The Tentacle Lover Forgive me for this sudden OKHEREGOESTHIS'LLBEALONGSHOT request. I'm on zOMG a lot, and do PS and SS/EB runs with folks from all over. But Often I can't understand them. Is there a way a script could wiggle it's way into the chat panel and use Google Translate to change their language to English? Unfortunately, no. zOMG is written in Flash, so I doubt I'd be able to have that kind of control over it.

Highpass MarcyTyson Thank Yew, Justyn! Okay, other additions to the above, I really HATE having to RIGHT CLICK and OPEN IN NEW TAB in my /mygaia/ and /mygaia/usernotices/ - any way to left click to make it pop open in a new tab like a link in a thread post? AND...installed the FavIcon changer...any way to make each account show a different icon, so I can tell who's on without having to hit the Home key a bunch? That would be cool...now to figure out how to change the styles I just installed...heheheheh...Thanks guys, you are pearls in the pit of swine! EDIT: Okay, figured out how to change the styles, again, YEW RAWK!!! Re: open in new tab: if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, clicking that should open any link in a new tab. Re: favicon changer: I have no idea what you're talking about. can you explain another way? (though I think your problem might be solved by something that should be released soonish) RE: newtab - still a pain, would pref it just open new window when clicked, I don't always have my mouse plugged into my laptop...(not everyone has a desktop, guys *wink*) RE: favicon - I have 18 accounts. It would be nice to have the favicon match the account I'm using, is that possible at all? OR, would it require a custom IF/THEN list for my accounts? If a custom list is required, I could handle that, just tell me what I'd need to clone and change. And I think this would be a Style, any way to change the link colors in '/mygaia/' and '/mygaia/usernotices/' so that even after leaving the mygaia page, when ya come back, the UNVISITED LINKS will still be different color until clicked? (AND, they'll auto open in new tab) Also nice if we could select the unvisited, visited, and active link colors. Thanks, and you guys rawk! I tried someone else's multi-account script, and it doesn't work anymore, which rilly sux, plan on doing one? I'd like it! And I figgered out the mystery module, heheheh...gonna PM ya some Qs bout that...

MarcyTyson RE: newtab - still a pain, would pref it just open new window when clicked, I don't always have my mouse plugged into my laptop...(not everyone has a desktop, guys *wink*) Alternatively, you can hold CTRL and click the link to open it in a new tab. Further, CTRL+SHIFT+CLICK will open the link in the new tab and then focus on the new tab. This behaviour is the same in Firefox 4 and Chrome 10. Quote: RE: favicon - I have 18 accounts. If a custom list is required, I could handle that, just tell me what I'd need to clone and change. We talked about this in PMs, but leaving my response here for record: not possible with CSS, and the favicon replacement tweak is unsupported for the time being anyway. This is possible with a style, but it would literally involve changing the link colours based on whether or not you've visited the page. It wouldn't have anything to do with keeping that "highlighting" you see with unread notices. I'll look into it, but I'd likely release it as a "custom" (i.e. unofficial) style. also in order to change the colors you'd have to alter the CSS, but that's very simple and if I make it I'll show you how.

Yeah, all you suggest works, tho it's still a two-handed operation when the rat isn't plugged in, is there not just a way to add a style to do it? I make most of my pages open in new tab with target="_blank" added in, in fact, 99.999% of the web, I'd like the links I click open in a new tab...so this wouldn't be just a Gaia mod wink Quote: Quote: And I think this would be a Style, any way to change the link colors in '/mygaia/' and '/mygaia/usernotices/' so that even after leaving the mygaia page, when ya come back, the UNVISITED LINKS will still be different color until clicked? The hilighting? it would be nice to make THOSE sticky like they used to be, until clicked or three days old, but no, I'm talking the link text itself, and it could be done in a style. As for unnofficial, I think others would like that feature as well, default the colors as Blue for unclicked, Red for Active, Black for "been there, done that" - And I'd REALLY like for them to open in a new tab...*ducks the keyboard and mouse ya just chucked at me* wink

Sticky Checkboxes...especially the "Attach Signature" in the guilds. I'd like this to remain unchecked until I check it again rather than it defaulting to ON all the durn time. Also make it so we can add a new one with a quick edit, so we can customize our choices.
(I was told by Keist to post it here)
Thanks!

It's up for Highpass to say for sure, but I doubt he'd include a browser-wide function in the GES. If it's already out there (and I'm sure it is), no need to re-write it, right? 4laugh For example, here's one. You can edit the "ms to wait" to 0 if you want just left click->new tab. As a general rule, I don't make styles "official" unless there have been multiple requests or the style is substantial (i.e. a complete overhaul).

Keist Don't hesitate to make a request. It's what we're here for. OKAY, I've got one that everybody will want...and it HAS to be somewhere in the pages, just might take some time to find them all... Click a button {STATS} and it opens a new page of user statistics that are used NOT ONLY in the Achievements, for stuff like Male or Female (Morg or Imorg), Date of Birth (as a Gaian, when account was made), how many friends, how many posts, how many quotes, how many items, last change number of days ago, Gold and Cash amounts, how many days old, how much sold in your store, etc, etc. - ALL of the stat info Gaia uses for Achievements, plus more. It hasta be there somewhere, and if it's there, it can be reaped into a mod. Majority of the /mygaia/ lower right corner, with a lot more details...is this possible, and something people would want? I know the Power Users would go apespit over this info. Oh, AND, a button to either Print or Save to .txt file...defaults to username.txt So, ya think this would be a cool mod? Feel free to shoot me down if this is a pooter. I just think hardcore users would dig this kind of statspage. Anyone reading, quote a few lines from this to show your support!

I get a notice every time someone posts in this thread, so no need to quote. 4laugh Anyway, that request is more Highpass's sort of thing so I'll let him know you posted.
Did that left click -> new tab userscript work out for you?
Also, please don't turn this thread into a petition. gonk

I'd still like the links recolor in the /mygaia/ and /mygaia/usernotices/ - That's something we could all use, too bad we couldn't store those in a local file, so when they go and wipe all the notices again, the forums won't become a graveyard like before. I'll check that script, and thanks again!

EDIT: Where are the current Achievement stats located, if there already exists a stats more than at the lower right of the /mygaia/ page, please share the link?

Subscribe tends to tell me when someone posted, and when all they do is bump or emote, I tend to not use subscribe, I require a quote. And yeah, thanks, that one worked, tho it doesn't work for links in the popups, durnit. Might hafta do a tweak on that one. Still looking for that Shortcuts link menu I've seen, went thru about six scripts already that don't work with this version of Gaia...did they REALLY do that big an overhaul in '09?

Stats in the sense of achievements done already?http://www.gaiaonline.com/achievements/ *sigh* Call me Miss Understood. The stats are in each page. All I'm asking is a click to show them all clearly, all in one spot, rather than running around page to page (I am on wifi, meaning when I click, it can take up to 12 minutes for a page to fully load) looking for it all. Like, how does it know how many noobs we've quoted? I know you need 10 for the achievement, tho the stat for it still must exist, unless it's internal to the server, and even then, it can still be called...I'd like to know how many are left, as counting manually doesn't always work right, there has to be a variable somewhere that tells this, and it would be nice to have all of those stats in one place, rather than having to hit 40 pages to collect it all. And NOT JUST Achievements...ALL stats, One Page. I guess I'm asking for a kidney, here...sorries to waste your time. When you do figure out exactly what I meant in the first place, let me know.
