Personally, I've never found myself a good story write.

I've only recently decided to make anything remotely story-like for anything other then my own entertainment.

While I want to go for stuff people who read it like, I do see what you mean.
Plus I personally don't like the concept of being too, what's the word? Erotic? No... Well, let's just say, I'm kinda going against the "don't make the character too much like yourself" suggestion.(Which personally makes little sense, but whatever.)

On a random note, I htink the mos "ero" thing I've done is accidentlly end up on a hentei manga or site, which thankfully hasn't happened lately... I think... if it did, I probably blanked out in my rush to get the hell outta there.

Finally!

Someone else who thinks like me!

You do that too huh?

The character "Hanzo" in my comics/vids is more-or-less a Walfas version of yours truly, complete with Ahoge.....sorta.
So it's more-or-less a Self Insert thing, with added stuff, since Wotan and Arukai also show up.

Next comic I make I'll have a Shout Out made to your comic. xD
So expect to see a semi-crossover, involving Yukari(Who is slated to appear in an unfinished comic) mention something about "Some weird lady in a space-thingy", and Ran(Who is also slated to appear) will mention something to the effect of "She's really bored this time...".

I may be super late (in terms of post count) in reading this, but I'll respond anyway.

Moon Rabbit Reisen
Methinks you should make the guy more act more like a real man, and have him investigate his new body rather than being a Ranma about it. You know what I mean.

Based on my interactions with people, most would probably freak out upon such a change, partially dependent on how attached they are to their masculinity.

BUT at the same time, their instincts and thought processes would be a bit different, so it might not impact people as much as they think were you to run up and go "What if..."

Either way, your suggestion definately wouldn't be considered the "real man" reaction. Especially considering the "man" part would no longer apply.

So yeah, freak out and all that.

I was never all that masculine, and for much of my post-puberty life thought of guys as a whole as immature idiots. Then of course there's my general disdain for many roles usually attributed to or expected of men, and my resentment that men play such a tiny role in the reproduction process... yeah, I wouldn't be all that horrified to suddenly become female.

Except I said most people. It's never good to take only one's own opinions into consideration when other people are involved.

Hm. Are you homosexual, Reisen?
If you took what I've just said as an offense, you're an idiot.

By the way, being both the backbone of sexual reproduction and the main catalyst for the evolutionary process is not a "tiny" role at all.

No. If anything I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body. :/

That and if I were to have a baby, I would want to actually have the baby.

Heh. I love that line.

Is it because you want to ensure your biological parenthood, or because you want to experience the birth-giving process?

To be honest, I don't really care if my children are mine, my wife's from a previous marriage, or adopted. But if I am to ever have biological children, I would desire the woman's role in reproduction, not the man's role.

But I have stuff I refuse to pass on to the next generation, and have even considered a preemptive vasectomy. I was simply saying how I would want to have biological children if I were to have them.

Actually, evolution aside, males play as small a role in reproduction as physically possible. I don't know how much you know about angler fish, but they take that to an extreme.

And then there's this one particular type of worm I learned about...
PostPosted: Fri Jun 11, 2010 4:34 am

Yeah, male gives the female his sperm, his job is done.

Then, in the case of most mammals and a few fish and reptiles, the female carries and nourishes the child in her body as it develops, giving birth once the child is ready for the outside world.

In the case of reproduction, I want the bigger role or no role at all.

Notice how I italicized the word "sexual".
