Kiyoshi watched quietly as Dinnye curled up against his chest before he smiled, watching him for a long moment as he settled in and when he was sure that the other boy was sleeping comfortably he allowed himself to follow him into sleep. It didn't take long at all before the white haired pocky boy was sleeping deeply with the younger boy safe in his arms.
*****
The storm had raged through the night but the pair had slept surprisingly well despite the sound of thunder and rain, the creaking of the trees outside, and the flashes of lightning that made it seem as though strobes were going on outside the windows of the house. Kiyoshi's eyes opened up slowly, a little groan escaped from his throat as he came to, his back was aching like crazy and he felt quite stiff all over. He looked at the one he was holding before giving a little smile. While a part of him wanted to get up, stretch out, and see about finding something to help with the pain in his pain he didn't bother to move, not wanting to wake Dinnye up before he was ready.
"We are going to have to make sure you eat a good breakfast." He murmured quietly to the sleeping boy in his arms, after all the night before Dinnye had skipped out on eating his sandwich because he was so tired. Best that Kiyoshi made sure he got himself a good meal this morning to make up for it before he headed for home. He found himself wondering if his clothing was dried by now since it had been unwearable yesterday and was taken by the maids to get them taken care of.

All through the night, Dinnye slept soundly, his dreams invaded by the sweet thoughts of the other that held him so protectively. Not that he minded at all. No, infact, he wished he didn't have to wake up. he wanted the other to protect him. Long ago, or what seemed like a long time to him, he had another who had protected him, kept him self while he was still just a breakable bread stick.. Ever since the other had disappeared, he wanted nothing more to be protected once again, and with this new boy, he felt as if he finally found the protection he so earnestly craved for.
As words were softly whispered to him, his own eyes fluttered open, being able to see nothing but the milky outline of the other boy before him.
"....?" Breakfast..? Just as the thought hit his mind, his own stomach let out a loud rumble. Right... With something akin to a whine, he pushed himself up, out of Kiyoshi's arms, and gazed at the stand, reaching around blindly until he found his glasses, placing them onto his face. He then turned to face the other boy, and bent down a bit to place a kiss on his nose, before pointing to a chair across the room. Lying on the chair were Kiyoshi's clothes, as well as a note written by Elliot that read. "I'm sorry I could not see you off today, but, I've found myself rather busy today, so good luck, and I hope we can see you again!"

Kiyoshi blinked a couple times when Dinnye sat up suddenly, "Are you alright?" He asked of the boy, shifting so that he was up on one elbow and rested on it, watching his young friend as he retrieved and put on his glasses, "Ahh, I see." He said, giving him a smile before he the boy was suddenly leaning in to give him a kiss on the nose, something that caused him to flush just a little as it was an unexpected show of affection.
He turned to look over to where the boy was motioning and he smiled, "Ahhh, my clothing is ready." He said, slowly sitting up, rolled his shoulders, and gave a little groan, "Phew, I am feeling like quite an old man this morning." He said in a joking manner before he turned to swing his legs off the bed, rising up to his feet, and stretched out all over. His pain was ignored as he went to where his clothing was sitting, looking down to find a note there. He picked it up, read it over, then gave a little sigh, "It would seem your father is going to be busy today."
He found himself looking over at Dinnye in a somewhat worried manner, not sure what he thought about leaving him home alone and bored, the little boy might end up in a tree again if he were left alone to entertain himself, "How about we get dressed and see about fetching breakfast." He suggested to his little friend.

With a slight nod, Dinnye went to his wardrobe, eager to find something nice to wear. It wasn't as if he didn't have nice clothes, but something inside him wanted to impress the older boy. In the end, he gave up, simply putting on clothes that seemed to be his everyday wear. It was definitely less elaborate than what his father wore, and was made just for him, with a yummy combination of colors reflect just what he was. A melon. Luckily, the boy didn't know the other connotation that went with that word, and for now, he was happy with knowing that he was a melon. It gave him something solid to believe in, even though it made no logical sense whatsoever.
Old man..? Ah.. He was stiff.... It was another one of those things where he was helpless to do anything, but this time, he didn't feel really bad about it. He was very pleased at the fact that someone cared enough to save him and all that jazz, creating a bit of a puppy-like affection for the older boy. Almost a Florence Nightingale affect, per say.
Once dressed, he took the milk boy's hand into his own, tugging it lightly, blushing once more when his stomach began to growl. Food sounded more than a little amazing right now.

Once Dinnye was ready the boy came over to him, taking his hand to tug on it, and he easily fell into step behind him, following him as they headed toward where food could be found, "I can stay for a while if you like, so that you won't be lonely." He offered the melon boy, "I have to be at the range in the afternoon but there is plenty of time between now and then." And he didn't like the idea of leaving Dinnye all on his own, likely the over protective part of him just wanted to keep an eye on him for as long as he could.
"For now though lets worry about breakfast instead." He told him, giving the smaller pocky boy as smile. As they walked along he was starting to feel better, he just had to move around a bit to get his tight muscles easing a bit, "I wonder what there is to be had for breakfast, I normally eat a rather light meal. Are you the same?" He asked, posing his question in a manner so that Dinnye could answer by nodding yes or no.

