Sin was gaining in fact, and when Rendo turned he expertly angled his body to follow suit, nearly close to attacking Rendo, so very close. His body smelled Rendo's scent, and his mind toyed with the idea of his limbs thrown across the beach. He was going to teach this pest a lesson in interfering.
Nuishan turned, skidding slightly, not as graceful as her brother. He was mere whiskers away from Rendo. Her heart pounded inside her chest, fear and determination mingling into one. Sin was ready to pounce on Rendo, and her body reacted before he could lift his front legs.
She forced her legs faster, her insides screaming at the exertion it was not used to. She slammed straight into Sin, sending the large fox violently rolling into a tree. She lost her footing as well, lying across her brother.
"Rendo!" She wailed out, standing and shaking her ringing head. "You're an idiot if you thought I was going to just leave you, old boy!" She snapped, slightly irritated. She whipped around to where Sin had been lying. Had been. He was gone. She yelped, glancing around in shock. Where was he?!
He was behind her, tense. His eyes shot from Rendo to Nuishan, unsure which would be the first prey. Finally, he decided it would be the closest, Nuishan, and fiercely swatted his long claws at her. Nuishan turned at the right moment, dodging and circling away from him, ears lowered. She looked so weak, but Sin was not fooled. That male fox was faster than he thought, and smarter. And his damn sister was just a bold moron, throwing herself around without thinking. He was far more interested in the older, smarter fox he had been chasing seconds ago.

Rendo turned around only to find Nuishan hit the ground and frowned. "Oh Nuishan..." He said frowning at her not feeling her coming back but at the mistake she made.
"I was...it doesn't matter." He said looking back at Sin who was still blending in. Rendo could now see him only because he lost his cover to attack Nuishan.
He looked Sin over and knew a straight out fight was going to be his death. Rendo wasn't built like a warrior, he was made to run and fighting like this was bad. He saw Sin looking at him hard.
"Ignore her. This is between you and me now." He said lowering his head some running that map in his head again, then he remember they were close to the beach. He could almost feel the sand. "How does it feel, the act of chasing me? Enjoyed it, I'm a scout. Your obviously a tracker and a hunter lets make this interesting. A game if you will. I'll break off into a dead run and use my skills against yours. You know you'll slaughter me in a fight. Why not enjoy this? Catch me, rip my feet off make me suffer. If I do get away from you I know how to cover my tracks. You can add me to your killing list." He said nodding his head looking at him. He showed his throat next.
"I know you want to catch me while I'm running and rip it out so I fall to the ground. All you got to say is yes. You can kill Nuishan any time. But me, this is once in a lifetime." He said watching him.

Sin watched Rendo, listening. When Nuishan opened her mouth to protest, he slammed his paw into her mouth, causing her to collapse under the weight of his paw. She didn't move, most likely having been knocked out. Sin sighed her way, eyes scanning the area before locking on Rendo, a twisted smile spreading.
"A once in a lifetime? Don't flatter yourself, I've met foxes far stronger than you. Some with wings even. Each fell before my strike." He hissed Rendo's way, yet he didn't make a move to protest, instead stepping closer, body posed as if he was hunting. Technically, he was.
"Yes." He loved the idea of catching Rendo mid-run, ripping his neck into shreds and watching the limp body collapse. He was assisting the traitor of a family he had been supposed to feel one with, he had to die alongside that traitor. Nuishan could be dealt with later.

"Nuishan..." He said looking at her limp body he took a step but backed up. Sin was concentrating on Rendo right now and that was what she needed more then him getting bored and changing him mind.
He straighten up as he saw Sin getting ready. "May the one with the better skills win." Rendo said as he suddenly bolted to the side quickly running faster then he ever could before. Making tight turns and rushing hard into bushes. He needed to lead him away for now. Losing him was something he needed to do later.

Nuishan walked across the beach, body clean from her dip the night before. Wounds were closed and sore, ears lowered as a low whimper escaped her lips. Rendo, he had run off. When she woke, she had been alone. Where had he gone? She could only guess, he had run off with Sin. Sheer suicide. This was all her fault, she had not assisted enough.
Her eyes caught something out of the corner of her sight, head jerking around to spot a bloodied fox lying on the beach. Her heart skipped a beat as her hope raised, dashing towards the fox. It was Rendo.
"Rendo! Oh god, Rendo please wake up! Rendo, can you hear me?!" She frantically began to lick his wounds, suddenly biting his neck gently and pulling him away from the water, once more licking his fur clean, stopping every two seconds to whimper his name. He was alive, right? He had to be!

