PurpleLemon Totro I've never heard it D: I feel uneducated. crying OH!! Do you have Music For A Darkened Theater 2? Cause there are a few tracks on there. That's how I first heard it myself, and I HAD to have it ever after. Are you a big fan of Danny's "nicer" works? (Sommersby, The Family Man, Good Will Hunting?) Or do you like his more signature stuff like Batman and such? I like it all, but his nicer stuff really just gets to me... maybe becase he does it so WELL yet there is very little of it out there... Wow, I missed alot of really awsome conversations. Sorry I haven't been around recently. My life kinda hit a downwards spiral, and I haven't had much time to be here, but I should be coming here more ofte nnow. Sorry, again.

Totro No, I dont have Music For A Darkened Theater cry I'm putting them on my wishlist for the Persian New Year, though. And I could never chose between "Niceer" works and the more outstanding ones. Which catagory would Edward go in? Nice? Edward would probably be in the "Nicer" category. Dolores Claiborne is hard... it's not really nice sounding, but it's usually not that loud. Most scores have their nicer type songs to em, and most of the nicer scores have their loud/dark/crazy side, but I go by the majority.

Hello! I'm new here!! I think that pretty much all of Elmans' themes are great, but the ones that stand out for me are the score throughout Batman Returns, the Beetlejuice theme and the music from Nightmare Before Christmas. I don't think his songs in Corpse Bride were as good as NBC, even though the film itself was good. I also like the Mars Attacks! theme.

I have to agree that the score for Corpse Bride wasn't quite as spectacular as The Nightmare Before Christmas', especially not the lyrical songs. However, the underscore, was very nice, and the piano duet were amazing.

However, the underscore, was very nice, and the piano duet were amazing. Agreed. "According to Plan" and "Remains of the Day" rocked pretty hard, but "The Wedding Song" was mediocre at best, and "Tears to Shed" is TERRIBLE. Though, that is mostly due to the subject matter. sweatdrop

I like the Wedding Song, Remains of the Day, and somewhat According to plan, but the rest of the vocalised stuff pretty much sucked.

Theta_Sigma Hello! I'm new here!! I do love Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands, and of course Nightmare smile Ooh man I haven't even listened to Corpse Bride yet... That's bad of me... I got Charlie and the Choco Factory first, and have listened to that though! That was pretty good, but not as good as some. Oh, the Spider-man score was most impressive, I thought. I liked it better than the old standards like Batman or what. I liked Back to School for some reason, and of course the Breakfast Machine track was amazing!!

That was like me except I bought the Corpse Bride sountrack (before the movie even came out XDD) and I still haven't gotten Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, but I downloaded all the Oompa loompa songs and the song when all the dolls explode XD
I love the Simpsons score! So much! And really everything, especially Edward Sissorhands, Nightmare and Forbbiden Zone

So much! And really everything, especially Edward Sissorhands, Nightmare and Forbbiden Zone I really should listen to that score! Sometimes I buy scores and don't listen to them forever. Other than that I've listened to my other scores, though some I really don't know very well. I should do a score a night til I'm thoroughly familiarized with them. You know what I love? The theme to Pure Luck! smile