Dinnye suddenly stopped in his tracks as the older boy offered to stay with him, shaking his head rapidly.
As sweet as everyone in the house was, it was a rather... Unpleasant place to be in during the daylight hours. Everyone here was so into their work, that was no real place to be at where one could have peace. He'd much rather have the other one leave than have him subjected to being albeit ignored by most, if not all the staff.
In a considerably less happy mood, the melon continued to lead Kiyoshi until they arrived at their destination, where on the tables were a vast amount of breakfast items, buffet style. Ah.. Impersonal, but effective... With a movement of his hand, Dinnye invited Kiyoshi to help himself, while he picked up his own plate, piling it rather high.. He was starving!

Kiyoshi had a somewhat worried look on his face as he followed along Dinnye, looking around the area where they arrived for breakfast and found... that it seemed to be waiting for them. Just it though, already made, for them to take what they wanted and nobody seemed to be around. He gave a little sighing sound in his throat as he looked down at the small boy. Was this always how he ate? Surely he must be lonely? Yet he didn't seem to want to have Kiyoshi stay with him. Perhaps he'd done something to bother him? Or maybe he enjoyed having free time without an adult around to keep an eye on him at all times. It would make sense he supposed.
After giving the food a once over Kiyoshi set about making himself up a plate, taking things that both looked as though they would taste good as well as be good for him. He was a bit of a stickler for eating as healthy as possible, he had the look of one that took good care of himself after all. Once he had his plated filled he moved to sit down with Dinnye, giving the boy a glance, "I hope that I am not being a bother to your family." He said, best that he go so that he was no longer under foot, eating their food and needing to borrow their things. The last thing he wanted was for them to think that they owed him anything because he'd helped Dinnye, that was the last thing he'd wanted after all... he'd helped because it was the right thing to do, nothing more.
He watched Dinnye for a moment before he set about eating his food, deciding that it might be best that he head out after his meal.

One of the things that Dinnye hated about eating with only one other person, was the fact that there was nothing but silence between them. With at least three people, at least he could listen to the conversation that went between the others, then throw in his nod every now and again.
But here... Sitting with Kiyoshi.. It was awkward.. Even more so with how his heart pounded each time he gave the other a quick glance.
The maids all clamored around the door, giggling at the cuteness of the pair, knowing that soon enough, their little show would be over. Aliciana shooed the girls away, coming in with a portable phone.
"I'm Sorry, young sir, But the little master has business to attend to. Just like his father, He is a very busy young boy!"
The Melon's head snapped right up, confused. No he did not! With a silent whine, he stood, shaking his head.
"Sir, you have a play date with one of your father's buisness partner's sons. You can't just back out.."

Kiyoshi happily ate from the food that he had found on the buffet like table, finding that it was all quite high quality and really good tasting. He looked over at Dinnye from time to time to make sure that he was eating his meal since he hadn't eaten last night, making him worry for him. He looked alright at the moment though which was good, something that made him relax a bit.
Then the woman appeared, telling him that Dinnye had business to attend to... business...? At his age? He looked for a moment confused until she explained what it was that he had to do today, "Ohh, I see." He murmured before smile, "I am glad to hear that he won't be bored today and will have a friend to play with." That was good, when he'd seen the note from his father saying that the man was going to be away he had been worried for him... but since he was going out to play that was a good thing.
"I understand." He said, quickly taking a last couple of bites off his place before he pushed up to his feet, "I should get going soon as it is, will you be alright Dinnye?" He asked still worried for his young friend, wanting to make sure that everything was alright with him before he headed out and started for home.

Dinnye simply nodded, though he did not want to return to life as he normally knew it.. If anything, he wanted the boy to stay, to distract him as he shirked off the work he was alloted to do. It had been a very long time since he had had this much fun with anyone, his age or not, and quite frankly, he was going to miss having the other boy around.
Silently, just as always, he wrapped his short arms around the older boy's waist, giving him a nice squeeze, and a sad, but thankful look, before being whisked away by another maid to prepared for his work.
"You're more than welcome to come visit us anytime you like, Master Kiyoshi~ I'm sure the young master would quite enjoy it." Aliciana commented, making to lead the milk teen towards the door, opening it before him.
"We will all look forward to your next visit!"

Kiyoshi leaned over to give the boy a hug, "If you need me don't hesitate to get a hold of me, alright? I know that you can't exactly call but I am sure you can think of something, your a smart boy." He told him before he watched him as he was led off by another of the maids, giving a bit of a smile.
A short moment later, his things in hand, he was being ejected from the mansion. It sounded polite enough but he felt as though he had been dismissed embarrassingly enough... but then again he wasn't on the same level as these people, they were quite well off while he lived with his parents while searching for a place of his own. He gave a little half shrug before he was quickly heading away. He might not feel like he belonged there but if Dinnye needed him again for something he would likely return, wanting to check up on him from time to time, so long as it wasn't a bother to his family and servants at least.
The white haired man paused for a moment at the edge of the property to look over his shoulder one last time at the beautiful house and then he was on his way, back to the archery range so that he could get in his practice for the day.
