"Emorein Nijker Eron!" Laura yelled, her hands infront of her, and the fire sheild formed blocking the ice. She sighed with relief.

Elf4God enjoyed the demonstrations, but his stomach started to let him know that it was almost lunchtime. He kept one eye on Volrath to make certain that he wouldn't get smacked with ice unawares.

Volrath smiles at Laura's attempt "Good form, a bit zealous though." he extinguishes a bit of fire left behind once her shield faded. "subtlety gives you more control over your shield. with a loud shout like that you get a shield, but it's much harder to control size and shape. You laura Get a B+. you may take your seat." Volrath looks at his watch and nods. "we have time for one more before class ends. Elf4God, will you please come up front for your turn. Everyone else your turn is durring tommorrows class."

Alasse was relieved that she didn't have to show the class today, but she did want to get it over with. She clapped at Laura's attempt and silenced herself once it was Elf4God's turn.

Laura wished she hadn't been so nervous, and maybe she'd of done better. Nonetheless, she took her seat, which was next to Alasse's.

Alasse turned to look at Laura. She patted the girl's shoulder. "Don't worry, you did fine." She whispered.

Elf4God got up and advanced to the head of the classroom, facing Volrath.

Volrath waits for a few minutes leaving Elf4od to wonder when he was going to cast the spell. Hoping to catch him off guard he starts to organize his desk and then "Erom mi casta enete!" the icy bolt is sent whizzing past Elf4God into the mirror across the room where it reflects and heads towards Elf4God's back.

Elf4God stood ready, every sense alert to Volrath's shuffling papers. Out of nowhere the icy bolt whizzed toward him but he could see it was going to miss. He turned just in time to see it hit the mirror and reflect toward him. "Clever..." he thought as he shouted "Emorein Nijker Eron!" with both hands extended toward the iceball, which promptly dissolved into a mist. Elf4God smiled and quickly turned back toward Volrath just in case he wanted to hurl another while he was distracted.

"nice, very nice... As a class you are all progressing very well. Elf4God you get an A. Now class is dismissed for now. Next class we will wrap up testing, and move on to the next defensive spell." Volrath turns to his desk without another wors and begins going over some paperwork.

Laura smiled slightly at Alasse, then stood and left the classroom when class was dismissed.

Alasse smiled back at Laura. She left the classroom as soon as it was okay to go.

Elf4God stood outside the door with the other students at regular classtime and read the note on the door in silence.
