"I'm sure its pokemon proof" she said to Max, looking down at her Umbreon as he stepped up next to her. then back up again when she heard her name, then Hayes' question about her tools. "um" she took a moment to feel around the band on her leg "no I don't" she answered, "normally I would say yes though" thaaat was bad luck. "what will it take to get that thing open?" she asked with a slight frown, going over to take a look at it herself. He was right, it would be an easy fix... with tools.

Whimpering so quietly so that it couldn't be heard, Akemi started thinking of her options. Maybe she could crawl through the ventilation shafts? No, even though she was small it would be tight, difficult - not to mention risky.
She grabbed a small bottle of pills from her bag, tossing a few into her mouth and washed them down with lemonade. Surely there was some way to get the door open.. Hayes was good with electronics. He would figure something out.
There was no reason to panic.. The girl kept repeating the sentence in her head, but nevertheless her pale face grew ever paler as several attempts to open the door seemed to fail.
She let out Rei, and the Espeon curled up at its Trainer's side in an attempt to calm her down.

Jen noticed Akemi starting to grow pale. That was definately a bad sign; if everyone else started to follow suit...
Thats when another, but weak, idea came to mind and she spun around to face the person behind her. "Yo, person dude...whatever your name is. Dont you guys have some sort of...of..." She waved a hand, trying to think of a way to describe it. "In-HQ radio or phone or something? Maybe you could call someone up in the labs or office. Its not that late, unless everyone had a day off today."

Max let out a humph, stepping back. "Well, things can't get much worse, can they? I mean, it's not like there's no power in here at all!" On his head, Jayanti went rigid, eyes wide. Even she feared evoking Murphy's Law. The Grunt went back to the bleachers, laying down on one. All they could do was wait.

"Well." Nyx shifted her magnifying goggles back on top of her head. "Nothing left to do here. Impenetrable wall and floor. No tools. Mental note, keep tools on self at all times. Important. We should play a game, to pass the time. Or start a series of battles. This being a gym-like area, and all."

Hayes' mouth twitched. He still had a smile, but now it was a rueful one. Then he shrugged. Oh well, the gesture said. What can you do.
Nemerle waved her spaded tail and looked at her trainer questioningly, but he was already talking to another girl and fully self-composed if she was any judge. The Glaceon turned and padded across the arena floor.
"Hayes," the blond supplied for Jen. "And yeah, any 'dex should." He retrieved his from the pocket of his jeans, flipped it open, and pressed the radio button.
Silence.
"I know I put batteries in this," he muttered, and tried again.
Nothing.
"..right, Sunday night." He slipped it back in his pocket. "Network's down for maintenance."
Nemerle leapt onto the bench beside Akemi. There was a huff, and the Ice-type butted her arm gently.
"It's not like nobody comes by." The blond adjusted his glasses, voice raised a bit to carry to the rest of the Rockets. "At worst we'll be here 'til morning."

“I hear you there” she sighed at Sao’s comment about keeping tools on her. This was the second time she’s been without tools, and she’s regretted it both times. Running her fingers over the very tight screws drilling the key pad into place, lifting a corner of her mouth in pity, a screwdriver… that all she had to have.
Shuppet blinked at the other pokemon trying to play fight with him. Smiling brightly he swooped around Newton, “Shup Shup!” he cooed happily, frilling his skirt out at the other pokemon.
Turning her hazel gaze onto Nyx, while pushing herself up, studying this new face for a moment. This other grunt certainly looked unique from her style to the way she spoke.
At Haye's raised voice her attention was placed on him, slowly traveling to the others around the room. No arguing with him about that, it sucked, sure, but it wasn't anything as horrible as they usually had to deal with. Nodding in acknowledgment of the Agent's words, Faleen walked back over to her Umbreon, crouching down to stroke at his strong sides. muttering to him softly before she caught sight of her Shuppet again. ".... Shuppet" she said suddenly. "he's a ghost type. he can get out of this room and find someone." presenting that option casually to the room, before standing and motioning for her ghost type to come over.

"No takers? Even if we send a ghost to find help, we'll have to pass the time."
Newton puffed himself up to a larger size and floated around. Someone should play 'keep up' with him, he thought. He loved that game. He liked to play it with Aki.

