Nike loves her mothers deeply, and looks to their example for everything. Their beauty and strength are something she prizes above all else (though staying clean ranks pretty high up there too). So desperately does she want to grow up and be as strong as Barasuishou, and as beautiful as Narcissa, that she is overly critical of her own flaws. As a fawn, Nike will spend most of her time watching, and worshiping her mothers, listening to their every word, and chastising her siblings should they disobey their mothers. In her mind, they are perfection incarnate, and she and her siblings should live up to their example. While she may come off as cold and straight laced to her siblings, she loves them deeply and quite enjoys their company. As a yearling, she would begin to realize her faults, creating an issue for Nike. While her mothers undoubtedly have their flaws, Nike has idolized them to such an extent, that all she can see are her own flaws. She maximizes her own flaws, hates them, but does her best to hide them from anyone who might see. She wants so desperately to be as beautiful as her mother, Narcissa, but sees it as an impossibility. Narcissa is the most beautiful thing she has ever seen, and in Nike's mind, to even try to match her Mother would be a failure. Instead, she drives herself to be as strong and fierce as Barasuishou. Beauty must be born, but strength can be cultivated.
Now an adult, Nike seems to have calmed down quite a bit, although the hind has also begun to retract from the world. Her world is little more than foggy impressions of color, light and shadow now, as her eyes have become almost completely useless. With no super powers to guide her along, she is highly dependant on her beloved Atlas. The two are litterally inseprable, and the devoted little chibin is not only solely responsible for Nike's obsessively neat and clean appearance, but also has taken it upon himself to act as a little guide of sorts, warning when someone or something might be close by, even steering the hind away from obstacles gone unseen by her bad eyes. Regardless of his size, the little chibin is fearless when it comes to protecting his lady, and will fuss, and chitter, even bite any presence he finds unacceptable. His temper, and over all demeanor have lost their playful nature, towards all but his lady. Anyone he does not know will likely be as bullied as Atlas can manage before Nike demands he be civil. And when she does call him off, it doesn't stop the little creature from glaring at you like it's all your fault.
As an adult, her focus is on learning to adapt to her imparment. Though her eyes will not get muh worse than they are now, she is still adjusting to not being able to see. Without her eyes, she doesn't quite seem as vain as some others in her family, but make no mistake. If you are clumsy, or smelly, she'll let you know rather quickly. Rudeness, however, she will not tolerate. Blind does not mean weak, and Nike will swiftly point that fact out with the lash of a hoof. She prides herself on her stregnth, and unlike her sisters, will obsess over her regiment of exercise and discepline while Atlas keeps her appearance in order. Blind or not, she can, and will hurt you if needed. She no longer thinks of herself as ugly, but strong. Confidence has come along with her training, and while she still obsesses over her flaws, and strains to live up to perfection, it is no longer an impossible goal, but rather, a worthy challenge.
