8D;; U-UH, I have no idea if you guys are still open for new families, pffff. OTL But I thought I'd give it a go anyhow. ;; ----- Mafia Family Name: Essenzia
Family Symbol:

Family Motto: Aurea mediocritas - The golden mean
Family Base Location:
Tokyo, Japan
Available number of members: 1/7
Family Description and History:

At its fifth generation, the Essenzia famiglia is a fair bit younger than some of the other families throughout the world. Originating in Italy, the Essenzia famiglia has always been a small group that prided itself on neutrality. Their family motto-- Aurea mediocritas (or “The golden mean”)—reflects their desire to find a peaceful middle between opposing families or factions.
Their neutral standpoint can be seen as both good and bad. While they will openly befriend other families, they will very rarely officially ally themselves with other organizations. In the case that they do, it’s usually temporary, and simply because they happen to be fighting for the same goal. Some families may find this off-putting and therefore do not find it desirable to have any relations with Essenzia at all. On the other hand, the Essenzia’s unbiased viewpoints may prove to be beneficial in some cases.
What also serves as one of the most prominent points of this group is that, while the guardians were made up of both men and women, the boss of the family has always been of the female gender. Essenzia Primo, a young Italian woman named Grazia, started the group as an attempt to promote peace and serve as a neutral family among all the others. As women were not regarded very highly during her time, Grazia’s status as boss—and the fact that her daughter later took over—was her subtle way of proving that she was just as capable of fighting and leading as the next male-led families around her.
There was a lull in activity during the fourth generation, as Essenzia Quarto—who had tired of the dangers and responsibilities of mafia life—disbanded the group and moved to relatively peaceful city of Tokyo. She spent years in relative peace, having married and had a daughter with a man she met while living in Japan.
However, this quiet life came to a stop when her daughter, Nadia, turned nineteen. Upon hearing the news of the Vongola family’s disappearance, and upon learning that some of the older families were suddenly rising again, Essenzia Quarto knew that the Essenzia famiglia had to do the same. Only this time, it was not her who would have to lead the new set of guardians, but her daughter.

Since Churro is deleting a lot of the Family profiles, and the guild is being revamped I got the okay to have a new family from him (so if I'm not supposed to, blame him) I kid ^^ Anyways, posting my character profile in the profile acceptance area. And I apologize for a short history here...
Mafia Family Name: The Chesnokov Family
Family Symbol:

Family Motto: Istiny. Krovʹ. Zheleznyĭ. (Truth. Blood. Iron.) This translates to mean that truth can be found through battle (battle = blood of the Motherland as well as the enemy and iron of both sides)
Family Base Location: Moscow, Russia
Available number of members: 1/25 (since there will be less families, trying to have more available members)
Family Description and History: The Chesnokov Family was originally viewed as a dishonorable group of thugs. Throughout a dozen generations, the Chesnokov family was renowned for being the ruling group when it comes to human trafficking, drug trafficking, robberies and money laundering. The guild was first founded by Alexander Chesnokov in the late 19th century. Through the 20th century, the generation heads went by fast (the second boss died after two days in office, to name the shortest term), with only a couple staying more tha 10 years in office due to extreme corruption and competition. The 11th Generation boss served the longest term with 12 years, though in the end even he died an unnatural death. Though even with this past, none view it as a "curse" of any source. Death has simply become such a part of everyone's lives that they simply dismiss it as nothing. Even when Hyun-Jung was a member of the family, there were acts of corruption and lawlessness. However, when the teenage girl rose to power, she sought to change their image. Through her charisma, Hyun-Jung showed the members of the Chesnokov family what it meant to truly be a family. Now, though they still deal in mafia business, the 13th Generation of the Chesnokov family is know as one of the most honorable families among the mafia.
