I heard it from my friend at school, She told me it involved WW1 and 2 and i love history, so i looked it up and watched a few episodes then soon after 5 episodes i was hooked on it. Can't really blame me 8D It beats all the other anime i've watched xD and my first anime was Sailormoon sweatdrop -embarrassed to admit that-

All of my friends at school were suddenly obsessed with it, and they even all had country names. I felt left out, so they let me be England, since I'm part British. I decided to finally check it out over the summer, and now I'm obssesed too. ^.^

How I found out about Hetalia: I was on a 'Geddan' YouTube Spree and ran across a pissed off Iggy throwing wands at Rose-Clad Naked Francis with the awesome and annoying ninja ability to dodge them. XD [APH] Get Down France & UK

How Kira found out about it!: I had a friend Hikari, and she was cosplaying a female Grandpa Rome, and after a long time after she left gaia, I was just like "Screw it. I'm watching that damn anime for the hell of it." and I watched ONE episode, and I was like "Yeah, this is so my kinda anime. Parodied wars. Mhm." It actually taught me things I didn't know! LIKE THE FACT THERE WAS EVEN A WAR OF AUSTRIAN SUCCESSION. xD

the last atlantean i heard it from my manga teacher You have a manga teacher? Any way Tokyo Pop was giving out manga samples at AX this year and the manga looked cute after reading the little snipit, I desided to look it up more. But before then I had actualy ran into some fan art of it on this one page, but I didn't really get to into it till I read the manga snipit. ^_^

But before I even knew what it was, I kept seeing Portal/Hetalia clips, and PAASSSTTAAA, so I knew about it.
