I do like that, but see, that's the kind of rap I can handle. The only rap I ever hear around are the kinds that are bad which reflected a very negative image to me. I don't like most forms of street / thug /gangsta' style rapping. But I'm not purely opposed to it either.
I just prefer the blending of harmony / melody / rhythm.
If I didn't like rap completely, I wouldn't listen to Linkin Park (which has some rap elements in them obviously), the Gorillaz, Jay Chou, and some other actual rap artists. lol

Speaking of music...I deeply enjoy being told I don't know 'what's what' in music because I don't happen to like Eminem. Or however it's spelled. I just like all 'mainstream garbage' or so I'm told rolleyes
Riiiight.
Sometimes I wish the world was simpler and I could just like what I like without overbearing judgments.

People need to realize that just because they like something doesn't mean everyone should xD That we all have our own tastes and views on the world so it's only natural that something I like would be something they don't and vice versa~

Semester ends halfway through December, which means a ton of work to wrap stuff up falls solidly in November - my birthday is on the 7th, Thanksgiving, and I've decided I want to try and write a 50k word novel again. In a month.