Rendo laid in his spot on the verge of passing out from exhaustion. His body was limp and the wounds he had tortured him from the salt water but that was where he collapsed at. As he heard his name being yelled at him then the sudden pulling and bite brought him back to the world.
He tilted his head to look up at her silently. He cleared his through for a moment before he spoke. "Not too bad for an old boy!" He said then made a small laugh. He tried to stand up only to find his legs didn't work. He looked at his front paws and saw they were bleeding. "Like I told. He was fast but just had to be faster." He said smiling weakly at her.

Her eyes lit up, licking Rendo's cheek and nuzzling him generously. "Rendo! I thought you were dead! Oh...your paws! Your paws!" She licked the blood of his paws, hastily looking about and running off, returning with leaves. She was not a Shaman of any sort, but she could remember her mother's tricks. She pressed leaves on the wounds, firmly and steadily, smiling at Rendo before glaring at him, ears jerking to the side as she gave him a dreadful glare.
"What were you thinking?! Tempting a cold hearted killer like that? Only a idiot would do what you did! Are you alright? I can't believe you!"

Rendo smiled as she nuzzled him, for once in a long time he felt loved. As he laid their he look at her, "Me dead? Experience was all I needed to keep me alive." He said looking at his paws. "It'll heal." He said watching her run off.
"Ow that hurts!" He protested as she pushed them to his paws. He blinked at the sudden mood swing she had. Once again he felt what it was like to make a female, god he forgot how he hated that. "I tried talking it out! Besides all he needed was a hug. I bet that boar gave him a good one too." He smiled. "We don't need to worry about him for a while, I spent all of today making false trails and a few surprises. Hope he doesn't mind snakes." He said rolling over on his side. "Are you okay? I saw him hit you last night." He asked ignoring his wounds worried about her.

"Hmm." She didn't seemed amused, smacking him playfully in the cheek. "Get up old boy, let me tend to your paws." She tilted her head at his question, shaking her head suddenly and backing up slightly.
"I'm fine." She quickly answered, hastily nuzzling Rendo to change the subject. "Wait, a boar? You led Sin to a boar? For all we know, Sin could be thinking that's a practice." She smiled gently at Rendo, nuzzling him once more, wincing as her head throbbed in pain. She really needed to stop making trouble for people.

He blinked as she slapped him on the cheek. "Ow, fine. Don't be so mean." He said as he forced himself up onto his feet. His legs felt like jello from the running. If it hadn't of been for the highly dangerous psychopath chasing him he would of said it was fun.
"Okay..." He said looking at her then went along with her. She was probably still suffering from the night before. "Not exactly led more like stumble into and got out of the way. But Sin did tag me a few times before I was able to get away." Rendo said as he looked over his sides and frowned knowing that they were going to leave scars. "If it makes you happy he was having a ton of fun.

Nuishan nuzzled Rendo once more. "It doesn't make me happy." She answered, shaking her head. "To see a friend get hurt by my own family. He wasn't after you, but you..." She paused, sighing softly as she glanced at his sides. She felt horrible, if she hadn't bumped into Rendo he never would have been hurt, hell, if she had ran off in the start Sin would have followed. He wouldn't be bloodied.

he shrugged as she spoke to him. "Hey your part of Lunarie so your like family. Got to protect family." He said sitting down heavily and licking his sides. He could see that she was beat torturing herself over it. "Hey, don't feel so bad. I'm not dead and neither are you. That's what matters. It'll heal, and besides girls love foxes with scars." He said smiling as he stretched out his aching muscles.
"Nuishan...do you have a mate?" He asked her randomly as he was licking his fur.

Nuishan shook her head, slightly flushed around the cheeks. "No." She answered, laughing gently. "I'm not a very charming fox, I guess it's expected." She eyed Rendo, smiling at him for a brief second.
"What about you?" Rendo was charming, fun to be around, and defiantly had to be taken. In fact, she'd be surprised if he wasn't.

Rendo looked at Nuishan surprised at her response. "Not charming? That's more crazy then what I did." He said smiling at her.
When she asked him he sighed a little. "Use too, she left me when I was younger for a more mature female." He shrugged as he looked at her. "I was very immature and rash when I was younger. Now though I'm a lot different." He said looking at her with a smile.

"Oh." Nuishan smiled back warmly, shaking her head. "That was her mistake, anyone would be lucky to be with a kind and brave fox like yourself." Suddenly, she looked away, realizing the words she had just spoken. The female fox jumped up, nudging Rendo. "Lets head onwards, yes? The tribe can't be that far!"
