Herhands were on her hips, as she watched Nokomis for her answer.

Pietro appeared beside Koko, standing hand in hand with her as he began to lead her down the halls. "Well, as future president of this school, I feel uniquely qualified to show you this fine school," he said. With that, he lead Koko off, quite sure of himself and ready to impress.

Principal Kelly sighed dejectedly after the new girl's parents left her for the day. "I swear to God it was probably one of those mutants who caused that fight... we're gonna have to do something about that menace..."

Noko groaned and looked at the new girl. " do me a favor. someone comes to meet lunches with me but i prefer he stays hidden. if pietro asks where im at..could you maybe tell him im surfing the crimson wave or something and i had to go to the ladies. that will shut him up. " she said heading off school grounds.

Getting up late, as per usual, Anna rolled out of bed and yawned widely. Unsteady footsteps trudged accross the room. Checking herself in the mirror, having a shower and slipping into some tight shorts and a tanktop, she brushed her hair, bound her long ponytail and exited the room, tapping the door closed with her foot. Her stomach growled as she walked calmly down the hallways of the Institute. It was reasonably quiet, which was good. The last thing she wanted was to be swamped with Hello's and Good Morning's when all she wanted was to get to the kitchen and scarf down a delicious breakfast.
She arrived in the kitchen in time, and rummaged around in the cupboards for a box of corn flakes. Shaking the box into a bowl, she cast the box aside and grabbed a banana from a nearby fruit bowl. Ripping the skin back she proceeded to use a single finger to cut slices of the banana into her cereal. Tossing the banana skin to an undisclosed location in the vicinity of the rubbish bin, she grabbed some milk and started pouring it on.
Finish up, she grabbed a spoon from the drawer and snuck her bowl into the TV room, intending to watch the day movies and laugh at how badly they were acted. She sat cross-legged on the couch, bowl in hand, chomping down mouthfuls of cornflakes. When she was nearly done, sounds of walking around peaked her interest. She turned down the TV and looked over her shoulder. She saw someone walking around, so she thought she'd check them out, see who they were, if they were up to anything. She did tend to get bored throughout the day, it was always nice to see what others were up to, just in case her own plans to keep herself entertained fell through.
So, leaping up and walking around, she tried to find who was up and about.
P.s. Sorry, I'm really rusty, wasn't sure who was around.

OOC: I'm not around, I'm doing a filler. I just HAVE to post and all. So excited. biggrin
BIC:
Victor looked down at himself and gave a heavy sigh. I look like crap. His normally white business shirt was stained with sweat, dirt and other form of mess, his once clean jeans were torn and muddied everywhere. Okay... What is this place again...? Having been into town for like only a few minutes, he had missed the 'welcome sign' as he had walked into town. Seeing several shops featuring the name Bayville, he nodded in satisfaction in knowing where he is. "Bayville..." He muttered as he continued to walk down the street, gathering many stares from passer-bys as some pointed at him muttering: 'Filthy Dirtbag' and other opinions Victor 'kindly' tuned out from. They can think what they want...
Running low on money, he had only a twenty dollar note left and a few coins in his pocket. Hoping they'll last him for at least lunch and dinner, Victor went off in search of breakfast. Finding a bakery around the corner, he went up to the counter and asked for a small chunk of bread. The baker looked at Victor with a frown and reluctantly serve him. Giving the Baker some of his remaining coins, he thanked him and was about to go on his way when the baker called him back and too pity on him.
"Here, you look like you could do with a sugar bun." The kind hearted man gave Victor the bun with a smile. Thanking the baker once again, he waved and made his way away. What a kind man. Victor thought as he sat down at a park he came across to eat his breakfast. It was a small breakfast but he'll have to make do.
I don't know how long I'll last, maybe after today, and then tomorrow morning. Then I'll have to take to begging. It won't be so bad. Finishing the rest of his breakfast, he looked at the people who walked past him, many ignoring him. Deciding to not make an issue with people, he walked out of the park and continued along the street.
As he continued to walk, four teenage gang members saw how poor he was and decided that he was good for a morning beat up. Oh crap...
"Time for some whopping boys." The four boys began to walk in closer and surround Victor, but no one else seemed to pay any attention to them though. They four kids looked and glared at the nervous Victor. "Come on boys, there's no need for that. I ain't done no wrong." Victor pleaded but the boys only laughed. Everyone these days has a mobile phone... Feeling afraid, he made use of that well, near fact and opened his mind towards the teenagers and indeed them four were carrying cell phones. Oh goodie... Deciding not to make an issue and expose himself as a mutant, Victor flicked his will and at once, the four mobile phones Victor connected to began to ring. The four teenagers looking confused, took their cellphones out to see and what they saw surprised them. Their phones were dialing for the police station. The call went through and on the other end of the phones came the voices of police officers.
"Hello, Bayville Police, what is your emergency?"
Freaked out, the four boys quickly began to end the calls and put their phone back, using that moment, Victor knocked one of the boys aside and escaped through that opening. The boys lost and confused did not attempt to follow. Running for about a street of two, he slowed down breathing hard. Why is physcial exercise never my strong point? Walking past shops and people, Victor didn't know what else to do. I'll have to ask where is are the next towns so I can prepare myself for some serious lifestyle change...

