((I'm taking two characters, thanks. ^^)) Name: Natasha Niccals age: 13 role: Orphan bio: Natasha and her twin brother Malakai lived with their father for most of their lives. The man was a notorious womaniser, gambler, and drunk, and eventually died of alcohol poisoning, leaving the kids to fend for themselves. "...YAY Alayza now you could drive us!, that saves Jerome from carrying me, and you if you aren't lazy like me." she smiled at her, "Dont be a loner up there okay, even though your older than me you can always talk to me." she smiled and then looked around, "wheres Jerome is he still in the kitchen?"

((Yeah, but I went to bed right after posting the characters, sorry. ^^))
The Niccals twins' father had died a couple of months before. The first couple of weeks after it had happened, they had lived in his house, but he had already been behind on his rent, and they had been forced to leave. For the past month and a half, they had been living on meagre offerings from a homeless shelter, until they could be transferred to more suitable lodgings. Those lodgings happened to be an orphanage.
Natasha stared up the walk at the door, fiddling with a book of matches in her pocket, waiting for her brother to get his bag out of the car that belonged to the homeless shelter volunteer who had brought them here.
Malakai finally managed to pull out his bag, full of as many books as he had been able to carry, ranging from Dr. Seuss to Faust. He smiled at the shelter volunteer, "Thanks for bringing us here!" he said cheerfully.
His twin rolled her eyes, "You already thanked her," she said as the volunteer drove off, "You're such a suck up." She adjusted her own bag on her shoulder, walking toward the door.
"So? I'm just being nice." He walked with her, hesitantly knocking on the door.

"Well then we have to wait!" Raine sat down and starred at her shoes listening to the conversation going on outside, not wanting to interupt, and waiting for the knock. She looked up instantly at the sound of the knock. "YAY new people." she cheered herself happily in her head and went to get the door. Opening the door Raine looked down. "Awwww wittle kids." she thought to herself, "Hello," Raine said calmly smiling. But Raine liking kids so much couldn't help herself, in no thought at all, she hugged them both. "AWWWW YOUR BOTH SO CUUTE~" she continued hugging them tightly, not plaining to let go anytime soon.

Natasha twitched visibly, not used to the kind treatment. Their father hadn't exactly been the nurturing type when he was alive. His form of fatherly love had been something along the lines of "Where's the rent? Awright you get dinner tonight." Being too young for work, they had had to beg on street corners long before they were orphaned.
She forced a small smile, "Er... Thanks..." she managed, doing her best to sound polite. As much as she accused her twin of being a suck-up, she didn't want to jeopardize their new home.
Malakai seemed right at home though. He cheerfully hugged the older girl back, once he had let his bag slip off of his shoulder.

Raine released them, "Awwww but Alayza i dont wanna!" Raine looked at her and pouted her. she turned at the twins, "Hi I'm Raine, I run the orphanage, i may be young but that doesn't make a difference. I can keep up with rent so that doesn't matter, plus I had a friend Milly but she doesn't come anymore. But....sorry I'm rampling again." She stuck out her hand, "Okay I'm Raine." she smiled cheerfully at the children, "Oh your the twins! I got a letter that i was getting two twins, your them!That explains!" She looked at Natasha, "Your Natasha! she turned to Malakai, And your her twin! Malakai! Which one of you is older?" she looked at them smiling, "Oh and do you want to come to the store with us?"

Natasha spoke up immediately, "I'm older."
"Liar." Malakai immediately accused, before turning to look at Raine, "We don't know which of us is older, we were left on our father's doorstep."
The female twin rolled her eyes, "Anyway, I'm prob'ly older," she said.
Malakai stuck his tongue out at his sister, before turning to the older girl again with a grin, "You said something about going to the store?"

Stellaluna stepped out of the car."Thanks,"she said as the car pulled away.She held her bags and rang the doorbell.She waited for someone to answer and sat on her luggage.
Alayza sighed.What was taking Jerome so long?She blinked at the twins.She had never met twins before.

 Jerome had apparently snuck outside when a distraction came along. Yup. New orphans. One had just left her car and was waiting in front of the door. "It's open, you know," he said as he walked up and opened the door for her.
Geez, if Raine wanted him to hurry up, she should've been standing out there first instead of him, in his opinion. "Oi, are we going or not?" he called out to her.

"Yep I'm going to the store, i plan on baking, you could help me if you'd like." she smiled at Malakai, and turned to the new girl, "I dont see why exactly you dinged the dong of my door bell, we're all out her i think...sorry I'm a bit scatter brained." She smiled, "We should all just go to the store something tell me Jerome isn't coming anymore, right after we take your bags into the house. After I'll show you guy...or guy and girls your room." She smiled cheerfully at them again, trying to make good impressions. On the other hand thinking of something else. "Jerome where are you!?!" she called into the house then out into the lawn, as if talking to it, or scolding it."
