Hex was baffled. THERE'S MORE THAN ONE?!? he thought. Arell smiled and lit up a smoke and offered one to Remy.
"Well dat's a good question, che'. I don't have much of a preference, so it's up t' you." Arell said, unsure of the area, but willing to work.

Oracle interrupted their line of thought over the comm, "Alright, now that I see that we're you are on GPS.... Dr. Taylor Cartwright is closer to you, about five blocks east of you on Grant Ave. Dr. Emil Velinski lives in Columbus Square to the southwest."

Gambit looked around and got a waiter to come over. "'Scuse me, sir, but where might Columbus Square be?"
The waiter pointed down the street. "Go down about three blocks and turn right. Columbus Square is about a half a mile down."
Gambit looked in that direction and nodded. "Thank you." He pulled the com. back out and spoke into it once more. "I seem to be right by Columbus Square so you two catch the other one a'ight?"

Arell smirked. "Roger 'dat. We'll see if de boy's home. Let's rendezvous back at de station after we got dem two scientist dudes an' get a move on." the Cajun said through his cell phone. Hex was unconcerned about the new technology and they started walking from the diner and off to Grant Avenue.

When Gambit would get to Columbus Square, he would see the M.E.'s putting a body in a van marked 'Central City Coroner.' Also, the Xman would hear people talking at what happened close to the newspaper stand.

''Oracle, was it? We'll be sho't one scientist.'' Gambit spoke into his communicator. ''Let's just say da poor sap's workin late upstairs now.'' He turned and headed back to the terminal. ''There's cops all over da place, Cherie', I can't get close but apparently he had a hea't attack while gettin his papah.''

Oracle responded with a bit of stress in her voice, "Wonderful. Heart attack my foot. Gambit, I think you would probably agree that this wasn't natural causes. This sounds like a professional. Pick up whatever information you can Gambit, and get back with me.
"Arell, you and Hex need to find Mr. Cartwright right away. Somebody's tying up loose ends."

Arell's cell phone squawked again about the news. "Che', we're 'bout t' hit Grant now." the Cajun said as they held onto the back of a semi truck bound for Grant Avenue. "We ain't dere yet, but we gonna be soon!"

Arell and Hex easily find Dr. Cartwirght's apartment, and don't see any disturbances so far....

After jumping off the back of the semi, Arell and Hex scramble to their feet and walk up to the house, as if they didn't just use an unsuspecting moving van as a free ride. They two concrete cowboys walked up to the door and knocked.

Every person that Gambit talked to recounted the same story. Finally the Cajun sighed and thought up another way to get information. He pulled the communicator out again and spoke into it. ''Hey, Cherie'? Can you pull da video feeds from all da camras 'round hea? We might actually find somthin dat way.''

This time, Hex spoke up. "We're lookin' fer a Dr. Taylor Cartwright. You wouldn't happen to be him, wouldja?" the cowboy said. The Cajun gunslinger listening in to see if Gambit and Oracle scored any new information.
