with the Nate-Jacket choke to finish him off...

Freakshow was dragged up! His head throbbing, face stinging, from the STO variation. He was locked in the front chancery, his leg was hooked. At this point he had a good idea of what was coming next. If he let it happen, winning the match was not very likely at all. If he wanted to even things out, the normally cautious wrestler would have to take a chance. He grabbed Nate by the hand used to keep him in the front chancery... Then tried spinning out of it, reversing the chancery with a wristlock. Proceeding by attempting to pull his opponent in for a lariat! A move that he was rather skilled at throwing. Compensating for his lack of size compared to most users, by putting all his weight into the move, throwing himself at the opponent... Unfortunately, if it missed, he'd be in prime position to have the Nate-Jacket locked on.

Nate was in position to lift Freak for Natural Extinction but it seemed that his opponent had more left in him than Nate had originally thought. Freak spun out of his grip and cinched in a wristlock for a few seconds while he lined up a lariat and there was going to be very little time for Nate to come up with a counter. He could try putting the breaks on, but with the wristlock still on it would really hurt trying to pull against it. His only other option was to go with the momentum of the move and try his chances at ducking under the short-arm lariat...

((Gonna roll the dice on this one since this is a pretty big turning point in the match one way or the other. If I roll odd, I'll counter the lariat and pull something big. If I roll even then the lariat will hit and Nate's momentum will be squashed... Here goes...))

((Woohoo! Called it right! Here we go then!))

Freak pulled him in for the lariat and Nate just barely managed to duck the flying arm. There was no time to breathe a sigh of relief though since he had to keep the pressure on and make the most of his reversal. He was in perfect position to strap on the Nate-Jacket, but just then another idea came to him and a smile broadened on his face as he continued through with the momentum from Freak's lariat to spin him the whole way around; so that he and Nate were once again face to face.

Once Freak was facing him again and possibly even a little dizzy from his full revolution Nate went low, doubling his opponent over with a kick to the mid-section before taking a half-step back and jumping up to hit Natural Selection (read: Fameasser) on the Manhattan Freakshow, dropping his leg across the back of Freaks neck and driving him face first down to the mat if it worked.

Next would come the Nate-Jacket to seal the deal if Freak was unable to offer up any further resistance to the Wildcard's offense.

The lariat misses! Freakshow spins around and is planted with the fameasser! Then put in Nate-Jacket before he could do anything! The fans began chanting and yelling at Freak to tap! And it didn't take long, he began smacking the ground, signaling his surrender to avoid being choked out!

The Natural succeeded in planting Freak's face into the mat with the Natural Selection, quickly jumping on his opponents back and slapping on the Nate-Jacket. The GWF crowd leapt to their feet and all cried out for Freakshow to tap to the newcomer and after a few long seconds in the dangerous and restricting choke-hold, Freak gave the people what they wanted for the first time in the whole match by slapping the mat in submission.

The referee signalled for the bell to be rung and after hearing the "Ding! Ding! Ding!" which sounded the end of the match Nate released his grip on the Manhattan Freakshow and pushed him away so that he could stand up and bask in the cheers for his first ever victory in the GWF.

"And the winner of the match as a result of a submission... The Natural, Nate! Evans!"

The smile could hardly be contained on Nate's face as he heard the GWF ring announcer call out his victory. Freak was still lying in the middle of the ring trying to get his breath and that gave Nate an idea. Rolling out of the ring to where the announcers were Nate took a microphone and climbed back into the ring.

"Heeeeellooooooo Gee-Double-you-Eff!" Nate paused for a second while he caught his breath and let the GWF crowd settle down to hear what he had to say.

"I'm Nate Evans and until now none of you had ever seen me wrestle a match before. I came into this match a rookie, a GWF wrestling virgin. My opponent thought that he would have an advantage over me and be able to get an easy win. I think it's a little redundant for me to say it right now, but clearly he was mistaken..." He paused again as small sections of the crowd cheered a bit at Freak's defeat.

"Now, now, now that isn't very nice. It was a great match and Freakshow definitely didn't make it easy for me. It's not his fault really. He just made one miscalculation in his approach to the match. He thought that he had the advantage of experience, but in reality... I had the advantage of surprise. There was no way he could have known what to expect from me, no-one has seen me wrestle before until tonight. You people here in this arena tonight are the first!" Nate had to pause again as he got some pops for his comment about the GWF audience being the first people ever to see Nate wrestle in a proper match.

"Uh-huh! Yep, that's right! You seen it here first, the GWF's new resident Wildcard! Freakshow probably came into this building tonight saying to himself that no rookie was ever going to beat him in a match. That I, Nate Evans would never beat him in my debut. But let me tell you one thing GWF, Freakshow knows better now to never! Say never again!"

With that he dropped the mic to the mat and stepped over Freakshow to roll out of the ring and disappear up the ramp to the back of the GWF arena, followed by cheers from some new fans in the GWF crowd...
