later, jarel would think he had to hand it to freakshow, he's resourceful. right now all he's thinking about is the pain of tacks being stuck in his head as he falls backward, with freakshow presumably falling on his shoulders instead of on the tacks where he belongs.

Freakshow had fallen down with Jarel! Getting the easier landing of the two. Everything had happened quite quickly, it took both him, and the ref awhile to notice he was inadvertently pinning Jarel's shoulders the ground, which constituted as a pin attempt. And since technically Freak had put tacks into his opponent, the ref started counting! 1...

the ref is at 2 and trying for three when jarel finally attempts to toss freakshow off him and sit up again, blood pouring down his face and one hell of a scowl showing his current mood

Freak was launched off Jarel! He scampered to the corner of the ring. Freak felt a dull pain in his hand. He looked down at it, and saw that a thumbtack had made it's way into his palm, a thin stream of blood was trailing down his arm. For a moment he contemplated trying to take it out, but saw his opponent sitting back up! Not wanting to waste time, he hurried back to the seated Jarel, and tried sending him few Dusty Rhodes styled bionic elbows to the cranium!

Jarel sees freakshow coming, through the red haze of blood, and reaches up to catch his elbow before the strike can land, using his left hand. with his right, he reaches up to once again try to catch Freakshow by the throat, then make his way to his feet to attempt a one handed chokeslam in the tacks, a move he seems determined to hit at least once

Freakshow is once more throttled for the choke slam! Surprised he flails around wildly, eyes wide in fear as he was lifted up into the air! Then is slammed down, hard into the tacks! He screams out in agony, arching his back as pain shot through him! Freak clinched his fists, trying hard to bear with the sensation of numerous tacks sticking into his back. The fact that he had taken a few spills into thumbtacks before didn't ease things one bit.

Jarel now signals for the end with a cutthroat gesture and the crowd rises to its feet in cheers as Jarel looks to Freakshow. Jarel goes to pull him up and attempt the Tombstone Piledriver away from the tacks

Freakshow is brought to his feet. The whole time he knew what was coming, but was in too much pain to do anything about him. He is picked up for The Tombstone Piledriver, and brought down to the mat cranium first! Eyes glazed, he lays sprawled out on the mat.

Jarel stands as his music hits and removes some tacks from his forehead.
Announcer: Here is your winner and the new Extreme champion, Jarel Drako Damone!
The referee hands Jarel the belt, which he holds for a few seconds before raising to the crowd. He backs up to the ropes and flips out backwards, landing on his feet on the outside. He heads up the ramp with Janelle close behind, high fiving fans along the way as he heads backstage