Matt slipped into his next class, something to do with science as far as he could guess from the timetable, and took a stool almost at the back and near the windows that covered most of a wall. On the blackboard he could see the word 'biology' and already his head was hurting.
"Aye aye aye, school does not agree with me." Pulling a pen out of his pocket he sat there quietly, his eyes intent on the board but seeing nothing but the actual color while he was doodling. If anyone was to ask, he had no clue what was being said but he intended on at least pretending he could listen.

Growing impatient with his waiting, Jacen crushed yet another can of soda into a ball of tin and threw it to the ground. There it was, half past two and no one was home yet. "******** this," Jacen muttered to himself as he pulled a pair of dark shades that was with his normal garments out and equipped them. It had been too long and Jacen's increasing agitations did nothing to cure his weariness. He needed to feast off of other people's despair. He could feel it in his muscles how fatigued he was, and that was just due to no one being around at all. Still, he thought the five ingested sodas did give him enough stimulant to keep him awake for a little while longer so he left to go find some havoc to wreak.
Living on the rough side of town wasn't too much of a bother for Jacen. He had grown up on the rough sides of major cities for a year or so, fending off plenty of people who'd want to kill him if nothing else than for being on their turf. The various kids that ran around playing in the streets stopped playing and ran in the opposite direction of Jacen screaming. A good dose of fear, but surely not enough to give him what he craved. He could feel the gazes of the children's parents fall on his form as he kept on walking, they too fearing the young man for whatever reason. But still, it wasn't quite enough to give him what he craved.
He kept on walking for a few blocks more, seeing he came upon the market districts in the downtown. He walked casually by a fruit vendor, stole an apple, and took a huge bite of it. Jacen grinned slightly when he heard the shopkeep start yelling at him rather loudly, calling him a thief. With a reluctant shrug of his shoulders, Jacen turned around and threw the apple hard at the shopkeep's head. So hard, the apple exploded on impact. "You can have it back," Jacen said spitting out the bite he took on the ground, "It tastes like s**t anyways." That little outburst from the shop's owner, plus the residual anger Jacen took away definitely made him feel more energized but that wasn't good enough for him. He wanted more energy.
So again, after picking up his walking pace, he found it only took a relatively short amount of time to make it to the school by way of his feet. Something he was definitely going to have to remember. The further he walked down the sidewalk adjacent to the school, the closer he got to the football fields and the school's team practices. When he looked to his left, he saw the football team in mid-drill, getting ready for their big game coming soon. "Who better to antagonize?," Jacen thought as he slowly crossed the street.
Intentionally, Jacen leaned his back up against the chainlink fence and let his aura bleed out heavily. In only a minute's time, he could feel the hate and anger from the team leak into his body. All the hatred....hatred that he had caused gave him that final rush of energy he wanted, if nothing more than because he knew he was the one who caused it all. Carefully, Jacen withdrew the blanket of negative emotions back into his body, letting the coaches quash the fight, and getting them at peace again. With a smug look on his face, Jacen pushed his shades back up the bridge of his nose and walked down the street again, this time back towards the direction of the Brotherhood house.
He wasn't exactly paying attention as he walked to his new home, he was more fixated on how much energy he had absorbed in such a short amount of time. Thinking he was going to like it here, he felt something run hard into his left arm as he kept on walking by. Jacen looked down to see a shorter, young woman standing there looking slightly dazed, but fine as it was. When they bumped into each other, Jacen's glasses got jarred around and fell to the ground. He wasn't sure if the young lady had seen his eyes, but Jacen didn't panic even though he saw the shades were broken.
"Cheap sunglasses," Jacen muttered, "Just like that song....." And so, he left the broken eyewear on the concrete and went about his way home.

