Maybe the creator of the manga was a top secret agent/astronaut that went to space and found Keron, observed their lifestyle, and negotiated with them in order to create a book based on their lives and what they would be like if they came to Earth. And then it was turned into a TV show.
Maybe there is a top secret exchange in TV contracts going between planets on a daily basis! burning_eyes
