Nova nodded, and moved towards the back, starting to dig he went in deeper, and widening as he went. "this shouldn't take more than a day i think Kyr" he said, pausing to remove the dug dirt from the den.

Kyr smiled and got up to help. "That's good to know. Let me help you out!" While he moved the dirt out she started her own round of digging scooping the dirt towards the entrance.

All day they'd been digging, working at extending and widening the den. Finally he thought they'd done, it was far bigger than it had been, and even though it was bigger, seemed warmer and warmer. Nova turned to Kyrina and smiled, walking over and nuzzling her neck "why dont you go clean up Kyr l..l..love" he said licking her muzzle "before it gets too dark to take a swim? I'll follow soon, i'll finish getting rid of the dirt then join you ok?" he suggested, grinning to himself since he had something in mind to be doing before he cleaned up.

Kyr was panting but happy at Nova's words she nodded, licked his maw and sauntered to the stream. She didn't even pause at the river's edge just walked in to her tummy and laid down her nose and eyes just barely above the water.

Nova got to work, he dug furiously, glad that the water was far enough away so that she couldn't see the dirt he moved. It was almost dark by the time he'd finished, grinning he went to the stream, covered head to tail in dirt but looking smug.. about something, he entered the stream and immediately submerged, wriggling to loosen the dirt and let the slow flowing water carry the muck away. When he surfaced he still held the smug look in his face, nuzxling Kyr with a grin he led them back to his den. When they neared the entrance he stopped her "close your eyes b..b...b...before you go in, i'll l..l...lead you" he said, suddenly nervous.

Kyr was silent just enjoying the moment, when they reached the den and Nova told her to close her eyes she gave him an odd look but closed them anyways. "What's the big surprise?" She giggles. "Lead on then. And hurry I wanna see!"

Nova smiled and held himself next to Kyrs shoulder, nudging her gently into the den, "stay close just here" he said, leading her through a tunnel, only just big enough for the two of them to walk side by side, it twisted a couple of times before leading into a widened area, "OK Kyr open y..y...your eyes" he sat down in the middle of the chamber and waited for her reaction.

Kyr felt scared as she fumbled in the dark but Nova's calming presence helped her make it through the tight passageway. When her eyes opened she gasped in wonder. "Oh Nova!! It's perfect!" She dashes over to him and licks his maw. "Oh th,thank you!"

Nova felt relieved, *she likes it* he thought happily "its f..f...for when you're going to have the b..b...b..babies, its quiet and out of the way, if others come to visit, you can take the p..p..pups there to r..r..rest" he said, puffing his chest our proudly "i didnt know wh...wh...what sort of b..bedding you wanted, i'll let you do that bit" he said with a cheeky smile.

Kyr smiled and nuzzled him again. "It's wonderful thank you so much!" She walked around the room pondering what she was gonna use. "What about fur or feathers or moss...hmm Moss might be the best it'd grow nicely here."

Nova smiled and nuzzled Kyr "whatever you want Kyr love" he said with a sigh, smiling widely in pure happiness. "mmm i'm the morning we'll find some" he said with a yawn.

She returned his nuzzle and smiled at his yawn. "Sounds like it's time to rest. where do you want to sleep tonight?" Then realizing they may be moving too fast she flushed. "u,u,unless I should go home tonight."

Nova jumped up "dont go!" he cried, and snuggled into her close "this IS your home now" then he blushed "i...i..if you w..w...want it to b..b..b..be" he said

"Well then since this is my home now, shall we get some rest?" The butterflies in her stomach were gone now and she was content to stay, it wasn't like she had anywhere else to go or anything to grab from her old place. "So what room shall we be resting in tonight?"