"OOF" was all she managed before her hand went to her head. All the darkness in his mind was a dangerous thing. " keep your thoughts down you never know who may be listning. " she said knowing he probably didnt care to hear her or even stop. She continued to the appointed meeting place but looking at her watch she was early. Sitting down at the tree she leaned her head back. She knew one of these days John and Pietro would meet. and all hell would break loose and shed be at the center of it. Thats why today was the day she was going to tell john she dated pietro. However fate had other ideas. With a groan she picked up a note that was tagged to the tree and read it.
" got things to do. Ill meet you soon.
--pyro"
With a snort she mused outloud. " never got a dear John letter before. " and with that she tucked the letter into her pocket and headed back to school. Walking twords the group again the wind hit her and the letter flew out of her pocket and she grimmiced as the letter whapped pietro in the face.

Koko was suprised as the way he held her hand. No one had even thought about holding it. No one outside of the clan, that is.
She felt uncomfortable, walking along with him. Holding his hand. It was almost as if she was nervous. "Ah see... Where thae great 'Tro hangs.. Ah'm correct?"
She asked, eyebrow raised. "Yae'll jus' confuse mae unless yae go slow."
_____
Kyuushi had finally settled everything down, calming the Principal. The bad vibe he had gotten from him had caused him and Lotus to leave. As he got into the car, Lotus turned to him.
"We should talk to the clan. Do you think America is unsafe as well?" Lotus asked, pausing, biting her lip.
Kyuushi smiled cordially and patted the seat next to him. "Dear... Our clan would not allow them to kill any of our kind off. And you know as well as I do that Obsidian is not the power-abusing child she was before."
Lotus laughed, feeling calmer now as she slid into the car next to her husband, buckling up... "Still..."

Jacen heard the young lady say something to him, but he tried to pay no mind but he couldn't. "Keep my thoughts down?," Jacen ran over in his mind. "How could she tell that..unless...." It sort of clicked over in his head. She may, in fact, be a mutant. At the high school, nonetheless. And for a kicker, she may be one of Xavier's brats, the ones he was told to keep his eyes on. Feeling a sense of newfound resolve, Jacen turned on his heel and walked slowly into the school.
When he entered the school, he saw it was darker than it was outside. A blessing for him. He hated bright light, almost always craving some form of darkness. and the school's halls were a reprieve from the beaming sun. The more he walked through the school, he less comfortable he felt. Jacen wasn't used to being around so many people, though it wasn't as packed as it seemed it should be. "They probably all let out," he thought as he walked past the office.
He turned a corner down the hall and saw Pietro standing there with two young ladies, being as brash and arrogant as ever. He didn't like Pietro for that. In fact he didn't like Pietro for many reasons, his arrogance only the tip of the iceberg, but Jacen tolerated him. "So he's the bossman around here," Jacen thought as he walked up behind the group.
As he stood back slightly, he could hear Pietro going on one of his many irritating tangents. Feeling a bit disgusted that Pietro didn't ever get sick of hearing his own voice, Jacen let out a bit of his aura to try and shake things up a bit. He couldn't exactly see what was happening, but when he heard the others around Pietro starting to speak up, he recognized the shorter of the girls voice's. It was the one who bumped into Jacen.
He felt sickeningly satisfied that he had caused enough of a commotion amongst the group, so he again withdrew his aura and let everyone start to come down to a normal level of civility. So, while wearing a smug grin on his face, Jacen tapped the young girl on the shoulder, garnering the attentions of everyone in the small group.
"Miss mutant," Jacen said in a low tone of voice, "I'd appreciate it if you'd not read the minds of people you randomly bump into."

