I believe the best government will be achieved under democratic socialism. (And this socialism must have some capitalist elements.)
So small private business is allowed

So small private business is allowed 3nodding But you know it won't work out that way.. once people have hold of power, they don't like letting it go..

Niphredil Ithilmir Kenzu I believe the best government will be achieved under democratic socialism. (And this socialism must have some capitalist elements.)
So small private business is allowed 3nodding But you know it won't work out that way.. once people have hold of power, they don't like letting it go.. And that's where democracy goes in. And if someone wants to stay for too long, there is still the possibility of a revolution.
That's how I see this

Hitler was voted into power.. *shrug
Revolution? I dunno.. what is a revolution but replacing one tyrant with another?
Perhaps Niph is a little cynical, but cynicism has its merits.

Untill now revolutions destroyed monarchies and dictatorship and created either democracies or more democratic dictatorships. It was a win every time.

Napoleon instituted himself instead of the French Kings as supreme leader of the country. The ancient Romans had countless 'revolutions' which just installed more tyrants. There are many, many more cases. They'll still come and take the chickens, whoever they are.

I doubt that. Somehow I don't recall that the French would die in hunger under Napoleon.

I'm not saying that revolutions make things worse, although, of course, it has happened before; I'm just saying that really, you get one leader with all his promises and breaking promises replaced by another.. with all his promises which he can't keep.
It doesn't matter to the ordinary farmer who comes to take his chickens, but they all do, in the end.
