Cale Darksun
Cale Darksun
and what about Outlaws or space pirates?

I raise this point again.

I'm sorry. Watching brothers fight does intrigue me at times... Being an only child like I am, i never had the priveledge to really engague in vicious activities against my siblings.

Another thing is that I usually am friends with both the person I met, as well as their bothers and sisters... so I find it sometimes fun to experiment with them when they conflict. cruel, yes, but intriguing to me. Sometimes siding with one person, sometimes the other, sometimes with both, and sometimes neither... And that is why I'm never will be classified as "Lawful good". I'm just into the third evil...

anyways, to answer that point...

Cale, you are Han Solo in a nutshell. I would not mind if someone could give you some challenges, like a Dash Rendar character... At least give some interesting rivalry. So far, you're basically alone in your profession. It wouldn't hurt for a little bit of competition once in a while. At least someone who is able to outwit you several times.

Of course, if someone wishes to play an astromech or protocol droid, that would be interesting too...

I never said they had to be successful. But enough to keep you on your toes and your senses heightened.

Or even snatch a shipment or two off of you.

And me? outwit you? Is that supposed to be sarcastic, derogatory, or complementary?

@Nospai: Prove me wrong, then I'll choke down some humble pie.
@Nelo: take it however you wish. emotions are hard to do via typed media. Nothetheless, a little competition would be nice. but as I said before, I am the best. hard to scare up a little competion.

Well, I meant someone who is your complement.

Your character is just like Solo. You have talent, skill, and wit, but most of your personality and victories are based solely on being extremely lucky and having fate falling in love with you. While you are able to really provide interesting stories and perform amazing feats, its just more on the side of luck your character falls into. This is not a bad thing. Solo pulled it off. The only downside is when you suddenly lose your luck, and then you'll find yourself in a rather sticky situation.

I sort of want an outlaw who is like Dash. Someone whose skill and talent are much superior to his luck.

Its a double edged sword. You can't be skillful and lucky, in my opinion. If you are the most skilled person in the world, but you are the most unluckiest one, you are forever resigned to sub-mediocrity due to unnaturally bad luck. you work much harder and gain much less.

If you are lucky, things work out for you. So skill plays less in your life. you win big or lose big.

You catch the drift? I'm not looking for someone to copy your jovial, optomistic, nigh-carefree attitude and incredible ability to fall into a good situation. I'm looking for someone who can handle their own no matter the cost, is serious on everything, but yet can maintain a poise that demands a fuller satisfaction than simply what the stars say that day.

Oh I got skill I got skill coming out my ears.
But yeah, I do favor lady luck in my buisness, so I see where you're coming from.

My father always says, "Its better to be lucky than good."

I repeat, Cale the character is skilled. Han solo is skilled. But both rely on the graces of luck to give a final edge.

I mean, Cale may be good, but skill cannot save all. Han is the fastest guns in the galaxy, and even he was powerless against Vader.

I think Repeating a statement will serve my purpose.

I sort of want an outlaw who is like Dash. Someone whose skill and talent are much superior to his luck.
