Darkness SurroundsShale stared at Sian walking away, shaking her head. "Nobody says goodbye anymore..." she muttered to herself, glaring at her feet. Sighing, Shale turned to Andrew and gave him a weak smile. "Bye, Andrew. Thanks for the knife. It's been nice meeting you, and I hope we can see each other again soon on less.. dangerous terms." She turned towards the hall with her room and padded down it, pushing open her slightly ajar door. Shale went inside and closed the door behind her, eyeing her bed with distaste. Death Abounds

Gilligan walked down the hall, followed by a new guy, different than the one that brought her to this place. "Hm, this place isn't half bad..." she murmmered, he words coated in sarcasm. "Well hello there!" she said to a person she saw walking down the hall. "Kid you need to learn to shut up around here if you don't want us to kill you" said the guy behind her. He shoved Gilligan's head down so that she was looking at the floor. The turned around a corner and was pushed into a room, second on the left. There was a steel plate hammered in above the door that read "457". "Home sweet home...." Gilligan said as the door was slammed behind her.

"When did life become so grim for us" he whispered to himself. Andrew crawled under the bed and opened up the ventilation vent "I guess I'll meet you later then" he welded the vent shut then started to crawl through the dirty vents. After a good half hour Andrew saw a girl in a room that peaked his interest, the girl in the room had Brown hair and looked like she was new "hey you....yea you" his eyes glowed green behind the vent because of his night vision "what's your name?".

((going away for the week end biggrin don't know how often I will be able to post D: ))
Gilligan looked around until she spotted green eyes glowing above her. "My name? Gilligan. What's yours?" she smiled."Its nice to know not everyone around here wants you dead. Unless op course Mr. Eyes, you want me dead as well? Then again, based on the fact that you are crawling through the vents, I would assume that you are here for the same reason I am here. Being different. What can you do?"

"My name is Andrew but Mr.Eyes sounds good" Andrew cut open the vent with his flame then welded it back shut when he was in the room. "as you can see I can weld and melt metal with my torch" His cat like structure stuck out in the room " and don't worry I'm not here to kill you...but what's your power?"

"Yeah, I've been told I'm good with nicknames." She stuck out her tounge. The smell of the metal burning made her wrinkle her nose. "These people are so stupid, putting a vent in my room....I'm glad you don't want to kill me." she said as Andrew entered her room. "Me? I'm a shape shifter."

"really let me see" he said in amazement as he folded his legs. he rubbed his palms because they were cold "so how did you get here".

Gilligan looked at him, confused. "If you're cold, can't you light a fire and warm up...?" she sat down in front of him. "Alright let me see....." she breathed out slowly and closed her eyes. A few seconds later a cat sat curled up in her place. "I was at the store getting some food for myself and they caught me. I don't know much else. My mom is probably freaking out though...." she said, still as a cat.

Andrew looked at Gilligan "well it burns my fur actually". He waited for her transformation to finish "aaww you're so cute" he petted her. "that's got to suck though" Andrew continued to pet her "you are so fluffy"

Sian arrived at his room. He opened his room door and walked in. He laid on his bed face-down rembering the time before he was dragged here. "Good times..."he murmered to himself.

Gilligan smiled. "Why thank you sir. I'm sorry about your fur......" she allowed herself to purr while she was being pet. "I like cats. I can change this too." she said as her tail grew spikes. "My mom probably thinksI ran away. I've been threatening to do that for a while."

Andrew looked down at the floor "everybody I knew probably forgot about me " He scratched behind Gillgan's ear. "I want to get out one day" he looked out of the small window in the cell "what about you?"

"Thats not true. I can garuntee that at least one person thinks about you from time to time. I know you and I haven't forgotten you. And the thing about escaping...thats gunna be easy for me." Gilligan smiled and transformed into her human self.

"well thats because I'm right in front of you" Andrew bent tried to bend his arm a different way "and unlike you I can't change into a pretty kitty" Andrew bent his arm back to how it was "so what are you planning to do if you do escape?"/

"Well sir, for all you know I could have short term memory loss." She moved from the floor to her bed and stared at the floor for a few moments. "I guess I'll just find some place to live and try not to get captured again...and I guess I'll help you escape. You entertain me." Gilligan smiled at Andrew.
