"Thank you." She couldn't help but laugh at what was happening between the children. "If only there was a way to capture this moment in something other than our memories. I don't want this one to have faded away by the time they're grown up."
He was purring again! Rosa blew a raspberry over Korbin's hand. Darn it! Not yet... Sighing through her nose, still content with gumming her brother's hand, she held out her own hand to him in return for having commandeered his appendage, her other hand still clutching the doll.

Taran smiled softly. "We will have to tell them many stories over and over again so that they know how cute they are." He grinned at her, eating his dinner slowly while being distracted by their two children.
Korbin blinks at her hand, purr stopping suddenly. Hesitantly, he sticks a few of her fingers in his mouth, gumming them gently. Why had she blown over his hand like that? Had he done something wrong?

Mistaya laughed softly, nodding in agreement. "Many times." She finished her dinner soon enough, picking up the dishes to the counter to be cleaned.
Walking over to her sewing basket, she picked up her latest work in progress. A light coat for Korbin for the coming fall that he could grow into. "Maybe we could make journal for them. One for each, telling of their experiences growing up."
Giving her head a light, playful shake, she wiggled her fingers, feeling Korbin's gumline, searching for the teeth that had yet to break through. "Ommaka!" She giggled, shaking her head again playfully.

Taran grinned. "That's a wonderful idea, my love." They could go into the marketplace and find some empty books soon. He hoped they would appreciate it, if not in their teen years but when they were older... He finished his dinner, taking his plates to the counter with Mist's and beginning to wash them in some water he had collected earlier.
Korbin made an odd face at the feel of her fingers on his gum. It hadn't hurt, it just felt odd. Out of curiosity, he began to copy her. She shook her head, making his fingers rub against her gums more. He giggled softly.

Mistaya purred softly. If Taran thought it was a good idea, then it must be so! She looked lovingly at their children. "I think we should start it with how we reacted to the news of their coming. Each of us telling our side. And then their births, not too much detail of course. So they start the same, and then one book focuses of Korbin, and the other on Rosa."
As soon as Korbin's fingers searched around, Rosa let out a shriek. That tickled! She pulled her head back and laughed, her tail shaking from lingering effects of the tickling feeling. "Nyaa!" She squeaked, putting a hand over her mouth and laughing more.

Taran grinned, glancing at them over his shoulder when more noise picked up. He nodded at Mistaya, feeling excited. "Next time we go to market we should pick up some books for them." He had always been told many stories of the cute and little things he had done as a child.
Korbin's little ears flicked up at his sister's shrieking and laughing. It had felt odd to him too, but not enough to call up that sort of reaction. His tail lashed from side to side, his head tilted to one side.

Mistaya purred, the needles ticking softly against her thimble. "They'll have to be really thick." She said with a chuckle. "These two are all kinds of cute."
Giggles subsiding, Rosa felt Korbin's gumline again, trying to show him how much it tickled. Her free hand remained protectively over her lips, eyes smiling.

Taran laughed, finishing up his chore. "If the one we get isn't enough, we could always find another. And another." He moved easily over to her side, sitting across from her to watch her work, feeling very at peace and beginning to make a cloth doll-of a more male fashion-for Korbin with some rice inside for him to massage his gums on.
Korbin giggled a little, squirming a bit at her touch. It did feel very funny. "Phhhh" He tried to make sounds at her, but it just ended up coming out sounding oddly.

Mistaya nodded, giggling to herself. "Oh, I wish we already had those books. There's so much I'll want to write!" She was excited about the journey ahead. "I suppose I'll have to control myself and not write down every second of their lives. I would never be able to play with them if all I did was write."
Squeaking lightly as her brother tried to make noise, she finally pulled her hand back, wiping the drool off on her leg. Her little hooves ticked as she got up and trotted over to Taran. "Da! Gayanabee!" She reached a grabbing hand up, wanting to feel the inside of his mouth as well, especially since she knew he had something in there that they didn't. Teeth!

Taran couldn't help but laugh softly more. "We'll have to be picky." He looked down at Rosabella, remembering what she was doing with Korbin. He bent down, opening his mouth to let her feel.
Korbin watched his sister and father, forever curious and wanting to learn. Everything was confusing and fascinating to him. Upon hearing his mother working, he turned to watch her. "Aeeh?"

Mistaya nodded in agreement. "That will be the hard part." Watching Rosa's antics, she couldn't help but laugh. The little girl was already so forward and curious.
Flicking her ears, she smiled down at Korbin. "Want to watch sweetie?" She help her project lower for the boy to see it, but kept the sharp needle safely out of his reach.
Squinting, trying to see into the shaded mouth, her fingers explored slowly, excited by the little bumps and ridges of the white things in her father's mouth. "Ma?" She asked, peeling her lips back to expose her bare gums, trying to figure out why she didn't have teeth like Taran did.

Taran grinned at his daughter, being careful as she felt of his teeth. He tried to explain, but it just came out muffled. Their children were so cute...
Korbin wanted to play. And he wanted to play badly. Unlike his graceful sister, he couldn't take three steps without falling flat on his face and that frustrated him. He was having a hard enough time keeping balance as he bounced in place with impatience and longing to move.

 Emerging from the bedroom with her head up happily to display the braids her mother had made in her hair, she skipped over to Korbin. "Okay Korbi! What do you wanna do today?"

Taran was sitting inside, absently watching his children interact as he tried to think of another toy he could make for them. They seemed to be alright so far, but he could remember how easy it was to accidentally break a toy.
Korbin grinned happily at his sister, studying her braids for a moment. "Less go ouside, Bell. Daddy says is warm." He clumsily led her outside. "Will yous hair get messy, though?" he could tell how much she liked it.

Cocking her head, Rosa reached up a hand to pat at the new braids, a small frown on her face. "Maybe." She looked up at the clear blue sky and smiled. "But mommy can fix them if they gets too messed up." She pranced ahead into the yard. "It's so nice out Korbi! We can do anything today!" She squeaked excitedly.
Putting the hair brushes away, Mistaya came from the room and settled herself next to Taran, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning against him. "Are they really children already?" She asked with a giggle.
