Feroku Diaskie  G36C with infrared mount, EOtech magnifier and Holosight. 15 round .308 magazine. Foregrip and Bipod. Thumb hole stock with cheek rest. OOOOOH-RAHHH. put a 30 round mag on that and it will be my ne favorite gun

i would take a remington model 700 XHR 30-06 rounds with a bushnell trophy XLT multi-x reticle as a scope 3nodding

If you would read and comprehend correctly, I said 5.56 30 round magazine.
And It doesn't matter how much ammo you have if you waste it in the first day of hell.
And I'll admit, I'm not a 'perfect' shot just like every one here. No one is a complete badass and gets nothing but headshots. So of course you will get a few bad shots and have to waste a bit more than you intend.

Something along these lines. I prefer weapons used during a time, as my friend put it, 'where men were men' and didn't care about comfort, they cared about killing s**t. I think a Jungle Carbine with scope would do the trick nicely.

I'd be the one camping out in the gun store, waiting for any invaders who dare to walk in. sounds like a shitstorm magnet for looters buy one good gun beforehand, and stockpile ammo. better than risking your life every single day protecting a mountain of guns that everyone knows about and wants.

death angel712 Archduke wonderwaffle A group of militia armed with hunting rifles and such wouldn't last long against an APC or a helicopter. In my opinion, it's best to just get a gun and go guerilla. I agree. It doesn't matter how gun friendly your state is, once they roll on you with tanks, you're done. IED's or .50bmg's can ******** up a tank's treads pretty good. only need to knock out one side to immobilize a tank. no need to hit both treads.