The young Grunt had kept her eyes closed, listening to the others speak when she felt something nudging her arm. Looking to her side, she spotted a familiar Glaceon. "Oh, hi there.. Nemerle, wasn't it?" she said in a soft tone, stroking the pokémon's head.
Rei noticed the familiar face as well, and let out a sound that resembled a purr.
"There's one problem with the idea of using a Ghost-type, though.." she said, turning to look at the rest of the group. "They can't speak, nor write.. most likely anyone that sees them would just think that they got out of their ball and were out to cause mischief.." It started to seem all the more likely that they would be there until morning. The girl just hoped that the others wouldn't start fighting - that was the last thing they needed.

Teillo watched the various efforts in silence, only cringing at the more destructive ones. Destroying part of the building? Well, they were Rockets, but ye gods! Why put everyone's meager - oops, Elites in the room, and she surmised they made a pretty penny - her meager paycheck in danger. "I'd rather spend some time in a tiny pine box," the Trainee murmured, turning back to Rebar, "than lose money over it. You get me, love?" She rubbed the ears of the smaller Pokemon.
Rebar loved these touchy moments! She wagged all over under her master's hand; then, at her nod, vaulted down from the training dummy to disappear into the throng. Maybe she sensed the distress - but for whatever reason, the hard-fought creature found itself heading Akemi's way, all a-glitter with the "I've been petted~" brand of good feelings.

"I have friends out there that know my Shuppet, if he can find one of them then he can get them to follow him" Faleen explained to Akemi with a soft smile. "Shup!" her ghost said with a determined nod as he drifted over to her when summoned.
"Even if I didn't I still think its worth a shot." she pointed out with a slight shrug. If there was a problem, Faleen's wasn't one to just sit there and hope it fixes its self. Quietly she told Shuppet what she wanted him to do. The ghost seemed excited that he was getting an order. Find someone he knew! yes! he could do that, he could save his master and everyone.
(don't worry guys, he's ganna get lost XD or just not find anyone useful.)

Newton deflated, upset that his playmate was leaving. He looked around, who could he play with now? That blond guy with the glaceon looked fun. He floated over to and hovered around Hayes' head. "Floon."
Nyx gave her pokemon a look. That was a higher ranking Rocket. She hoped Newton wasn't planning to do something that would get her in trouble. She didn't want to be pushing papers for the rest of her Rocket career. "So. What do we do while we wait for the ghost to bring back help?"

Hanging around the door wasnt going to help very much, it was only going to make people antsy and nervous. Nodding at Hayes, Jen carefully slipped through the gathered Grunts and make headway back towards her egg and the money tucked away in the folds of the towel.
A bag of chips and some Staryu Cherry Soda sounded like a feast right now. Flattening a dollah, she made a move on the snack foods first. It went in, numbahs were punched...but as the stupid bag dropped down, it got stuck on one of the metal things that held the "foods" in place.
Dammit....Eh, it wasnt anything a good kick couldnt cure, aye?
Taking off her flipflops, Jen slipped into a karate position and inhaled....then lauched a kick at the machine with a sharp grunt. It connected with a loud bang yet the bag of chips did not shake loose.
Stupid machine... "Thou wants divine wrath?! SO BE IT!" With that, she launched another kick at the demon-possessed contraption. It was only a matter of time now....

Akemi had just started gently stroking the Eevee that had approached her as her attention shifted to Jen, seeing the other Grunt getting ready to kick the vending machine.
The small girl's purple eyes widened. "No! Stop! You'll bre-" Too late.
The machine made a weird sound, one that made it pretty obvious it was now busted, as well. Akemi let out a deep sigh. "Oh, by Arceus.. Just my luck.. what am I going to do without anything to eat..?" she muttered in a defeated tone as she meekly returned to cuddling the Eevee, her Espeon and Hayes' Glaceon.

Nemerle made a soft humming sound in the back of her throat and pushed against Akemi's hand, ears splaying to give it room. Go on, pet the Glaceon. Keep your mind off things. Despite her elemental type, at the moment her fur was as warm and soft as any other Eeveelution's.
"You could try Al too," Hayes interjected, hearing Faleen's plan take shape. "He's napping in my dorm." The agent jerked a thumb ceilingward and glanced up, spotting the Drifloon. "Oh hey." He smiled faintly at Newton - and winced at the sound of someone kicking the snack machine. Cabin fever already?
"A psychic or ghost-type could unlock it manually." The agent's tone stayed calm and reasonable as he looked around at the Pokemon gathered and his brow furrowed slightly. Most of these people were new recruits. While it was certainly possible, the real question was if anyone had a Pokemon trained well enough for that kind of fine manipulation.
