I know why it didn't have any of the requirements! Because the requirements haven't been officially released yet! So it wasn't their fault! The only thing that's known is that you'll need the disc drive!

FireBrandt PiousCorn FireBrandt Sormani [Spud_Man] Ok, from what I've heared you just need a DVD rom, but a good graphics card won't hurt. I've changed my mind, I'm getting it on computer! 3nodding You'll need quite a bit more than a DVD Disc Tray. A good video card is a neccesity. The graphics on this game are going to be unparalleled for quite a while, even on the Xbox 360. In that sense, you would need more than just a good video card, as well. You would need an excellent video card. I figure two Nvidia 6600's in SLI mode ought to do the trick (a feature that isn't available with radeon - two video cards linked together for twice the power) I believe I've got a single Nvidia 6600 in mine, but I know my computer'll be able to run it no problem. Even without the requirements, this thing is a gaming beast. Besides, if it can't run Oblivion, I'll cry, and noone wants to see that. Trust me, noone. really? I'd probably flip out, grab sunder and keening and start kicking some serious computer salesman a**. Yeah, I'd definetly just cry.

Alright, I was browsing GameFAQs, and they had some information on the Video card needed. Quote: 1.2.2 What are the system requirements? Still unspecified, however it should run fine on the Xbox 360. Note: If playing on PC, your GPU must support Shaders 2.0 (but support for Shaders 3.0 is a plus). 1.2.4 What processors support shaders 2.0? For NVidia: * GeForce FX 5200 and above For ATI: * Radeon Xpress 200 and above * Radeon 9550 and above Hint: Check the card spec sheet So ya, if your card is above this, congragulations, you probably still need a processor and some ram.

I'm lucky, because I have an acceptable card, and I most likely won't need a processor or some ram.

Well keep in mind, even though your card might support Shaders 2.0, it doesnt mean the card will run oblivion. It still might not be powerful enough.
This is why im going to wait until AFTER oblivion comes out to get it. Ill have enough money to get a nice powerful computer, as apposed to buying bare minimum now.

I'm trying not to buy a new video game, just in case I have to buy a new video card when Oblivion comes out. I find it hard. I bought five games since Christmas, and I've gotten back into Civilization IV. I've already played through Black and White Two and Knights of the Old Republic Two, I'm stuck on Age of Empires III, I'm getting bored with Dungeon Siege Two, and I'm none too enticed to play Doom 3 in the middle of the freakin' night.
I want a new video game, probably an RTS, but I can't buy one; If I need to buy something to upgrade my computer, I want to have the money!

Doom is the best when you play it in the Middle of the Freaking Night. (And Half Life 2's "We Don't Go To Ravenholme level, but I'll be quiet about that. Quiet and secretive.)

I almost bought F.E.A.R, but the store screwed up and I had to return in. That's when I stopped buying video games. Not because of their mistake, but because that's when I realized that I might need some more things to play Oblivion. Half-Life 2 was below average. FPS games aren't my favorite type. Some are, like Halo 2, and all the Unreal games, but it's just not my favorite genre. I hated Call of Duty 2. I'm gonna check out my specs based on the newly release information, and then I might decide to buy F.E.A.R.

I don't really have a favorite when it comes to video games, I just like well made and not sports games myself. But I personally think that F.E.A.R. is worth buying. It's a wholly amusing game.
