Arqueete

I've heard that Rebecca Pitcher has improved since she was on tour, too.

She was great! I saw her on broadway. At first I was all pissed that I wouldn't see Sandra Josephs, but Rebecca Pitcher was amazing! I couldn't tell the difference, really. She played a much better Christine than *twitch* miss poofy-hair Emmy Rossum! scream

What, to see the Phantom at the Paris Opera, or just to see the Paris Opera?

And what casts did you see?

I saw it twice. Once at Shea's theature (we don't have any opera houses in buffalo that I know of ^_^) It was AMAZING. I loved it so much. The second time wasn't so good. Don't ever sit UNDER the balcony-you can't see the chandeler rise or fall. Plus it was the last few weeks that Phantom was being played at Phantagous (sp?) theater and they had a guest phantom who was...well he kinds sucked. All these things lead me to having a really bad headache. >_<

Ah.. I think I got you all beat. I saw it on Broadway, a long time ago, in London with Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford, Twice in Toronto with different casts and once in Seattle. Oh! And we got to see it in Victoria as well... xd

I acutally saw Phantom of the Opera on March 28th in New York. I was really excited because I got a signed poster from the whole cast. It was really cool!

Haven't seen it on Broadway. It was in Denver, with Gary Mauer playing Erik (I'm too lazy to look in my program for the rest of the cast).

Although if it counts Franc D'Ambrosio (the longest running Broadway Phantom) came and did a show in our town, where he did a montage and MotN. It was mega wierd howhis voice became almost like another person's when he did the Phantom songs. He really had an excellent voice.

Which broadway casts did you see, Moocat? I always wanted to see Howard McGillin.

I saw it with Howard McGillan. He's the best! I think he's even better than Gerard Butler or Michael Crawford. But that's just my opinion. He was seriously awesome, though.

I saw it for the first time last summer. Gary Mauer was a great Phantom, and his wife Elizabeth Southnard (the understudy, we didn't see the actul Christine actress) was good too.

Only a few short months until I see it. It's the tour and not actually on Broadway, alas. The only musical I've managed to see on Broadway was Ragtime, which was excellent, but no PoTO.

John Cudia(sp?) is playing the Phantom on tour and I've heard great things about his turn as Raoul and have seem some brief clips of him on broadway.com.

Can't wait until June.
