Phoenixfire shrieked when Landry began to grab at her and bring her back to where he could finally get what he wanted. She did her best to scurry away from him but felt his grip encircle her ankle and begin to drag her towards him. Phoenix was growing more terrified of what awaited her by the second and kept grabbing at the apron and trying to twist her leg until she could free herself of this evil, no matter how hopeless this all was.

Landry pulled with both arms as hard as he could, not caring if he injured her ankle or seperated it completely. He gave one last big yank and pull her out from her hideout.

Phoenixfire released her hold on the apron and gritted her teeth as she felt a twinge of pain go up her leg. This was it; this would be her final showdown with Landry because it was only a matter of time one of the two emerged victorious. Phoenixfire was still terrified but she could no longer run for she was exhausted from all the goings-on in this match. She would have to stand her ground the best she could and fight with all her available strength.

Landry tried to grab tightly onto a length of Athena's long red hair so she could pull her up, rear back, and give her a stiff backhand across her face.

Phoenixfire yelped and began to weep at the sting of Landry pulling at her hair to bring her to her feet. She just wanted this horror to be over so she could go home and recover from this travesty. Phoenix cried out even harder when she felt Landry's hand come across her face. Where was her tag partner in all of this? Why had he not interfered yet? Phoenixfire held a hand to her face as she waited for the next blow, fearful of what awaited her.

Shanahan finally came running from the back, sprinting faster than most men could at his size. He rushed down the ramp and around the ring until he got Landry in his sights, attempting a full force spear on the man!
((Landry will be right back, had to get lunch.))

Landry was about to ram Athena's back into the stiff ring apron, when he heard the huge cheering reaction from the audience and he knew something was wrong. So he threw his prey down and turned around to see what it was, and low and behold he was nearly speared out of his boots!

After landing the spear, Shanahan wasted no time to mount on Landry and attempt a flurry of fists to his face, The God of Punk's rage at a boiling point.

Phoenixfire was blown away when Landry finally released her and she fell to the floor, landing on her side. To have been let go like that was nothing short of amazing, but why had he done it? In her ears she could hear the roar of the crowd and looked up to see Shanahan going for a spear on Landry, letting his rage set the following course of the match.

Landry tried to cover up again, but this time it was different. Shanahan would not be denied. He couldn't buck him off again, he couldn't protect himself from all his shots. The pain was comming.

Shanahan stopped the punches and got off of Landry, taking a step back. He then went back on the assault, attempting to pick up Landry and throw him into the steel steps!

Landry was hurled into the steps like a toy, flipping in the air and toppling the steps like legos.

Matt pushed the steps aside, nearly knocking them into the fans. He then walked over to Landry and looked down at the man.
"Where's your fight, b***h? Ain't as tough as you used to be, are ya 'Heartbreaker'!?"
Shanahan then attempted to pick Landry up by his hair and throw him into the ring, wanting to get this match back to where it belonged.

Landry was thrown into the ring with ease. He stood up weakly, dazed and confused as to why he was being beaten up so badly by a man he's never lost to!

Matt slid into the ring, and went straight back to the beatdown. He attempted grab Landry by his hair again, and pull him in for a DDT!