Noko groaned and used her powers to snatch the note back but missing it yet again she whapped the boy who tapped her. Snatching the note she ripped it to shreds in her anger. " forgive me for not being ******** jean grey. " She hissed. Her parents had sent her to xaviers school. She was supposed to be staying there. However she didnt want to so she came home on a nightly basis. " you run into me..my powers go haywire i see things. Not like i do it on purpose. You tap me my note flies into your face. See the connection?"

Jacen growled as he peeled the piece of paper off of his face. He could hear snickers from some people around him, which only increased his own anger. He didn't care who was around, he wasn't going to hold back his agitation any longer. He was agitated for numerous reasons, this girl's smart-a** attitude topping it all off like the cherry on a sundae.
"The only connection I see," Jacen retorted, "Is my fist hitting your face if you don't calm your tongue, child." Jacen glowered down at the girl, not knowing and not even caring who she was. As he looked down, he could feel the energy smoldering from his eyes. They always did that when he got angry himself. Even though he didn't care that others were around, he knew one of his main objectives to being around in this particular city was to be inconspicuous. It was hard to do that with twenty or so adolescents staring at fiery black eyes.
"Now are we going to continue this little game," Jacen asked in rare moment of calm, "Or shall we be civil since it seems we're garnering attention from everyone around us?"

Noko growled a bit but calmed visibly once the note was destroyed. " im not the one threatning to hit ladies. " she said yanking her flannel shirt off again. " Besides have you ever had people expect your perfect when theres another telepath around like that big boobed air headed jean grey?" noko had no love for the other telepath. She saw her more as an annoyance than anything else. Course she didnt have much to say for any of the popular people at the time. " and if you want to keep attention away you do this. " She said concentrating and making a water pipe explode. " its more fun. " she said with a grin.

Penny was busting to get out of school that afternoon. She felt pent up in the classrooms. It didn't help that the weather outside was so nice that being inside seemed like a punishment. Final bell was a godsend.
She sat outside on the hood of her car waiting for some of the younger Xaverites to come out of school. Kitty was the first to come up to her as she was retying her boot. The girl jumped up onto the hood and started flipping through a plethera of flyers she had.
"What are all those, Kat?" Penny asked taking a few out of her hands. They were advertisemetns for different clubs and activities through the school. There was even a 'Pietro for President' flyer.
"I don't know. I was thinking of joining a few activities, you know, to get out there and meet new people and stuff," Kitty picked up a student council one.
"You'd be good at that," Penny nodded towards that one.
"You'd be good at this one," Kitty handed Penny a gymnastics team auditions flyer.
Penny laughed, "I don't think so."
Kitty put her hand on her hip, "Please, you could do tricks they've never seen before."
"Kitty, it would be cheating," Penny was dead serious.
"Doesn't say anywhere in the rules of any sport that mutants can't participate."
Penny shook her head, "Kitty, end of conversation. "

Finally! Jamie practically jumped out of his seat and left the room. He finished throwing his backpack over his shoulder when he was already out of the room. He grinned as he left the school, happy that it was finally over. He nodded to some of the other people who were from the mansion.
"Hi Kitty! Hi Penny!" He yelled as he passed them once he was back on his bike. He put his headphones up to his head after he passed them, and concentrated on listening to music and not getting hit by a car.
