Prince's stomach growled, he stood and put his snout in the air. There was a fawn not to far away. "Well, Dahlia, I'm going hunting. You can join me if you like." He stood and trotted over to Dekel. "Do you want to join me on a hunt?" Prince asked with a small smile knowing that Dekel was going to comment on his likeing toward Dahlia.

The way her name sounded when he spoke it made her chest flutter... what was that flutter? She sighed and when he spoke her eyes lowered and her gaze became sad.
"I may... I may not stay Tsensu... I'm a danger to the wolves around me, even now... there is a reason I was a loner my entire life...so my being here might not last long... but I'm flattered that you feel that way... just promise me... If we're ever alone in the dark... Never trust me." she looked away, her gaze distant. " she sighed. "Believe me, it's not safe to trust me." she lowered her ears again and slowly lowered her head to her paws.

Dekel smiled at his friend, before nodding. "Sure. I could use a good meal right now, while we wait for any more wolves to show up." He nodded briefly to Dahlia, as a way of saying hello, and wondered if she would come.
He kind of hoped so, because he was curious to see how the situation played out, but he would also be lying if he said he wasn't interested in teasing. He just hoped Prince never thought to do the same to him, were their situations ever switched. Aw well. He would deal with that if it came.

Tsensu's hopes died when Kosheart said she couldn't stay. He would just have to convince her to stay. But first he wanted to know how she could be of such a danger to other wolves. "What? Is the darkness chasing you??" He thought for a moment. Maybe the darkness made her a target for some reason, and what better time for the darkness to strike then at night? Maybe she made unreasonable decisions about other wolves around her when the darkness was attacking her. "Look around, this pack's numbers have grown. If the darkness showes up the pack can take it. I heard one of the little ones talking about how there's wolves in this pack who have fought the darkness off before, with help I'm assuming." He layed down and nuzzled her shoulder so she would look at him. "The darkness won't hurt you, not when I'm around." He couldn't imagine her getting hurt.

Kosheart turned her head to look at him.
He was comforting her? In all her time alone, the only comfort she had ever found was sleep, and even then nightmares often haunted her... But this male who barely knew her was trying to protect her, and make her feel safe.
She faltered a moment then spoke, but quietly. They were far enough away from the other wolves that Tsensu would be the only one to learn the secret she was about to share.
"I served the Darkness Faithfully for a Time when I was younger. Without it, I am just me, I am a healer... but when I was a Warrior of the Darkness...I was was a fearless monster."
She closed her eyes and memories over took her, and as she continued to speak her voice was saddened.
"I killed, Tsensu. I killed wolves, entire groups... I invaded Sanctuaries... and I was so Fierce that even Sure-Claws fell to me. I was empty, a mindless puppet... I did as my Master Commanded and I never felt Guilt or Fear in doing so. The Darkness gave me strength... The Likes of which I have never felt since."
A sigh escaped her and when her eyes opened, her gaze was far away, in a different time... a far off memory. "There was one warrior who saw what I was, one who knew I was little more than a puppet... and he caught me off guard, he threw me into a tree with such force that the Darkness lost it's grip on me and I woke up... I saw what I did Tsensu... the blood, the bodies... I was terrified, I took one look at the warrior and I fled. I heard him die as the darkness took him, and I have never forgotten."
She shuddered and let out an uneasy breath before she continued.
"I ran for a long time... in fact, I never really Stopped running... I have come face to face with the darkness since... and every time it has tried to Lure me in... and once, it succeeded."
She remembered and shook her head slowly.
"I had come across a Sanctuary and I told them I was being followed by something awful... They believed me, of course and they took me in. I helped them grow, I healed injured travelers and aided females in birthing, and I thought for awhile I could wash the stain of blood from my paw pads... but it was not so. One of the elders came to me asking for help... they said there was an injured traveler that needed my aid... I was quick to respond but I knew.. when I saw him I knew... Fur as black as a moonless, starless sky, eyes the color of blood... or anger, rage and thirst... He looked helpless, but I knew better. I warned the elders, but as soon as the words left my mouth... he attacked." she sighed, her story nearly done.
"I fought against him, as hard and as fiercely as I could, but I had no skills of my own, and I was knocked out, when I woke, I was under his control again... I killed them... All of them, and when I woke, the Darkness had left me. I knew it was my punishment. I had killed everyone I had come to love and the darkness made it quite clear, no matter where I go, he can still use me..." she laid her head down, her gaze averted, ears back and sorrow in her heart.
"I have been travelling alone for almost a year... and nothing has changed since. I haven't stopped and stayed in one place longer than a week or two because of how quickly it always finds me..."
"Like I said, I am Dangerous, no one is safe as long as I am near..." she murmured quietly. She looked at him sorrowfully. This male that was so kind was the only one who knew what she'd done... What she might do... She wasn't sure why, but the fact that he knew was a relief.

Kiba turned to Toboe his eyes unfocused for a moment before realizing who it was his face light up. "Toboe!" Then returned to that strict and determined face. "Lucky to find you after we got seperated." He muttered and then looked up at the other wolves, eyeing each of them carefully but not scrutinizing them. He went back to Toboe and extended his paw before dragging the male over. "So Fairyn, Andragos, who's the turtle? Then Kora, Tsensu, Kosheart, Dahlia, Prince, Dekel, who's the one with the ice?" Tsume butted Toboe in the side, "Hey runt." He gave a slight growl, "Running off without us. Were's Hige? Or Blue?" They hadn't seen either of them either. Heck they still hadn't found Cheza either and he knew that's what was bothering Kiba.{Forgive my late late post and whatnot. Writer's block SUCKS.}

Toboe grinned and almost jumped up and down in excitement. "I cant seem to find Hige at all, but Blue is some where in the forest." He sat down and became a bit more sullen. They still hadnt found Cheza, and Toboe had actually expected Kiba and Tsume to come back with her. He listened as as Kiba named the wolves, and his eyes lit up when he said Kora's name. His thoughts drifted to the pretty female.
Zuri stood and gazed at each wolf for a moment, she knew most of them. She turned and layed down in a shaded spot under a tree. With her head on her paws, she watched the wolves come in and out of the new clearing.

