Sarukin grabbed the apple and took a bite. Since he offered, I might as well eat another one. He waved Jinsoku off, shooing him off to bed. Sarukin would get some rest later, but right now, he needed to prove his mettle in Shougi. He went in his room, stumbling on the way, and came back with the chess board. He didn't know if Aoi saw him fall, but he got over it quickly. After explaining the rules of Shougi to Aoi, they started playing. Sarukin was dismayed when she won the first game. Throughout the night, they kept playing Shougi. It wasn't a game anymore, it was WAR! They were about to start their 10th game, Aoi in the lead by 2 games.
"So.... Aoi. How do you like it here? I can close the window if you are hot. Or move the couch if its too close to your room. We could also go shopping for food tomorrow, as Jin and I usually just buy meat." Sarukin grinned, knowing that he usually chose the food. Sarukin ate a lot, his high metabolism a gift from god. While Sarukin was slightly nervous about the genin test tomorrow, he was always a bright student, not needing to study like others. He just hoped that Jinsoku was ready.

Aoi smiled at the fact she was actually pretty good at the game (as Sarukin bragged) was hard to beat him in. She looked up at Sarukin, as he asked her a couple of questions. " Actually, I'm perfectly fine how the room is... though I wouldnt mind if I could go shopping for groceries with you guys..... Oh yes: yokushi*." Aoi said because she had a weird taste of food, and she could eat ramen all day if she wanted to..... but she didnt have enough money to pay for it. But for now, she was happily winning the mini-tournament of shogi she was playing.

Sarukin sighed as Aoi defeated him again. It was a major blow to his ego, but he was glad he was beaten by Aoi, of all people. At least Jinsoku isn't around to see it. Sarukin then realized it was late. He needed didn't want to be exhausted for the genin test tomorrow. If he failed, he would never be able to live with himself. "I gotta go rest up for tomorrow. You can stay up and read if you'd like, although we don't have much books. Feel free to take anything out of the fridge." Sarukin packed up the Shogi board and pieces and turned to his bedroom. "Good night, Aoi. Oh yea, and could we maybe keep this "Shougi tournament" to ourselves, or more specifically, away from Jinsoku?" He winked at her and waved goodbye, heading towards his room. Tomorrow is going to be a big day.

Aoi smiled as went to bed, and she walked over to the window. Well.... Now I know what 'perk' the nibi has, even though it isnt the greatest thing in the world....But it's better than nothing... Aoi frowned as she looked at what happened to the obliterated forest. How could Kuza get herself into that? really, how? Aoi thought upsetly as she went to the master bedroom to put her stuff in there. "I accept you as you are. It seems that you think of the Nibi as a curse but I see it as you're gift. You are more then welcome to stay here with us, your new kin. We will protect you with everything we have." The small flashback went on, as she on her own, went to bed quietly.... she needed the rest, nightmares or not.

Sarukin woke up, his chakra fully replenished. He looked around his room, burped aloud, and got out of bed. After taking a shower and brushing his teeth, he found himself in the kitchen. Hm......Ramen. Sweet! He saw that there were only 3 ramen packets left. He needed to go grocery shopping after his exam today. Maybe Aoi and Jinsoku could come with him. Sarukin thought back to last night, staying up playing Shougi with Aoi....and losing. He sighed. I better not be losing my touch. He took his bowl of ramen and set it on the table, the first one awake out of their "wolf pack".

Aoi blinked, rubbing her head, for the night was over already, and she felt completely refreshed. Aoi then gotten out of bed, and left for the kitchen. She had pajamas that were too big for her on, and yawned. "Morining Saru-san...." Aoi rubbed her eyes and sat at the table, writing down a 'To-do' list, that was actually quite long. the top thing on her list, was something strange, and was funny too. it simply said 'Create a useful invention.' To Aoi, it was actually top priority, and made of her thing of making a chakra transferal system, in which made chakra the element they were suppose to be. Without knowing, the design of the first ever chakra bombs emerged.

Sarukin sucked in a noodle as he glanced at Aoi's "to-do list". It seemed very..... interesting. He raised an eyebrow on the first thing on her list. "An invention? That sounds very cool. If you ever make a fortune selling it, remember to give your Good ol Pal Sarukin some money." He grinned, picking up his bowl. He walked in the kitchen and washed his bowl. He came back a couple minutes later, having an apple in his hands. He took a bite out of it and looked at Aoi. "Later today, me and Jin are going to go shopping. We need some food in this house.... You wanna come?"

"The invention is for the village and friends only..... I'm not techicnically going to sell it." Aoi waved her finger around, though the though of bathing in money was funny to her. "It's one of the ninja weaknesses, dont you know that?" Aoi frowned, though then he mentioned picking up some groceries. "Of course, I would like to go.....It's so i can see what food you guys would like, and it makes it easier to learn how each other person in the apartment is like." Aoi said logically, though really she wanted to simply say that she wasnt used to having other people in the house, and was curious on what types of food they like eating..... but oh well.

XXXA loud howl could be heard from Jinsoku's room. That meant that he had awoken. Jinsoku stretched as he rose from his bed. Rubbing his eyes while he walked, Jinsoku went into his bathroom and freshened up. After taking a hot shower he slipped into silk red velvet robe. His long jet black hair was still wet but he let it hang and air dry as he began to walk into the living room. Jinsoku had smooth golden bronze colored skin with tattoos all over his body in a tribal pattern. He looked at Sarukin and Aoi with a perplexed look. "Wow, you all are up already?" he said while walking to the counter and whipping another apple at Sarukin. "How did you sleep Aoi?" Jinsoku walked over to Aoi and gave her a light hug as he smiled at her.

"Very well I guess..... though the bed was alot softer than what I'm used to..... But in time i will be use to it..." Aoi sad politely though she found it funny at the fact when he had woken he howled..... she found it really funny, but didnt had the guts to say so. Aoi once again blushed slightly when he hugged her...... she wasnt used to being hugged by guys, really.

XXXJinsoku was ready and excited for today, he couldn't wait to become a genin. He didn't have the strength to fight back another howl but this one was more because he was happy. He looked at Sarukin with eyes filled with ambition. "You ready Saru? Let's get going. I think the raikage is in her office at this time." Right after saying that Jinsoku ran into his room and put on his regular black academy clothing. He looked at Aoi and his smile grew bigger. "You gonna come and cheer us on Aoi? We really gonna need you're support. So watta ya say? And staring stop staring into outerspace you idiot, its time to get amped up!" Jinsoku jumped on the table and let out a loud lion's roar. He couldn't wait to get out there and do the test. If he passed he would be a genin and he would be that much closer to accomplishing his goal. He jumped off the table, landing on all fours as he ran towards the door. "Let's go guy! C'mon!" He opened up the door as he let out another howl.

She was unsure whom he called an idiot, but it made her upset. Does he do that alot? Aoi frowned, though she thought maybe it was better for them to go on their own.... she did have to do training to do, right? But they proabably expected her to go though..... Eh.... i dont know what to do.....

Sarukin barged into the apartment building, slightly exhausted by running from the pond. He shrugged it off, looking for Aoi. She must be pissed, Sarukin promising to go shopping with her. He just hoped she wasn't too mad, wanting to establish a good friendship. Plus, he wanted to tell her about his genin test. They were both genin now and it was hard for Sarukin not to show off, it being in his nature. "Aoi? You here?"
