I... am not going to do the whole create with starting gold. It gives me a headache and then I normally get people who want to know why that person got so much more stuff than they should be able to afford.
As for if you do it before the others...
Uh... I don't know. Really, here's how it goes. At Wensday, I am going to close down the recruiting. If I get more than 4 sheets, then I'll pick the 4 ones that I like best. This is a 4 man game, and right now, I have... 2 sheets.

Oh, forgot to say this, that for the Alchemist, I was using Rogue's gold, since that seemed about right for it. Others would have Witch would have wizard, inquisitor... not sure yet. Cavalier-paladin. Oracle-cleric. Summoner... uh... I'm not allowing that class for this type of game.
