Kazuki rushed out into action after waking up from a lovely dream and sleep he was having on the sofa. He exited headquarters with his trusted digimon hanging on his head. "Hurry! We're late!" Terriermon exclaimed with it's ears spread out wide. "I know!" Kazuki yelled as he sprinted out the door, headed for Dragon Eye Lake.

Kazu awoke to find the base empty. "Wh-whaaat! Veemon where did they go?!"
"Dragon Eye lake! I didn't have the heart to wake you up"
"Gahhhh!"
Kazu rushes to Dragon Eye lake.

King awoke in the base, later than most. He got up and went to the Knights' fridge, when something caught his eye: a note on the refrigerator door.
"Attention all members," King read. "When you see this message please report to Dragon Eye Lake." After he finished reading, King, less than hastily, got dressed in his normal clothes and grabbed his digivice, walking outside. "Patamon, digitize!" Once his Patamon came out, King slid a card through his digivice. "Digivolve into Imperialdramon!" Patamon underwent many changes, ending with a change into the mighty dragon Digimon Imperialdramon. King hopped on the beast's back and they flew off to Dragon Eye Lake.

[Enter Kazuki and Terriermon from Dragon Eye Lake]
"What is wrong young tamer?" Alphamon asked as Kazuki entered headquarters with a gloomy look on his face. "Have you brought the memory?" "Sorry Alphamon, we failed to retrieve it." Kazuki said in dishonor as well as giving off a sigh. "It's alright. We shall retrieve the next one. Do not fret. The Spirits may have the upper hand now, but we shall end this with our win." Kazuki took a seat on the sofa while returning his Terriermon to his digivice.
"Let this be a lesson to all." Alphamon stated as he put his hands behind his back. "Even if you get knocked down, get back up. And don't stop at it. We may have not retrieved the memory this time, but we will all the other times. Let us keep going and not stop."

Kazu enters and flops onto the sofa "I can't beleive we lost the memory... I couldn't help at all!!!" Kazu buries his head in his hands, Veemon is greatly upset by Kazu's behaviour.

Jax enters a bit slowly. His failure to claim the memory weighed heavily on him. He feels like all he did was hinder the team.
Jax takes a seat on the couch to collect himself.
After a while had passed, Jax finally decides his next course of action.
"hey, Candlemon, do you mind sitting out the next battle?)
"Huh? Why?"
Jax shifts uncomfortably.
"Well, Boltmon's attacks weren't very effective against milleniummon, and you were almost deleted. I'm thinking that I should convince Ghoulmon to help us out."
Candlemon grumbles huffily.
"Fine then, I really don't care anyway. I'm going to need the rest. So whatever, do what you want."
Jax sighs in distress over Candlemon's attitude.
"Oh come on Candlemon, I'm not replacing you. So stop acting like that."
Jax exits, still arguing with Candlemon.

King walked into the base rubbing his head with Patamon on his shoulder, noting the looks on the others' faces. "Guess we lost," He said, then heard what Claire said. "That could work! Pursuit, digitize!" He held out his digivice and a Guilmon appeared from it. "I found Pursuit in the Spirits' territory as an egg with digicode floating around it. Once he hatched, the digicode entered my digivice and I figured out he could do this." King swiped a card into his digivice and pointed it at Pursuit, and they fused into a Lobomon.
"We could use me to infiltrate the Spirit base and when they aren't suspecting it, we can take them down and take the digimemory." Lobomon said in a voice that was a fusion of King's and Pursuit's.

Kazu looks at the floor, "Why am I so useless here?" He thought to himself, his D-Power had filled nearly to halfway with strange bars, but Kazu hadn't noticed, He just sat with his head in his hands trying to think of a way to help.
"You ok?" Veemon asked, but Kazu did not look up.

Alphamon crossed his arms and as a smirk came from his face his. "They've much to learn." He said before turning around and heading back to his main office for any reports needed to be given.
Kazuki flew off to a giant fridge that was filled with drinks. He popped out a bottle of coke and flipped open the cap. "Aye, guys. Don't feel down. We'll win the next one for sure! For now, let's regroup back our feelings into a power of confidence and not let one defeat stop us." A chug of coke went down Kazuki's throat and as he pulled the bottle away from his lips, a taste of satisfaction came out. "Ahhh."