As the groups began to separate into smaller ones, almost instantly she followed Prince. He was most certainly the one wolf, aside from Kora, that she felt most comfortable being around. He had invited her to a hunt? How exciting... she mused, appraising his figure as she folloed his heels. She was curious to see how'd he'd perform. She too was a hunter... and a skilled one at that. That was at least one thing she was very sure of in her life. But where she learned her skills, she may never remember...
"Of course i'd love to join," she replied to Prince, smiling casually, also nodding at the other male he had invited.
"Im Dahlia, what is your name?" She felt that it would be rude to join them in a hunt and not know one of their names.

Prince's tail wagged when he saw Dahlia follow. He turned to Dekel and stared at him for a moment or two waiting for him to say something. "I was thinking we should bring something large enough to feed pack. So maybe like a large deer." He suggested. Prince figured with three wolves a large stag would be fairly easy to kill. "Whenever you guys are ready." He said waiting for Dekel and Dahlia to aquiant themselves.

Tail wagging behind him rather like a motor, Dekel barked back, "I'm Dekel, a friend of Prince and a fellow pack-mate. Nice ta meet you, Dahlia."
Hearing his friend speak again, he turned his head over to him and nodded. "Sounds good." He hummed to himself and cocked his head to the side. "I don't think I've ever hunted a full-grown deer before." A grin formed on his maw, "Should be fun."

"So let me get this straight. The darkness is controlling you?" Surprise was in his voice. Tsensu couldn't believe it, it was something he had never heard before, the darkness now taking over wolves. He would have never believed that Kosheart had killed wolves before until she told him, but involuntarily killing them. Tsensu was mad and angry. Hearing what the darkness made her do made Tsensu motivated to seek out the darkness and destroy it. It made him sad because he couldn't even begin to think about how Kosheart lived her life. "A weaker wolf would have already killed themselves rather then being controled by the darkness a second time. It shows how strong you are and how much you value your life and the lives of others if you try to keep away from them. It's too bad that your not going to get rid of me that easily since you've met me." He smiled at her. "If....and when the darkness comes, I'll make sure it won't get to you. It'll have to get past me to get control of you." He wanted to reassure her. But when did this all happen? Why did the darkness chose you?"

She nodded slowly. "Yes... It has been for most of my life... when did it all happen? I was only an adolescent... closer to puppyhood still than adult... I lived with my parents among a group of wolves who didn't believe in unaturally colored or marked wolves and those of us born so unfortunately were victims of painful, bloody sacrifices... My mother had unnatural markings.. but my father still chose to mate with her. His adult son over-threw him as leader of the group and announced my mother would be the next sacrifice... when I found out I was a pup, but old enough to understand what that meant and I objected.... he just sneered at me and asked if I was going to take her place instead... and I said yes." she sat up after a moment, wrapping her tail around her paws.
"I remember it still like it was yesterday... it was the day I came of age as an adolescent... I woke from a dream unlike any other... a dream in which the Goddess that group of wolves worshipped told me that for my bravery and sacrifice I would be spared... but only if I left... so I fled that morning..." she was quiet for a moment, then she lowered her head. "I returned later, but they were all Dead or missing... and later I found that the goddess they had so determinedly followed was not a goddess at all... it had been been the darkness all along... and I never sensed it's evil." she shook out her fur and looked down at him. "Sometimes I tell myself that I'm the weaker wolf, because a stronger wolf would have killed themselves to save the lives I took... how can you look at me the way you do and see something other than the stains of blood I bear?" She asked him softly.
"This marking on my head, it represents the mental hold the darkness had on me, and everytime that spot is hit, I revert to a killer... and the marking on my heart... reminds me I'm a cold and heartless killer deep inside myself...where even I can't reach... and this silver marking around my paw... it represents my shackles to darkness... but you don't see that...how can you look at me and see any different?" she wondered aloud, leaning her head down to nose him gently. "I could be a danger to your very life, but you're willing to protect me so quickly... I don't understand it... but I'm grateful... but I'm no good for you.." she whispered, her ears back as she laid back down beside him, terrified that this male might lose his life trying to protect her, and that it wouldn't be to the Darkness that he lost it.

"The pack you lived with was demented. They must've known what they were doing, feeding lies to the young and gullible." It was all hard to process to Tsensu. Why would they worship the darkness? Then he remembered what Kosheart said about them being posessed by the darkness. Did they worship the darkness for their powers? It was the most likely idea.
"What I see in you is not a killer, the darkness is the real cuplrit. And it's another thing to hear it from mouth, it's another thing to witness it. I'm not saying that I don't believe the darkness can control you, I'm just saying that I'll be more surprised if and when I see it happen." He really didn't want to see it happen at all. "The darkness kills, that's a fact. The darkness is using you to kill, it makes you a victim. The Darkness is any wolf's enemy, and most of them will do anything to protect their own kind. I'm not protecting you out of pity, I want you to have a life of your own." Tsensu thought for a minute. "When the Darkness lossens it's grip on you maybe you could spend your life with someone." When Tsensu realized what he had said he couldn't help but blush. "I-I mean...every femme has always dreamed of having pups, right? With the darkness gone, you could raise a litter peacefully." Tsensu realised what he said didn't help his situation. It was obviously no secret that as soon as he saw her he thought of them being together. He didn't want to make it so obvious to Kosheart that he was referring to himself when he said his last few words.
